This is the third time we stayed in this hotel. The hotel is located in the center of the village. We had a very nice bright room with view on the church in the back of the hotel. Excellent a la carte breakfast in the morning with a choice of avocado smash, fungi, salmon and much more. Additional buffet with fresh berries, yoghurt, strawberries and more. Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean. Bucket with ice cubes on request. They just opened a restaurant with Mexican type food in the hotel. Grocery store nearby. Free use of refrigerator in common area.
Only one chair in the room. We had to get another one from the hallway.

The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the high street, nothing too far away, the food was excellent, bar was lively, nothing not to dislike really
Having to ask for additional tea and coffee and toilet rolls, it seemed like these were coming out of the pocket of the staff, never really satisfied over this, no where for towel's to dry, therefore when asked for replacements these did take an extra day, therefore using damp towels is not really acceptable, perhaps investing in towel rails, just really bad house keeping overall.

The room was a bit buger and nicer than we expected and there was a powerful ahower above the bath. The liating online juat says bath and atill has covid measures . Slightly strange to jot meet any hotel staff at all. Luckily a waitress from the restaurant part of it could give us a master key as the key given wouldn't let us back into our room!
Buffet breakfast was basic and not much fresh seasonal fruit. The raspberries ran out second day. The Cantina choices were great and tasty and the two staff delightful

Situation of the hotel was an excellent base for touring around the island from. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The room was spacious and comfortable
Would have liked some information about the hotel in the room. It was on a blackboard downstairs, which meant several extra trips up and down the stairs to view it. Breakfast could have been made even better with some toast and jam or marmalade perhaps?

Breakfast was great, a good selection of traditional and alternative fayre with attentive staff. Room was huge with really comfy beds and the shower was powerful and easy to use
Coffee could have been served in a mug rather than a glass which made it too hot to handle. Bathroom would be fantastic if only there was a mirror so you can see when shaving and a shelf to place toiletries would be beneficial too.

It is hard for this hotel to be more central as it's on the main street and right next to the church. Our room was large and the bathroom, which had excellent toiletries, was larger than most. We arrived before check in time but were looked after with no problems. The breakfast was excellent and the man who looked after us (Mark?) could not have been kinder. We didn't try the pub next door, although it seemed popular.
The shower was in the bath.

Convenient location, large twin bed room with great bathroom overlooking the entrance to the church yard was quiet - (we were out of season before the bar/pub opened but I suspect that rooms over the bar and overlooking the street would not be so quiet in season). Staff were always obliging and friendly although the laid-back style might not suit everyone it was fine for us. Out of season breakfasts taken across the road at PJs (from 9am) were very good as were the two breakfasts taken at the hotel's cafe at the "airport"! Very kindly they kept our room on the day the wind was too much for our flight to leave and the rate for that B&B night was very reasonable. Very good value for money overall.
Some details but nothing too significant for us - the longlife milk portions in the room needed replacing but there was fresh milk in the fridge downstairs so no big issue. We had to ask for replacement coffee/tea/biscuits in the room. 9am start for breakfast could have been inconvenient but seemed pretty standard for Alderney out of season and just made us slow down a bit more! Mattress on the bed nearest the window could do with being replaced - not so comfortable.

Ideally located- just a quick trip either from the airport or the harbour if arriving by plane or ferry. Lovely, spacious room and a very sweet hotel which has been recently taken over. The breakfast was really good- freshly cooked to order with great choices. Toiletries in the rooms were above and beyond and the room was huge!!! Nespresso coffee machine in room and cold bottled water in reception. I felt very safe and loved my stay there. I would recommend this place to anyone and will return

Partner and I stayed in room 102, upstairs but close to reception. A lovely large carpeted room which contained a large comfy double bed with duvet and lots of pillows. Plug sockets and lamp on each side of bed. Comfy couch next to the bed. Spacious, En-suite bathroom with toilet with paper, large sink and shower in a bath. Hand and bath towels included in room. Tea/coffee with milk and sugar included in room with a sall kettle. Full English breakfast, plus other food choices included in room price. Lovely, helpful, friendly staff. Allowed to check-out late at no extra cost. Good speed free WiFi in room. Breakfast surved downstairs in a separate room. Hotel in centre of St Anne's town, next a farmer's shop and close to the main church and other small shops. St Anne's is a quiet, friendly, peaceful town. Likewise, Alderney Island is a safe, peaceful small friendly island with some history and attractions. Alderney has a small airport and can also be reached by ferry from Guernsey.
Part of the room floor slopes slightly. No lift to upper floors. Reception officially closes at 8 pm.
