The breakfast was lovely although limited choice unless you were prepared to pay a supplement. We used the buses which were convenient and walked to Vazon and Côbo bays. The bed was very comfortable and the fittings modern and clean. It was a shame the pool wasn’t open. That information should maybe be included on the booking information.

The addition of a small fridge in the room would be great and bottles of water would be appreciated. The shower controls were difficult to use although that might be because they are new. Maybe some extra lighting in the restaurant as it could appear a little gloomy.

It's a nice building with old, character features and quite good facilities given It's age. The staff are lovely and the WiFi is fast, with good coverage. The restaurant and bar are great too, nice selection of food and the breakfasts are well done too.

Some of the fixtures are a little tired, the TV in the room is tiny, and the bath had no plug. Despite being in a lovely location, the lane outside is a racetrack in the evenings with frequent, loud, fast cars and straightpiped bikes hurtling through. From the early hours the tractors, HGVs and buses start... this isn't the fault of the hotel - but if you have a room facing the road be prepared for a poor night's sleep.

Lovely location and lovely hotel, an old Guernsey farmhouse that has been extended and modernised over the years. The suite (bedroom, lounge and two bathrooms) was well worth the free upgrade if it is available. Be careful if you have mobility issues, the first circular staircase is ok but the second circular staircase leading to the two suites has very narrow treads and could be a problem, we asked for our small suitcases to be taken to the room and this was no problem at all. Lovely breakfast and very polite and attentive staff.

The swimming pool looked great but definitely needed some attention, there was a lot of algae on the floor of the pool and also some large chunks of the concrete had come away from the floor of the pool. The water was warm as it is solar heated and the weather had been very sunny but just didn't want to swim because of the reasons above.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food and service were excellent throughout our stay and our room was very comfortable. The hotel were particularly understanding and helpful when we had to curtail our stay by 24 hours due to the cancellation of our ferry crossing on the final day due to anticipated adverse weather conditions.

The only improvement we would have liked was a better handrail on the spiral staircase leading to our bedroom.

The hotel was in a great location, close to St Peter Port and also the beaches. We had one of the suites on the top floor, take care when booking as the spiral staircase to the suites has narrow treads not easy to negotiate but on request the staff took our cases up to the room and down again

The swimming pool has algae over the bottom of it and chunks of concrete had come out, the paving around the pool was also very uneven.

Breakfast was very good, with good choice, great service, and a very pleasant room. Evening meal equally good, with good choice and lovely surroundings. We had to stay longer than expected due to adverse weather, so had to change rooms. Both rooms were well appointed and clean, and good size. Staff handled our extended stay very efficiently and considerately. The staff are excellent, especially Marmeen, Lotis and Shiv (apologies for any spelling mistakes!) who looked after us very well indeed throughout our stay.

Noise disturbance is a minor problem, with passing traffic and noise from restaurant/bar occasionally noticeable.

Tucked away not in the middle of a town. Popular pub with locals not just tourists so busy but better that than too quiet. Old world feel (even if some of the decor was actually fake) but all modern facilities. Good breakfasts and food generally.

Only downside to our garden room was that other visitors could and did pass by our window/patio doors and look into the room while we were in there. May have been just particularly nosy and rude couple but perhaps some sort of screen could be erected to direct people away from doing this.

The staff were very friendly from the minute we arrived and were always happy to help with any request. Breakfast availability in general was very good but occasionally some things were in shorter supply. The room was comfortable and clean and adequate for a longer stay (13 nights).

The car park when events were on either in the hotel or in the gardens became over crowded and not easy to negotiate at times. Trying to have a bath in the late afternoon, produced only a luke warm supply of water. Delivery vehicles arriving around 5am, disturbed our sleep and could perhaps have been re-scheduled till later in the morning.

The lovely rustic theme in bar and restaurant continues in bedrooms but with comfort in mind and smart, modern facilities. The staff were wonderful; friendly, thoughtful in predicting our needs and very efficient. We received a lovely warm welcome from Yel.

Only one negative - there was no drinking water provided in our room. We didn't notice until bedtime and the mixer tap water did not run cold. It was inconvenient, many people take medication, or like water during the night. We purchased a bottle next day but an excellent hotel like the Fleur should provide it as standard.

The hotel was lovely as so were the staff- I was travelling with my daughter who has complex needs inc autism. The staff were brilliant with her. The breakfast was fab great choice. The food in general at the hotel was stunning it is open to outside guests as are many hotels on the island. The room was lovely, service +staff all great!

The only downside was that the heating system to the pool wasn't working when we arrived. One reason why booked. However the weather hotted up past few days so pool though a tad chilly was quite refreshing on those hot days! 👍
