I really appreciated the peaceful and scenic location of Le Pommier—it offered a perfect escape from the everyday rush. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel special. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local tips. I also enjoyed the on-site dining options and the relaxing atmosphere around the pool. Everything felt well cared for and welcoming.

While I really enjoyed the à la carte breakfast options—which were delicious and well-prepared—I felt the overall breakfast offering could have been more varied. It would have been great to see a wider selection available through an open buffet, especially for guests staying multiple nights. A bit more variety would have made the mornings even more enjoyable.

We booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms had a problem with a really bad odour from the drains. Apparently, this was a known problem. (This was the reason for marking down the cleanliness of the room; this was not a reflection on housekeeping staff, they did a great job) There was a wedding on the weekend of our stay. The wedding party deserved and sounded like they had the best day. Unfortunately, one of the bedrooms was overlooking the party room and a small terrace where the guests were smoking. The music and noise went on until 1am . It would have been helpful if the hotel had allocated both rooms on the other side of the hotel.

The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite a large party also present , orders were served quickly and were of good quality. Excellent choice for breakfast. Car parking adequate and safe, disabled spaces near the main building. Didn’t visit the pool area. Location, near the north west coast, was convenient for lovely beaches

Pathway from the main building to the rear bedrooms was rough and poorly lit after dark. .Area outside the rear bedroom was untidy and needed cleaning and tidying. ‘Four poster' bed was hardly worthy of the name -sorry, but I think you should replace it with a decent headboard to get the appearance of more space.

Lovely room, very comfortable and we appreciated having a bath after our cycle rides. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Coming down to breakfast on our first morning to find staff stressed, not enough tables or cutlery and a limited range of food on table. My husband, who is diabetic needed to eat quickly and was quite happy just to eat a bowl of cereal but could find no bowl or spoon to eat it with. We felt sympathetic with staff who were clearly over-stretched.butit was not what we were expecting. Having just one vegetarian choice on the menu and the same one each night was a disappointment. In fact, that wasn't even available on the third night. I do eat white fish and salmon so was OK but for a strict vegetarian would be very limiting.

The most friendliest and attentive staff you could ever meet. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt as if we were walking into a family and not a business. The room (37) was amazing in size and was really comfortable - super clean too. The food was amazing and well priced. The decor is very modern but not too clinical. We went fot a walk around the nature trail close by - it was a nice change to stay in a hotel out if town. I cannot write everything, but I will be looking to do another staycation again at this venue.

Cannot fault our stay, however, I wasn't keen on the bathroom windows being un-covered. The glass was that ripple effect, but I had to stick a towel in the folding window part to make sure of privacy.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, made every effort both allowing us to park days ahead while we were travelling in Sark, as well as providing breakfast very early when we had to leave to catch the ferry to Jersey. Real effort is made to be sustainable, breakfast was good and had plenty of options. In terms of other comparable places, prices were really good. Drinking water was provided, the restaurant was as good as one can expect for that price!! Great salt and pepper chicken and fries!

One of our rooms did not have functioning air-conditioning for which we were provided with a little table fan. Nor were the windows covered with mosquito nets, which would be better as that would solve that particular problem easily. Also the rooms were not sound proofed so it was extremely noisy, especially in the early mornings with slamming doors and other guests wearing heels.

Excellent accomodation, we stayed in a lovely family room with a kitchenette. Comfortable bed (even the pull-out sofa was comfortable), pillows were too soft for our preference though. A lot of storage room for clothes and personal stuff. Clean and well maintained. The heated swimming pool was excellent, the kids loved it there, especially when they had their lunch by the pool. The food was very, very good, lots of choices for breakfast. Very polite and nice staff. We liked the location, close to Cobo beach, mini-supermarket close by, a bigger one 5 minutes away by car (but the fod was so good we ended up eating at the hotel restaurant many times) Would definetly recommend the hotel!

The family room wasn't necessary very baby friendly, we couldn't get a cot in (we knew about that when we made the booking though) or a high chair (we travelled with a 1 year old). And I personally did not like the air-con system, the unit is in the main bedroom and blows the cool air straight towards the bed and it doesn't really cool properly the room.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and within walking distance to the renowned Cobo Bay, as well as being a short car/bus journey to the main town of St. Peter Port. There was even a hand-written note in the room welcoming me to the hotel, which was a lovely touch.

We were pressed quite noticeably to have dinner at the hotel in a way that was more than the usual 'would you like to book a table for dinner?' which, whilst ultimately leading to a reasonably pleasant meal, it was uncomfortable having it almost forced upon us. The hotel then had the audacity to apply a service charge (or 'corporate begging', as it is better known), rather than leaving it to the customer to provide a tip at their own discretion, leading to us then being put into another uncomfortable position asking the waitress to remove this. We probably would have left a tip of our own volition, but having the decision taken out of our hands by providing us with what is effectively no less than a ransom for additional money meant we decided against doing so.

Our first time on Guernsey and it wont be our last, particularly as we struck gold with this excellent hotel. Checkin was welcoming and smooth (a pleasant change to be shown from reception to the room rather than being left to your own devices). The room itself was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and there was more than enough storage for a weeks stay. The room was warm and the temperature could be adjusted using the in room air con. WiFi and TV worked well. Space in bathroom was well arranged with usual shampoo etc and a good supply of fluffy towels. A kettle with teabags and coffee was also provided. Breakfast each day was excellent. Variously we chose full English, Eggs Benedict, various omelettes. Cereal, cold meats and cheese were also available. Parking was easy in the large car park and the hotel grounds were pleasant and I suspect in spring would be quite spectacular. On our final night (Boxing day) we had a family meal in the restaurant. unfortunately some of the choices on the menu were not available, but the alternatives we very nice. During our stay some flights were grounded by fog and a couple of guests were unable to travel, but the hotel seemed to look after them well. A delightful hotel with great service, I look forward to a return visit.

Food… staff everything was great. If you asked for something,.. it was given. No fuss.

My only problem was… I’m allergic to feathers. I told the hotel and they put non feather on the bed. Great! I woke up in the night sneezing… took an allergy tablet & spray and went back to sleep. Still weezy in the morning. Then I noticed that the bed head had feathers on it. Lots of them… not sure if it was stuffed with feathers or feathers had transferred onto it when they changed the pillows… but there was at least 20 sticking out of the headboard. That is the only problem. Why didn’t I notice it early? I live on guernsey. I was working that day and only had an hour to quick chill and get ready to celebrate our anniversary. I know,,. That if I had mentioned it.. they would have moved us. I just didn’t notice. Hope that helps with any allergy suffers… check the headboard! 😊
