We visited La Colinette during a heatwave and the pool was absolutely brilliant to cool down after a busy day exploring this lovely island. The staff were extremely friendly and helped carry my suitcase to our room as I have back problems. The breakfast was excellent and there was continental and cooked breakfast options. The bar was also lively and well staffed

The position of the hotel is at the top of the hill and from St Peter's Port is a 15 minute walk on a steep path. This would be a problem for people with mobility issues.

The staff are undoubtedly the stand out feature of this hotel. Cyril heads an excellent hard working team. Never seen staff so happy to be at work & keen to please customers - residents & locals alike. The hotel is well set back from the road so very quiet with a lovely pool for sunny days. The beds were very comfortable. The food well presented & plentiful.

Although a period building the bedrooms are very dated with single glazing & the fans provided are insufficient to cool rooms when facing the afternoon sun.

Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the service was excellent. The evening meal was only just average and after a few days, trying everything, we gave up and went out. The room was a step above average and the WiFi was good.

The poor sash windows had to be wedged both open and closed. The cleaners fooled us couple of times by leaving the shower hose in a horizontal spray, no joke when you turned it on and showered the floor! The heated towel rail was excellently managed, and the room tidied daily.

We stayed at La Colinette Hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly, the rooms spacious and the overall location (close to St. Peters Port) the exact fit for what we needed. But the food served at La Colinette was probably our highlight: the breakfastroom and bar were charming and the food served excellent. We also had dinner at the hotel almost every day, just right outside in the garden by the pool (you can also dine inside of course). All in all a very pleasant stay!

Nice size twin room with good equipped bathroom. Outdoor pool with a small terrace.

No problems .staff were very helpful and accommodating. During our time there it was sunny and hot. The staff did everything they could to keep the bedroom cool.

Smoker coughing outside the window at 06:00 each morning. Could be very tricky if you aren’t mobile: quiet a few steps. The hotel information didn’t appear to have been updated since 2007!!

Rooms were generous in size, great to have a bath. Staff were extremely lovely, always smiling and attentive. Only 20 mins walk downhill to centre of St Peter Port

Breakfast menu hot options a bit limited for a vegetarian, but chef was accommodating allowing me to pick items from full breakfast instead

Bit far out of the actual town but nice walk Floor and old cupboard squeaked in room but that’s the nature of lovely old place

It was very clean and the rooms were a great size. The pool and decked area were great the food was lovely and drinks were not too expensive . All the staff were lovely very friendly and helpful

Lovely staff, comfortable room. My room had big windows, so nice airy feel. Cosy restaurant with friendly obliging staff. It had a very homely feeling to it.

Noise from the bar until midnight on Friday night due to regular event they hold. No problem unless you like to go to bed before then ( which I do!). Some rooms are probably far enough away not to be affected.
