The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a corner King Room (I believe), and we loved the view the windows provided. The bathroom was roomy and well-lit. A lot of little details added up to an exceptional experience. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Access to SFO's AirTrain (and BART) was very convenient.

By nature of the hotel being located at the airport, there's almost nothing within walking distance -- to note for those used to just stepping out of their hotel and finding places to eat or convenience stores around the corner. Access is strictly through car or BART.

We had an odd, long layover from Europe and didn't want the stress of getting to and from the airport. This is the ideal splurge midway through a long, exhausting trip. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more than a shower (with luxurious toiletries) and the bed. Check-in and check-out were seamless, 24-hour staff were both essential (if you're leaving at 4am, as we were) and attentive. If you need to get into the city, the BART is conveniently there.

It's an expensive splurge and specifically convenient for the airport, so in other circumstances (e.g., vacationing in San Francisco or doing anything other than a layover), I probably wouldn't stay there.

Our second stay at this property. It is very convenient when flying into SFO the day before a long haul flight. The airport Air Train drops you off at the hotel front door. The room was lovely, very clean and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. We started off with cocktails at the bar and enjoyed chatting with our bartenders and watching the basketball playoffs. We chose to eat dinner in the bar area because we enjoy Silvia‘s service. Silvia served us eight months ago on our first visit to the grand Hyatt, she is an excellent server. Our dinner was very delicious and so was our breakfast. We hope to return on our next long-haul flight out of San Francisco.

I liked the availability of an alternative to the restaurant. I think the staff were/are VERY professional and responsive in-person. The robo-call reliance is distracting and unfriendly. This is a 'people-business!'

1. I really disliked the restaurant. The menu is limited to Asian, somewhat 'exotic' dishes, and I am not a gourmet", nor do I desire to be. Way too much seafood. No good choices for such things as a chicken Caesar or Cobb salad; no interesting soup choices or pasta. I had a business meeting over lunch and was embarrassed by the food offered, to include desserts. And, the bar uses almost the same menu, unfortunately. 2. However, I really liked the style/decor of the restaurant.....great views, privacy, and attentive servers! You blew it with the menu.. You forget that most folks are NOT 'Foodies".

First thing I liked is I was able to go with my luggage cart from the baggage claim and up the elevator to the skytrain and stop at the hotel checkin. They keep your luggage cart there with your heavy luggage so you can go up to your room with your checkin baggage making it easy! The room was excellent and a great view of the planes and runway. -they even have binoculars to view planes closer, a cute touch. Also I loved the fact the room was totally silent!!! Didn’t hear a single plane!! Good curtains made the room totally dark. Congrats to the builders there!!

Only real Con is just since Covid-19 the restaurants are closed (understandable) -but they do have good room service!

Building was beautiful since it is brand new.

My husband and I went to dinner at the restaurant and I didn't like anything on the "Adult" menu, so I chose a cheeseburger from the kids menu. The waiter told me I couldn't order off the of the child's menu and the chef wouldn't let him put in an order for a kids cheeseburger when I should be ordering from the "Adult" menu. So, my husband ate his meal by himself while I just sat there waiting for him to finish so I could go find something to eat elsewhere. I thought this was ridiculous because how would the chef know that I wasn't ordering for a child? It was upsetting because I was willing to pay for my meal, and I wasn't ordering anything off of the menu. So, I figured they would rather lose money than provide a kids meal to an adult.

Elegant styling from top to bottom. Excellent amenities for guests. Restaurants and grab and go selections were plentiful and delicious. The room was overflowing with high end finishes and luxuries such as a comfy robe, glass tiled shower with foot bar for shaving (definitely using idea that in my next shower remodel at my house!), a scale and those beds are like sleeping on a cloud. I wish I could have stayed longer to just lay in that bed all day long! The convenience of the AirTrain station is priceless. Loved the fact the room was soundproof - no airport or freeway noise heard at all. Will definitely return and try to stay longer!

Absolutely nothing - keep up the excellent work!

We had a 9 hour layoff on a connection from Boston to Australia. Hotel was easy to get to on the Airtrain from the terminal. Comfy, clean, and quiet room. Staff was super friendly. Easy check in and check out.

The food and drink options were confusing. Multiple dining options, but when we tried to get something around 4PM, they told us the kitchen was closed between 3 and 5. Our suggestion: consolidate the food offerings in one central place and have some decent options across a wide span of time. I am guessing that many people are booking a room for a layover, so flexibility is key. It was also a little frustrating that the day-rate was only applicable between 10 and 6, as our layover was between 3 and 10, so we had to book an entire overnight.

Doesn't get any better in terms of access for connecting to an international flight. Flying to Singapore on AM flight, needed to be on site early. Relaxing atmosphere, rooms very comfortable and quiet in spite of location. Good choice of prime California wines by the glass at the hotel bar. Food service at the bar was very efficient.

Very pricey even for an easy access venue. The restaurant and bar both had limited food choices and were equally over priced/expensive. Staffing shortage meant one had to wait (20+ minutes) to eat in the restaurant in spite of only 60% occupancy.

Location, location, location....you cannot beat this hotel for not just proximity, but also the connectivity to the airport. The train has a stop at the hotel itself, and I loved the fact that the hotel provides you the ability to get the airport's luggage trollies that you can load your baggage into and take on the train.

The bar could have stayed open until longer (closes 11pm, I think). Also, the restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, but not lunch...as we were staying at the hotel prior to our flight in the following morning, we were thinking of asking some friends to join us for lunch and hosting them -- as it happened, the restaurant is not open for lunch, so we had to meet up in the town instead (probably convenient for our friends, but not us).
