10 minutes from the airport, had a comfortable first night in LA here. Room was renovated and clean. Bed was comfortable and there were enough parking spaces. There were enough restaurants close by to have a quick dinner.

The neighbourhood was not great. Lot of homeless people and noise at the beginning of the night. At late night it is quiet so for us it was not that big of a deal.

The bed was super comfortable, I miss it lol!!! I liked that the TV had lots of options to watch and the bathroom was a good size. Also the window was perfect for extra lighting since the lights in the room were a little dim. Afternoon staff super nice and friendly!

The AC took a while to turn on and keep the room cold, which was a minor issue. My big problem was Sunday morning I went up to the front desk because we didn't have any more towels and we wanted to ask that while we were out if they can give us more towels, remake the bed if possible and clean the room since there was sand everywhere. The girl in the front desk was okay and she paged over our room for service... well when we returned nothing was done. Monday morning my boyfriend had to go ask for towels while I was in the shower since we didn't have any.

The fact that it was the first hotel I found via booking, then after I completed the booking I called to verify/confirm it, because it was 1am and our flight had just been cancelled after repeatedly being delayed. But the staff were super helpful and very knowledgeable about the property. Then I called back because I saw they offered an airport shuttle and since our flight had just been cancelled and we are from Utah we were stranded and we included me, my wife and our 2 daughters. So I was informed that they do have a shuttle but didn't have a driver that day. But not to worry because they had a cab company that they work with and they would pay for the taxi if I used that company, that was music to my ears. When we arrived the same lady who I had talked on the phone with was working at the front desk, and she got us on the list for the airport shuttle the following morning, then she continued to be extremely helpful until we went to our room, and she was still working when we checked out and were waiting for the shuttle. I'll definitely be going back to this property. It was by far the best in every way possible of a hotel we stayed at on our vacation. So a big thumbs up to Travelodge LAX and your amazing overnight host on July 31st-August 1st 2023

Absolutely nothing. After the hotels we stayed at and the horrible experiences we had to go through during our vacation. This place was absolutely amazing. I will say a continental breakfast would have been nice but those are harder to come by. They had coffee and a huge vending machine that you can buy food to heat up in the microwave if needed.

I love the modern updated feel and look and no carpeting. I love how the pool was available anytime (just not heated so we chose not to go in during our visit) but it looked very and smelled very clean. Staff was always lovely and helpful and available. The room was so cozy, we slept like rocks all night long each night. It is located next door to 7-11 gas station and to Ihop restaurant which is super convenient! Its an easy walk to catch the bus out front and then connect to the train. Its a 5 min drive to the airport. And its only a 5 min drive to Kevin Hart's new Hart House restaurant which is sooooo gooood! Its absolutely the best price and the best location. It cant be beat! Free airport shuttle was very nice! I shouldn't even be leaving this good of a review cuz its gonna drive up the demand and prices for this awesome hotel hahaha. Book it you- you will be very happy :) I will gladly stay again if I return to California.

Honestly I dont think this hotel deserves any negatively criticisms after the great stay that we had there. And I am pretty picky ;)

The hotel is pretty close to the airport, but quite far to LA attractions especially during rush hour when the LA traffic gets crazy. The room had a comfortable size and bed. As I had to check out by 11 am but my flight was in the evening, I asked to store my luggage in the property. I was told to use a storage app which, however, showed that the hotel storage was fully booked. I told the lady at the reception who allowed me to store my luggage in the staff room by charging $5 and deducting it from my deposit. Very friendly and easy!

One part of the property is located on the opposite side of the street. My room was on the ground floor, I needed to keep the curtain closed all the time as people could have seen my room from the outside. I have not felt very safe. I could smell weed over night and hear neighbor’s talking and walking around.

Hotel is close to south side of airport (most hotels are on north side) which canbe reached in 5 minutes shuttle ride (mind that trafic can be very slow inside the LAX inner loop). I had a large room, large good bed and pillows. Good bathroom. Large new TV. Kettle with coffee and tea. On the south side you only have very limited food options at walking distance, such a gaz station store, a Carl Jr. and a Chicken a pull.

The hotel single shuttle van to the airport only runs once every hour. When you arrive at LAX you must call the hotel and ask to be picked up otherwise you the van will not come around. Don´t complain to shuttle driver because he will be rude to you. The hotel room windows don´t insulate enough against outside noise, it is better to get a room facing the inner court yard than the street.

Exterior of hotel a bit drab, but, our room was spacious, clean and updated. No hot water in the morning was a bit dismaying. Close to several take-out restaurants, but, no dinner restaurant options with a liquor license within walking distance. Great neighbourhood behind the hotel for an enjoyable long walk. Free airport shuttle was great. All in all a good pic for our needs as we were just staying overnight to catch a flight in the afternoon the next day.

Outstanding location. Fast food & various restaurants nearby & walking distance. Mini mart & gas next door with everything you need. The office/lobby area has everything in the way of drink & food available but if you do want more affordable option then I recommend the mini mart next door but in terms of selections and quantity, I've never seen any hotel anywhere with the quality & availability of food & drink outside of restaurant options etc microwave & fridge in rooms. Staff is extremely helpful & kind & pool, facilities & rooms are very clean. By far my all time favorite hotel for the price I've enjoyed staying at.

That it wasn't free....he,he! Honestly there wasn't a single thing I could complain about.

Price was good. I was in transit and stopped for overnight rest. It was only a short trip to the airport and the shuttle service was very good - prompt and friendly. I also liked how clean the room was; small but tidy. Very good location for short stay with no car: near mini mart, chick filet and 24 hour I-hop. Desk people were friendly and efficient. My go to place for overnighters in transit.

Air conditioning sound and adjusting to right temperature. Finally, just turned it off in middle of night when temperature went down a bit.

Close to LAX so fast to and from the airport. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, clean and nice.

The only issue was no airport shuttle driver on arrival. The staff recommended local independent taxi whom they would reimburse, but the taxi company had only computer automated service - couldn't talk to anyone, so ended up paying for uber delivery to the hotel. It was $50 because at the time only expensive ubers were available. (Early morning uber to lax was only $11.) Need a better backup system for the airport shuttle if you are going to advertise the shuttle service.
