We had the most enjoyable relaxed stay at this place. There are so many rooms and places to relax inside and outside building and beautiful gardens. Did not have a car so had the local bus card which we purchased at the bus station office. Many of the buses passed by or near and this was really easy to help us get around the island. We also had hire bikes delivered to the hotel . Our room was a good size with a balcony and big door to.open . Beds very comfortable. Tea and coffee provided. The receptionist was exceptional. Helpful and organised taxi etc. Our breakfast was included and beautiful. Had many meals in the Oak Room and the staff attention to detail was amazing. Would highly recommend.

We had an up grade to an apartment which meant we each had a room, more space & cooking facilities ( everything was there including a dishwasher & washing machine) . The pool was a good size & clean . The bar & restaurant were both wonderful & staff friendly. Breakfast was included in price & had a great selection . All the food we ate at the restaurant was good.

To get to the apartment we had to walk through the bar area & out to the back stairs past a smoking area which wasn’t pleasant with a child or if you wanted to ‘ drip ‘ your way back from the pool. There is a changing room at the pool however .

The car park became a little difficult when non-residents were allowed in to the hotel and the hotel car park at the rear is not good at all and even more confusing the exits away from that rear car park how to get back onto the roads that you originally knew apart from that everything was okay thank you

Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food. On our day of departure we had an early flight and the hotel delivered a continental breakfast to our room which was also very good. The leisure centre was good which was kept clean. Our room was large with all amenities. A free courtesy bus was provided to take us to the center which ran twice a day.

Unfortunately my wife and I like to sleep with the window open which resulted in terrible road noise. Breakfast time could be quite chaotic when it was busy with the staff not replenishing the buffet until asked to do so.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our Superior Double was a large room with a balcony overlooking the garden. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We found several bars, one being used for a private disco / function room, one in the restaurant and another at the bottom of a beautiful wooden spiral staircase winding upwards above a small indoor pool. There were free newspapers and a bookcase full of books you could borrow or exchange close the gym. Also in the Health Suite was a sauna, a steam room and a large indoor heated pool with a small whirlpool section. The changing rooms were clean and there was no cost to use the lockers. The hotel had free parking and also did bus tours around the island, plus it was less than half an hour's walk down the hill into St Peter Port town. The staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was good. The food was freshly cooked to order and you could tweak the menu choices eg exchange the sausage for extra bacon. We would come here again very happily.

Nothing to dislike, and a minor point only as they were perfectly clean and usable but the wooden wardrobes and cupboards in our room were rather dated. Also, in the bathroom, the shower was in the bath which I found was a little difficult to get into because I am short. I prefer walk-in showers for that reason, but I commend the hotel cleaners as the bath, tiles, grout and shower screen seals were immaculate despite being old style.

Great facilities - gym, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Beautiful garden. Hotel always ultra clean and well looked after with fresh flowers and lovely decor. Choice for breakfast was amazing. The courtesy bus and driver Mick made our holiday. Mick was very knowledgeable about the islands and went out of his way to help. He is a real credit to the hotel group he serves.

Struggling to find anything we didn’t like. Lots of transport options if the 20-30 minute walk uphill from the harbour is too much. Easy downhill walk to town takes 20 minutes.

I came back to the island to visit my mum in hospital and was feeling stressed, but the staff eased this with their proffesiinal approach. They were friendly, accommodating and made me feel welcome. The food in the Oak bar was restaurant quality, but reasonably priced. Room service was very quick and my room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities I needed and I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony over looking the beautiful hotel garden first thing in the morning and in the evening. The hotel even organised a taxi to meet me at the airport. I wouldn't hesitant to reccomend.

Everything went well, The staff were always helpful and efficient. The breakfast was amazing and the evening meals in the restaurant were very good. The rooms were clean and a good size.

All the staff were amazing. They were all polite and interactive and nothing was too much trouble. The menu for both breakfast and the evening meal offered a number of options and the food was excellent and reasonably priced as were the drinks. The bedroom was spacious, very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the hotel again and we would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Our only recommendation would be for the breakfast room to be updated.

The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all lovely. Kept really clean. The Hotel itself was a little quirky in design but the staff were without exception polite, cheerful and helpful. We took advantage of a free bus trip around the island which was much better than expected. The room was large but looked old fashioned. Everything was very clean. The food was good if a little expensive. Nice gardens with pétanque court .

On a couple of occasions we were waiting a long time between ordering and receiving our food.
