Sonesta Simply Suites Knoxville

Location was just off HWY 40 and easy to get to it. The Suite was clean and comfortable. Full size refrigerator, microwave oven, sink and dishwasher if your are planning an extended stay. Staff was very friendly. Pet friendly as well although this trip we didn't bring our pet.

The only improvement I can think of would have been the air conditioning unit. It was loud when cycling on and off.

The people were so nice. The laundry room is free and for a long stay that was a giant plus. The area is peaceful and felt safe. Taking the dog by myself that was key.

I didn't like that booking through booking.com we couldn't change our reservation during our stay because we left a day early but had to pay for the day anyway

Nice and Affordable and Pet Friendly!! Beds were comfortable. Staff was great and rooms were very nice. I would recommend these suites!!

Drunk guys playing football in the parking lot. Asked to stop by staff, but continued on. After a a second attempt by staff, they finally knocked it off. The only problem we had, considering it was a holiday weekend. No other issues!!

The room was nice and clean. The layout of the room was more suited for my work activities....plenty of plugs that were easy to access. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and this by far has been my favorite! The staff at this location was the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Another plus was the cable tv options which were much better than at other hotels.This will be my go to hotel when I have to come to the area.

It was a little noisy when other guests opened and closed their room doors but that is a minor thing that happens at all hotels other than that I have no negatives.

Everything. It was completely amazing! From the just right beds, to the can opener in the drawer, to the wrapped and disinfected remote. That little bit of dishsoap, the amber light by the bedside, the reclining chair by the bed, so you could actually put your feet up. Never have I stayed somewhere that was so well thought out, that was planned for you comfort. They didn't have breakfast but they had a "wall o snacks" and cold drinks and frozen meals you could buy on the honor system. Had it not been for this one unknown place, my three days of travel and the disastrous Best Westerns (NEVER AGAIN) I would have lost faith, but the rest I got here renewed me and gave me hope to continue on.

Nothing it was all amazing.

It had everything I needed for my 5 night stay- coffee pot, iron, hair dryer even a dishwasher! it also has basic kitchenware.

It did have a slight odor. But it was like an old odor. I’m thinking maybe carpet needs replaced.

The employees at Sonesta were very friendly and helpful. They offered a lot of encouragement; we are elderly so that meant a lot. The residential area behind the motel was great for walks.

The motel is pretty popular so it may be difficult to book a room in the future. We would love to stay there again!

The bed. How clean it was for an older building. And how quiet and peaceful it was to sleep.

I felt it could have been a bit cleaner, and there was a weird or funky smell as soon as you stepped off the elevator on the 3rd floor.... kinda of smelled musty...but mixed with another smell.

SEE MY REVIEW*** My stay at Candlewood Suites was above standards from a lot of 5 star hotels in which I stayed throughout the years, for business trips or pleasure/vacations. The staff and hotel was exceptional in every way.

I am a large dog owner, and feel that people staying in a pet friendly hotel need to be able to control their dog while walking. If your dog is large, & if possible, 2 people should be present at ALL times to assure their animal is under control or is trained to obey commands. Otherwise, with the "buddy system", 1 person can go ahead to assure no other dog is in the same area to avoid confrontations & to help control the dog to avoid a situation. People with pets (large or small) SHOULD also BE CONSCIOUS OF OTHER PEOPLE staying at the hotel, and PICK UP YOUR PETS POOP. In other words: CURB YOUR DOG! It's a $500.00 fine on the streets, as is there a fine implemented for HANDICAP parking. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE YOUR KIND CONSIDERATION & COOPERATION, and ENJOY your stay.

I wasn't expecting the hotel as nice as this. Our room had a kitchenette with a small stove, full size coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. The bed was very comfortable. They also had a recliner to relax in after a long day on the road. This hotel is a keeper for all my travels north.
