I liked the aesthetics of the room and entire hotel. Parking was good as well. Staffing were friendly and helpful.

Not crazy about the pillows and mattress. It was too soft for my liking and the pillows went flat real quick once I laid my head down.

Check in went smoothly, and the staff overall was very nice! Rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious.

I went down to grab a coffee at the restaurant before I left. The service was abysmal. I'm not sure if she was just too busy for the amount of work she had, but the server said hi to me twice while rushing around. She never did get around to taking my order, I had to leave. She kept rushing around and serving no one. They also only had 1 person manning the desk in the morning, which made it a bit stressful, knowing you have a flight to catch but having to wait 15 minutes because they're away.

I love staying at this hotel because it’s nice for the price.

I was told parking was $20 and ended up paying $20 per night. Even after I stated what I was told I still had to pay the $60

Rooms were clean and looked nice. The breakfast was good value for price (considering what we've paid at other LA hotels). The staff was polite and helpful. They had parking for our moving truck and the car it towed (small charge for parking, but well worth it for us).

Pet fee was quite high. Overall rather on the pricier side once everything (pet, parking, breakfast, etc.) is taken into account. Location was good for us, but not necessarily great overall.

Clean room, nice accommodations, friendly and responsive staff. One minor problem was fixed quickly. When I mentioned I had problems acquiring the car rental, staff offered to contact the portal rental agency for us. When it was time to leave the staff called is scheduled cab for us.

Batteries were dead in room safe – could have been double checked before we booked the room. – Minor issue. Breakfast was fair, but waitress was absent-minded – had to ask a few times for my condiments for my Meal. Water pressure is very low from the the bathroom sink. The shower was a modern design without a door but the class could be done extended a touch more as water splashed past the door into the floor.

Rooms were clean and quiet.

Bathroom lighting is poor. Should have an option to make brighter for old eyes. Custodial cleaned my room mid week, They took away my hand soap at the sink and did not replace it. I used the shower soap for the remainder of my stay. Not sure why they did this. I stayed on the 5th floor in 535. There is definite floor creaking noises from the room directly above. I could hear it over the tv frequently and early in the mornings before 4 am. whenever there was movement above.

We did not realize when booking this stay that there would not be a bellman to load our luggage and take it and unload it in the room. We did however tell the lady at the desk that we could not physically do this and we requested she get someone to help us. She did get one of the men from Maintenace to come and help us. The problem was resolved but I need that service everywhere we stay. I will have to see if that is available before booking again. Thanks, Phyllis Mitchell

We booked this hotel at the last moment after spending a terrible first of 3 planned nights at another hotel. The Cambria was above and beyond our expectations. It's not cheap, but we loved the stylish design of the rooms and the technical gimmicks (a bathroom mirror with LED and Bluetooth - how cool is that?). Staff was friendly, and the whole hotel including the pool was nice and clean. Although it is close to LAX in an industrial/office area, we did not notice any plane noise and slept very well.

Parking is extra and though other hotels are more expensive, that's kind of a bummer.

Some minor damage including a shelf in the shower that was damaged and repaired in a crooked fashion The blanket on the bed had dark stains on it, looks like someone put their luggage on the bed and never got the stains out. It was covered by another blanket so not as noticeable. Cleanliness could be improved but by no means was it filthy. Perfectly reasonable stay given the cost we paid and the location.
