Good choice at breakfast and always fresh.There was a wide and interesting choice of evening meals and all well presented and good portions. The service and staff professionalism was excellent at all times, friendly and approachable but not familiar. The cleanliness was of a high standard and there was a happy ambience around the hotel.

The bar area would probably benefit from being modernised and more attractive to customers to sit in and enjoy a drink with friends, although it's cosy enough in the winter maybe! Also, apart from the outside space to sit and enjoy the view, there is not a socially conducive seating area in the reception.

Very helpful staff, always friendly and welcoming. Excellent service, pleasant rooms and very clean and comfortable. Lovely feather pillows. Brilliant chef. The food was delicious. Fantastic sea views over Cobo Bay.

The duvet was much too hot for summer so we took it out of its cover and slept under the cover with a blanket over it. A little fridge would have been nice, as would fresh bottled water every day, and we only have had the lovely homemade biscuits on the first day. We kept hoping!

Very happy with Cobo Bay Hotel. The staff are excellent, attentive and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fine. Room was well equipped for normal weather but very hot at times, AC would have been nice but a fan was of some benefit. The bathroom was clean and shower excellent. Would happily return. Location is beautiful, overlooking looking the bay and the sunset was spectacular. Public transport is fine on the island (it's only small) and cheap, so we got around comfortably.

It was a pricey, though not excessively. After all, they do like to present a good standard of facility and service, and I do realise it was high season.

Outside- the views over the rocky coastline were first rate, although the setting sun disappeared into the sea mist when we were there, sitting in the outside bar. Inside- the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A fan cooled us at night. We found the breakfast to be ample and of high quality. We had dinner there one night and the menu was superbly executed. Getting ice for our room was a breeze. Lovely staff. So very attentive.

Staff were very efficient and welcoming, especially in the dining areas. Impressed how immaculately the waiter/waitresses were turned out in their white shirts and beige chinos everyday. The location is overlooking Cobo Bay is lovely, hearing the waves at night is so calming.The food was exceptional, we ended up eating either outside on the comfortable terrace area or the dining room every night of our 4 night stay bar one night, and we're bowled over by the quality of the cooking and tasty menus. Breakfast was delicious too. Our room was large and comfortable, and cleaning staff could not have been more accommodating. The maintenance man rescued an expensive mouthguard we dropped down the sink by accident in minutes. Loved our stay, thank you to all the staff. We will be back.

Everything was excellent. The location directly at the amazingly beautiful Cobo beach is just perfect. My room was huge, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable bed. The staff are all very friendly and remember the little things like how you prefer your breakfast. The food at the restaurant is very good. And again, all the staff are very friendly and attentive. For example, I always get rid of the paper straws in my drinks, because I hate that soaking paper in my drinks. I didn‘t say a word about it, but from the second drink onwards I was always the only one who got drinks without a straw in it. It is a only a little detail , but to me that kind of service is the mark of a really good hotel/restaurant.

The staff were all exceptional. The breakfast was excellent. Cobo Bay is a wonderful environment and provided a great outlook from the hotel. We stayed for 12 days, the service provided was consistently good, all the staff we had dealings with were helpful, courteous and always had a smile.

Between the front of the hotel and the beach was a very busy road. Speed limits on the roads of Guernsey are a maximum of 35 so its not dangerous but it is intrusive.

All the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. I had a lovely quiet room on the back of the hotel, but sitting in the dining room, the view was spectacular. Apart from breakfast, I had an evening meal on two of the nights and the food was excellent.

My only problem was that I was too hot in bed. I think that the duvets are winter-weight, and the weather was very warm during my stay.

Excellent location. Next to the beach and amenities close by. As I was a solo female traveller I was treated with respect and I felt safe. There were also several other solo female traveller during my stay.

No refrigerator in the room. You can get one at an extra daily cost ! The fire alarm went off on two separate occasions in the early hours.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We are so pleased we chose a sea view. The menu was extensive and the food was prepared to a very high standard. Above all, the staff were so efficient, courteous and welcoming. It all made for a most relaxing and pleasant holiday.

The road past the hotel was a little noisy at times, but this was a minor issue that the hotel has no control over and did not detract from all that was good about this hotel.
