Liked the room facing sea, breakfast was top knots , staff very friendly and very good at serving food and listening , quick to solve a problem

When l went to my room upon arrival was not cleaned ,when l was very tired and needed to rest and inform my my family l had arrived ,since l was travelling by myself.but above all the manager and his staff was very apologetic and took responsibility which l appreciated instead of pushing blame to someone else. Above all the hotel staff are friendly, it’s a hotel value for money and coming back next year.

Room was comfortable, location close to lovely coastal walks

Just little things, a few examples: at breakfast you could only have greasy food, sugary food, or tasteless bread (the pale baguettes that are normally put in the oven for self baking were inexplicable; toasting them is not enough). Also food waste: lots of awful looking bacon that nobody wanted was eventually replaced by nice bacon just before the end of breakfast, which was then all wheeled away after 10am, uneaten. Our toilet also stopped flushing early in the morning on the last day (some other rooms were also affected). When I reported it at check out (we'd been using reception toilets), I was told 'not a problem'. Glad it wasn't a problem for you.

Welcoming staff with comfortable room and bed. Dinner menu was limited but it was a Sunday evening. Room was a reasonable size but design was dated - separate bedroom and toilet. Very clean but room lighting was limited and both bedside lamps were non-functioning until I established that both had been unplugged from sockets situated behind the bed head which necessitated me moving both beds to resolve. Poor should have been checked during room service. Limited sockets generally which meant I couldn’t charge my phone on the bedside table.so I book ed a wake up call which was completed on time - small redemption. Nonetheless location is good with good parking and overall a clean and tidy hotel, I would stay again but only for a day or so.

Lack of working lights and number of accessible plugs.

We loved staying at this hotel. We stayed for 6 nights with our two dogs and our room was big, clean and comfortable. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better, as it was only a stone’s throw away from two beautiful sandy beaches. The food was outstanding! We had breakfast most mornings and dinner most evenings, and the food (mainly fish) was fabulous. As for the staff, they were friendly, polite, cheerful, kind and super helpful. Highly recommended.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

1. Amazingly friendly staff - who welcomed you and you got to know during your stay. 2. Setting and location of the hotel - very close to two amazing beaches. Easy to get around from this location by walking, or by car / bus. 3. Bar and restaurant welcoming and very friendly staff.Food good and reasonably priced. Cocktails were well made and a great treat.

Nothing to complain about and we would be happy to return ....often! ( This was a return visit)

Quiet rooms with double glazing, separate loo and bathroom, with an internal door to reduce any noise from the corridor. The location of the hotel is idyllic near beaches and Rousse Pier for swimming. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would certainly stay here again. Excellent buffet breakfast and large car park.

The hotel is located in Vale, directly at the coast, with beautiful views of the sea/bay. The room was outstanding and the staff was extremely friendly at all occasions.

Personally, I would have preferred a choice of coffee specialities for breakfast instead of the choice between filter coffee or different teas. Other than this, everything was great.

Lovely walks and beaches in the area . Lovely ice creams in the kiosks . Away from any hustle and bustle. Easy bus service into St Peter’s port . Staff always polite and courteous.

No air con if it’s particularly hot . Buffet breakfast… disappointing. However , good selection of yoghurts, fruits cheeses. Food generally good. However, hand cut chips appear to be cooked , heated and cooked again .

We have stayed here a few times now. The front desk staff recognised my family on arrival and we felt taken care of. Extra smiles for our dog - they are very dog friendly. The staff are always ready to help! The restaurant serves some great food - a good variety which we all enjoyed (my 4 year old included). The breakfast has been improved to table service for the hot food - it's noticeably fresher and a decent choice on the buffet for cold also. This preferred hotel in Guernsey now :)

The only thing that could improve it to have a suite or connecting room which allows our dog. The dog friendly rooms otherwise share a double and single bed... our daughter is sometimes a pain sharing a room with us and struggles to sleep.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and always fresh. The pool area was great, the pool is heated which is perfect for kids. The hotel also keeps inflatables and other pool toys left behind and store these in the changing rooms for other guests to use. The hotel location is fantastic, right on the beach with lots of picnic benches outside to enjoy the views, and there is a bus stop very close to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
