It’s the little details that makes this property uniquely wonderful. From the picture perfect landscaping, to the reading books perfectly placed on a shelf in the room, to the east listening ET and classical music playing in the lobby when grabbing your breakfast. And the rooms were very clean!

We were in room 115 and unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep at all due to a very squeaky bed above our room that literally squeaked loudly all through the night up to 6:45am when they left the room. Since we love everything else about this site, we know to not get a room with a floor above. I can’t imagine they got much sleep either given the noise of the bed(s).

Quiet, comfortable, nice location, clean, good bed. We felt great there, communicative and polite staff, willing to help and explain everything without being too assertive. We felt at home. The place has some old-fashioned charm that is hard to explain. Definitely our place to stay the next time we come to LA area.

The first impression was that the room was rather old and should be renovated This feeling was actually significantly reduced after a day or two, to be honest everything in the room and hotel actually functioned correctly - but it would still be nice to see the new furniture and especially bathroom modernized.

The location on Route 66 as we were driving from Chicago to LA The room was comfortable, clean and spacious The lady on reception was friendly, helpful and chatty A few home made items added to the normal breakfast range was a nice touch. Very clean and inviting pool. The best we have seen to date on our trip.

The breakfast room is rather cosy making selecting your breakfast slightly uncomfortable with very limited space to sit. We chose to eat around the pool in the shade which to be fair was quite nice No hot water supply in the rooms for tea or coffee was disappointing

We absolutely loved how it is a historic spot on Route 66! It was comfortable and classy. The lobby had wonderful/comfortable classical music playing and they have a GREAT tea selection and coffee. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. We arrived late and the night clerk was extremely friendly. The girl who was working in the morning was very sweet as well! We stayed in the king room, and thought the mattress was comfortable! AC/worked great! Pool area was pretty with nice flowers and pretty palms. You could tell there was high security with cameras everywhere- including the parking lot - that is a huge bonus- this place is SAFE The soaps/shampoos and LOTIONS were very very good!! Overall, it was a great stay- and we will return if we are ever back in the area.

We wished there was a coffee maker in the room, but the lobby coffee and tea was incredible. The room was stuffy when we first arrived, but the A/C cleared that up. Unfortunately the elevator was down when we arrived, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

I stayed there for the Rose Bowl/Rose Parade. The hotel is directly on the route of the parade. I have never been to Pasadena before and did not know what to expect. You are able to get a decent view of the parade from the street but there are plenty of options nearby to purchase bleacher seating. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was good, especially on the day of the parade when all the nearby restaurants are very busy. We were able to walk to the Rose Bowl from the hotel which might be too far for some. But there is a shuttle nearby that was available. Had a great stay.

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, breakfast was great couldnt eat in so got us to take to our rooms, location on Colorado blvd was great walked to Target. & pool was great under the sun!!! & place was really quiet!

I loved the staff and the location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants made the stay very comfortable.

There were little bug friends in some parts of the bathroom but it’s too be expected during the summer months I guess.

This motel is an architectural masterpiece, specifically designed for drivers. The driveway and parking lot are designed to wind through the property in a way that directs the gaze towards aesthetically pleasing sights at every turn, including the immaculate modern buildings and lush desert landscaping. The motel’s curated visual experience makes the relatively small property feel expansive and intriguing. So cool! This is Southern California charm at its finest. The room was very comfortable and cute.

When we were checking in, the lobby was locked, so we had to ring a doorbell just to get into the lobby. The receptionist answered the door by asking if we were there to check in, and only after I said yes did he let us in. I was confused why he asked us that question, rather than just letting us in. It wasn’t even that late, and we looked completely presentable. After 8 hours of driving, that interaction made me feel a little bit unwelcome. Also, the shower head was very loud and was not centered in the tub, and it could not be adjusted in any direction. (Room 213) In the morning, the breakfast was pre-packaged pastries, and that was it. No coffee at all, which is crazy. We had to buy coffee, which cost us time and money on a tight schedule.
