I recently stayed at the Regency Inn in San Francisco, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. As I was searching for a hotel within my budget, I encountered a common dilemma - most affordable options in the downtown city were either outdated or inconveniently located, often with shared bathrooms. However, my luck turned around when I discovered the Regency Inn near the SFO airport. One of the first things that caught my attention was its proximity to public transportation. Being just a short 2-minute walk from the San Bruno Caltrain station, it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness. The rooms were well-maintained and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. It was evident that the hotel took pride in keeping their accommodations in top-notch condition. The complimentary morning breakfast was a welcome addition. While it wasn't an extravagant spread, it provided a satisfying start to the day. The offerings included coffee, juice, muffins, yogurts, and even some cheese sandwiches. However, what truly set the Regency Inn apart was the exceptional staff. Dinesh, who handled my check-in, was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that the process went smoothly. I also had the pleasure of chatting with Rema at the front desk, who guided me about the transportation San Francisco. In conclusion, if you're searching for a safe and budget-friendly hotel in San Francisco, I wholeheartedly recommend considering the Regency Inn. Its convenient location near public transportation, spacious and clean rooms, and attentive staff make it an excellent choice for travelers seeking both comfort and affordability. Instead of dealing with the drawbacks of staying in downtown SF, this hotel offers a fantastic alternative that won't disappoint.

The noise from other rooms, streets, and planes was a bit disturbing if your sleep is weak.

This was great for a one night stop near the airport. Indeed it would be the same for a longer stay if required. Check in was smooth and the receptionists very friendly. Clean and large room with a comfortable bed. Plenty of clean and fluffy towels and toiletries. Coffee in the room. TV and aircon if needed. Free snacks and other hot drinks for breakfast in the lobby. $15 Uber or taxi to the airport, which takes around 5 minutes.

Nothing much, just right for the airport. Quite pricey, though better value than other options in the area and probably expected for the city

Our experience from check-in to check-out was fabulous, Joyce the front desk agent was extremely helpful, and friendly! We ran into one small problem and the staff at Regency immediately remedied the situation for us. We're night owls so late check out is always something we ask for and Regency was happy too accommodate an extra hour! we will absolutely be back here for our next trip to San Francisco! Lastly we thought it was awesome they had fruit juice available complimentary, every hotel has coffee, this was our first time finding complimentary juice outside of breakfast hours! Thank you for the awesome stay!

We booked this hotel for three overnight stays on the way to and from Hawaii and England. We chose the hotel because it was close to the airport and reasonably priced. When we arrived it looked like a fairly standard motel, but from the moment we stepped inside it far exceeded our expectations. The manager, Dinesh, couldn't have been more helpful. We were given rooms on the ground floor to save us taking our luggage upstairs; he allowed late check-outs at no extra cost to fit in with our flight times; he organised taxis for us; and when two of our party overslept and missed the grab-and-go breakfast, he got everything back out for them. The room itself was extremely well-equipped with very comfortable beds, a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, etc, and even had a make-up remover and lens wipe as well as the expected toiletries. Thank you Dinesh - we won't hesitate to stay at The Regency Inn again if ever we are in the area.

MR Patel was super friendly and helpful. Many local but accomodating restaurants were within walking distance This was one of the cleanest and best maintained motels Inhave ever stayed. Itnis .only 5 min by car from the airport but the cab fare is about $25. You can take Caltrain or Bart to San Bruno The Bart walk is about 1/2 mile.and Caltrain stop is a 10.minute.or less walk tonthe motel Prive is very reasonable for San Francisco.area. Continental breakfast is coffee, tea, variety of pre.packaged sweet rolls and juices.

A big shout out to Dinesh who was extremely helpful on all accounts - from check-in, check-out to helping find a veg restaurant that was walking distance. Very friendly and helpful - even printed out directions to the restaurant. In the morning he was helping me find the veg options at breakfast.

actually not much to say on this to be honest - overall - good stay and will stay here again. Perhaps a little more pricey then other options but its very close to the airport.

Very friendly and helpful staff, providing quick check-in/check-out and happily storing luggage before check-in. The room was perfectly clean and spacious, with a big working desk.

Planes take off above the hotel, hence the room upstairs are far from quiet. The selection of breakfast is very limited. The walk from the BART station is quite long (15 min), on streets which may not be safe at night.

Stayed for 1night met Denish at the reception, very polite and welcoming. The Inn's distance from the airport is a 5minutes drive very close. The room has got a private bathroom very clean, the heater is working a hot water bath/shower running, they have got a hair dryer made use of it. And if your a coffee person you well sorted.

This is a real motel - carry your bags up to outside door. We booked it for its proximity to the airport. The staff was super friendly- helped with early checkin, adjoining rooms, and directions for local transportation. This is not a high end chain but very well maintained with nice decor and beds. We stayed at a few places on our trip and this was a great value in comparison.

Very convenient distance from the airport (we took the airport train and the rest was a walkable distance ~15min. We collected rented car from the airport the next day). Good value for money, the room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Close by main street with varaiety of restaurants

The minifridge was loud, we had to unplug it during the night
