Lobby service upgraded me for free to another higher room in the corner the next morning so I had a quieter night. Gym is nice with water bottle station. Room is clean, has lots of space, and is intelligently designed for the traveling millennial -- pumps for shower toiletries (less waste), space to do body exercises with a yoga mat (if you don't want to use the gym), minimalist desk, plugs and USB ports near the bed, spacious closet, comfy bed, Do not Disturb sign hangs on the wall outside your room so you don't have to mess with a flimsy door hanger. Dog treats at the front desk.
A lot of construction and the fire department just outside the building. A loud party going on the second to last night of my stay on the same floor, as well as loud irregular thumps from the above floor. Called lobby service to call security a few times, but ruckus continued.

The rooms are really nice: spatious and with really nice bathrooms and beds. Everything was very clean. We liked being downtown right in the mill district. The staff were uniformly very friendly, professional, and helpful.
There was a lot of gross trash in the small private parking garage. I mentioned this and it was promptly picked up. I'd love to see the restaurant offer a more diverse menu. The ventilation system in the bathroom was peculiarly loud.

We came to Minneapolis for a concert at the Armory and the location of the hotel was perfect! Only a couple of blocks away from the venue. The staff was also very friendly and our room was great for the occasion. If you're driving your own vehicle, make sure you get there early as their on-site parking is extremely limited, maybe 20 some spots, and is first come first serve. Also a 21+ hotel apparently.

As a busy hotel there was often a wait for the elevators and unfortunately the skywalk was not accessible, however these weren't huge issues at all - just things we noticed in our time there.

property was listed as being .2 miles from the theater we were going to, that was incorrect, it was actually.9 miles. We planned our timeline and walking on the .2 mile distance, it was a cold run in dress clothes to make the start of the show and an unsettling walk home, streets didn’t feel all that safe.

My stay at the Radisson Red Hotel was indeed a dream stay. It gave me comfort away from home when I needed it the most. I went there because of some issues that I was dealing with where I live. I had great peace there. I loved the staff people. They were very kind and very helpful. I thought the hotel was very attractive. Very clean. I loved the look of the room with the artwork on the wall.

Clean, basic accommodations. Nothing extra, nothing missing. Room was comfortable and quiet. Security is good (even lobby access requires a room key card).
1. It is not possible to use the stairs to go up to your room. Using the elevator is required. In the age of COVID, it's important that I not be forced into a confined space with other guests. 2. $50/day deposit for "incidentals". Since the restaurant was closed and the room did not have a mini-bar, there are no possible incidental charges. I didn't like being charged a deposit for something that both the hotel employee and I knew was ridiculous.
