The room was clean, and the bed was super comfy! Great location for getting to and from LAX, without being so close that you’re woken up by airplanes all night. No major complaints, especially given than it’s significantly less than most of the other hotels in the area and just as nice. The value for what you get is excellent :)

Breakfast is continental but isn’t free. It’s actually $20, which seems like a pretty steep price to pay for, essentially, a bagel, even by LA standards. Lots of reasonably priced food options in the area though, so not that big of a deal.

Both of the reception staff were fantastic and helpful under stressful circumstances.

You should be absolutely clear about the name of this hotel!! There is a Sonesta and a Sonesta Select and it is extremely confusing. After 40 hours of traveling and a stressful walk to find the red sign to airport shuttles I was pleased to get on one only to be delivered to the wrong hotel. This added to stress under the difficult reasons for my travel for my mother is dying. I then was not offered any means to get to the other hotel and was hysterical.

bed was so comfortable, and loved how so many things was near this hotel

i didnt like how during the 6 nights nobody came to clean our room or take out trash or change sheets, but other than that everything was amazing

Friendly staff. Nice size rooms

Nothing was open . They had no shuttle. Pool was closed. We picked hotel because of shuttle and they had a Starbucks and bar inside but it was closed. Even though other hotels were offering same thing and facilities were open.

The hotel is clean , modern, nice gym small breakfast bar with reasonably priced food such as bagels, muffins oatmeal.yogurt fruit plate good coffee. Well located. Staff pleasant Great bed.

They have a new policy of no maid service unless you request. No bed making, trash emptying or fresh towels. On day 2 of 4 I asked for towels and trash, they left a bag on door knob of towels..nothing else done. This policy should be stated & explained up front. Otherwise good value for a modern nice hotel. Pretty pool as well.

Fitness room, pool area, and nice size room and church for comfort.

I didn’t like that I saw a roach in the hallway. It was just one roach and he was on his back squirming. I asked the cleanup person to discard it before my husband saw it and snapped. To the property’s advantage, I think someone came in with that roach because it was the only one I saw in the entire hotel. & the microwave in lobby could be updated. Also, this hotel also has a pending charge of the same amount that was already taken from me. Leaving my account in the negatives. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

The pool and garden area were lovely. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was excellent and drivers very helpful.

Would have been good to have some more food options on-site. The Starbucks was great but is only available in the morning. We arrived quite late in the evening and weren't up to walking to over to the in and out burger (not too far from Sonesta). The lift didn't work a couple of times while we were there including check out so I had to carry the bags downstairs- better than carrying them up though!

The room was spacious, clean, and resourceful. The bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel also arranged for free shuttle transport to the airport, which was very helpful. It was a comfortable stay. The location was great for travel to the airport (10mins away without traffic), but a little away from the city center.

The presence of multiple hotels with the name 'Sonesta' was very confusing and led us and a few other travelers to go to the wrong destination a couple of times. This hotel was located away from the more bustling areas, so it felt a little isolated at night.

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the internet was good. The pool was nice, and the location is very good if you're looking to stay close to LAX airport.

Even though we scheduled the shuttle to the airport a day in advance and were told it would be there at the time we requested, it was more than half an hour late. And something quite silly is that there was just coffee in the room, no tea. And when we asked at the reception we were told just that. I guess they could've offered us a teabag or two, but it seems they just didn't have any.
