Holiday Inn Knoxville West - Cedar Bluff, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was great and the location was also. The rooms are very small. We would never stay there with four adults in one room.

The size of the room and the shower tile was cracking off and the floor had hair and dirt on it. We registered two adults and one 14 year old. We did not have but two sets of towels and no hand towels aside from the bath sets. When we called and ask for towels we were told that we would have to come and get them.

April, our waitress, was personality plus, making the breakfast atmosphere one to look forward to. Breakfast, either from the menu or buffet, was perfectly cooked, presented, and adequate. Precious, at the main desk, was very pleasant, engaging, and efficient. She made the check-in and check-out as quickly dealt with as could have been done. Kudos to the staff!

Great location and the staff were nice especially the manager was working doing desk, clean up, delivering towels. The breakfast with hot food was a great value and allowing dogs was a bonus. The air conditioning worked really well and we took advantage of the laundry area as we have a second leg to our trip and needed to do it!

There should be a fan in the bathroom, the elevator went out a few times but it was a very busy weekend. No extra blankets were available. The pool area needed a clean up. There were towels and garbage. ( Although people should clean up after themselves). Lack of staff during the pandemic has become normal. I’m sure with a full staff all this is normally done. The workers could not have worked harder or been nicer.

There were a few good options on the breakfast menu, however they were short staffed a few days so there was a long wait to be seated and served. The few staff members that were there were very hospitable despite the set back.

Our restroom consistently smelled like urine I requested for housekeeping to come clean again they refused to send someone until we were out of the room (I let her know I was the only one in the room the rest of my party was at the b ball court. I would have stepped into the hall.) however I never feel comfortable with housekeeping cleaning while my belongings are in the room so I declined and this is wherever I stay nothing personal. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and planning to drive to gatlinburg everyday. Too long a commute.

it truly seemed like you could smell weed. Also, while in the lobby trying to complete some studying with my classmate at night a seemingly drunk man was persisting to bother us a bit. we told the front desk staff and we were given a space to study which was very helpful.

From the minute I checked in and out the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this Hotel.

There is nothing bad I could say about this Hotel . The room was very clean . The staff was very nice and friendly . we ate breakfast at Giddys the food was good and the staff was great

The staff is so friendly ! I cant remember the young ladies name, but she has tattoos and is so sweet! We never stay anywhere other than this hotel when we come into town. Thanks for always making our stay amazing and accommodating. Also, the breakfast is fantastic!!!

Excellent location -- easy to find. I wasn't fully aware when booking that the lodging rate did not include breakfast. However, the cafe on premises does offer a satisfactory hot breakfast with ample table seating and prices are reasonable. The cafe breakfast menu was not as varied as I would have liked but it was ok. The hotel is very large if you like large hotels. All facilities were in good, modern condition (including hallways, elevators and stairs) and the hotel has a very nice outside seating area, attractive landscaping and a large attractive pool.

But again, I did not see this information prominently displayed when I booked the room so that is an area for improvement, similar to the communication regarding breakfast not being included in the nightly rate

The rooms and property were immaculate. The staff was very nice, helpful and very polite and pleasant. Precious at the front desk was awesome! Thank you! I would highly recommend staying here !!

The staff was very professional and helpful. Cory, Ashley, and Jeff provided excellent customer service. Cory provided great food recommendations and ensured my rooms were connected.

The computers were extremely slow.
