The view was awesome. It wasn't too far to walk into town. Liked eating breakfast in the room at the table in the window. It was clean and there was unlimited tea and coffee. The room was cleaned every day that we stayed. The owners were helpful with information before we arrived. Check in was easy and flexible on timing and entry was 24 hours. There's very little contact with any staff but that was ok for us as it made it feel very relaxed and easy going. The China Red Chinese restaurant a few doors away was excellent, very well cooked and tasty food. The bus stop was right outside to hop on the bus going all the way round the island, both ways.

It was a bit noisy next to the pub and traffic noise but didn't bother us. Water from the sink wasn't very hot for 2 days but again, didn't bother us as the shower was great and hot. The area around the bed was really small so a bit of a squeeze to get in but also made it nice and cosy. A small fridge in the room would've been great.

The room was perfect for my son and I. Good communication on how to check in advance. The beds were very comfortable. It was very clean and well equipped. We had a continental breakfast delivered to our room every morning at 8am. They catered for my allergies needs each morning Consisting of toast, yoghurt, cereal and fruit in a lovely basket. There was plenty of towels and also beach towels were available at reception for our day in Cobo beach. The bus stop is outside the guesthouse and it is very accessible to St Peter’s Port. The view from the guesthouse over the port is lovely. I would recommend this guesthouse

Nothing all 100%

Were up on the top floor. Pretty comfortable bed. There was plenty of room. 15-minute walk to town center or ferry terminal and bus stops right there. Several pubs and restaurants are nearby. Liked the breakfast baskets. Quiet (we didn't face busy street in front).

Wish there were instructions on the shower. It's hard to get it between freezing and boiling. Recommed flow at High and, thinking of temperature dial as a clock, set it to 9. Left a message asking for an early breakfast basket, but no one told the woman preparing them. She was kindly able to give us one though.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this guest house. The room was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Breakfast was a simple continental style — a croissant, cereal, fruit, juice, and yogurt — nicely presented, though there was no choice. The location was excellent, within walking distance of St Peter's Port, which made it very convenient for exploring. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable place to stay, and we would be happy to return.

The only downside was breakfast being served very early at 7:20 a.m. It was left at the door with a knock, which woke us, and on rainy mornings we had to collect it straight away. A choice of delivery time would have made it much more relaxing

The good: fantastic location, you are just a stones through from town and the parking is ample. The breakfast baskets are just the best idea - easy to grab and go, or you can enjoy in the courtyard (weather dependent of course). Amenities within the house are ample, fresh coffee in the morning, water available, tea and coffee facilities, ironing facilities, and LOTS of information about the island. A really, really lovely guest house.

The bad: the bed was just terrible - it pains me to say because we had such a nice stay, but we did not get much sleep. The frame was creaky, the mattress has seen better days - with no where to sit and eat breakfast in the room (we had a small room but there is definitely enough room in there for a small bistro set to sit and eat at) it seems everyone must sit on the edge of the bed which has caused the mattress to dip, you quite literally roll in to the dips and it is uncomfortable. Pillows were awful unfortunately.

The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. We had 2 separate rooms and both were great. There is a lovely outdoor social area downstairs with tables and parasols. Great location with a few car parking spaces outside and a spacious car park a few minutes walk away. The breakfast baskets were a perfect start to the day and had a nice range of items to suit everyone. Particularly liked the range of fruit given on different days. We also really liked the option of a filter coffee in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be staying again.

Ideal location. 15 min walk from the bus terminus. Connects airport. Bus journeys just £1.60 anywhere. Novel b/fast basket perfect idea & perfectly adequate. Room was cosy, comfy bed & pillows, basin, storage space, chair & tables, kettle etc, sockets, & adequate shower with soft fluffy towels. The room, whilst small, was comfortable & adequate for one person. Communications are answered adequately & timely.

Obvious dirty marks on the wall between the two mirrors above basin. Beware the trash cart noisily collects from the rear in the early hours. Some guests allow their doors to slam, rather than shut them quietly. Not clear, upon checking out, to prevent loss, where to leave the key. Whilst it was the peak season, it was nevertheless still very expensive for a guest house, which did not represent good value for money therefore. One staff member was chatty, whilst two others just walked past with no hello.or any acknowledgement at all.

Breakfast was good. Property access 24/7 was very convenient. Location near centre of St Peter Port was also very convenient.

Because we were driving it would have been preferable to have had prior notice of the need for the Guernsey parking clock requirement. We didn’t know about this requirement until we actually got talking to some locals on the ferry over (so we were pre-warned). To help plan the stay / visit, perhaps on the St George’s accom. website there could be a). a map showing where guests can park during their stay (directly out the front or in the overflow parking area) and b). information about the parking clock, the requirement to purchase one, when it is required, and where clocks can be purchased from.

Breakfast - Really appreciated the breakfast basket - a good package component. Room - OK but a bit tight space wise. A fridge would be really appreciated. Location - maybe we missed it but the fact that there is a bus stop almost dierctly outside was a bonus that we discovered almost by accident. It is not marked on bus route maps and the marking on the road is unconventional. Greatly appreciated though.

Our room was directly adjacent the courtyard and other guests were noisy on occasion.

Our stay at st george hotel was excelent. Our key was left at reception, which was very convenient. The room was big, the beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The shower had good water pressure. It had a fan that was really good for us at night. Add needed breeze. The breakfast was realy good and was brought to the door

The stairs are really small. When youre on the top floor, its not easy. Especially with suitcases. Also, i needed the staff, and they were never there. Left a phone number but didnt provide a phone. Dont assume everyone has one. Didnt see them once! Not even when we left.
