The hotel is very close to the airport and, since I had a 6am flight, it made a lot of sense to stay there for my very short stay. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was extremely nice and professional. All in all, this property has a relaxing and airy vibe that will suit anxious travelers. I am not one of them, but I almost felt on vacation, even though I was on a business trip! Also, the airport shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes, which is extremely convenient.

The free wifi was spotty at best, which was surprising for such a modern hotel. And this hotel also has a policy of charging $100 for early check-in, like more and more properties. I think this is not right and if a room is ready for a guest to check in, then they should be allowed to have it when they arrive. As a very frequent business traveler, I have sometimes had to wait in the lobby for a room to become available, and I completely understand that. But to charge someone extra, just because their flight arrives at a certain time is simply not right…. (And I worked for 5 years in a hotel as a receptionist, so I have LOTS of opinions about how a hotel should be run! LOL)

The airport shuttle really does come every few minutes. This was great as we had to leave at 4 am to get to the airport. The room was very clean with great beds and so quiet. Also the check in staff were quick and friendly. Our dinner down in the bar was very reasonably priced for a hotel and delicious. (a terrific Greek salad). The service was excellent. Altogether so convenient and a pleasant short stay to break the trip between Australia and the East Coast of the USA

The rooms were a little grey. Maybe slightly more of a different tone would be nice, but really that is minor, just to say something!

From some of the other reviews, I was concerned about the shuttle being very full or difficult to catch. We managed to get it after a 15 min wait or so. It was fine. The hotel and room were perfectly fine for a short stay. Would definitely come back.

Room was clean. Good shower, bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good city view.

The hotel shuttle bus driver was not the most helpful nor conversant. No greeting, no instructions on arrival at the hotel. I had to ask around to find my way from the car park to the hotel (I was disoriented as this was my first time). Given that this is an airport hotel, it would be ideal to have options for in room dining after 11.00 pm. My flight got in just after 11.00 pm, and the only option was the 'market' or convenience store for sandwiches (fortunately there was a dietary option that suited me).

Friendly staff, they were always asking if I would like my room cleaned when I saw them cleaning on my floor. Front desk was really nice as well. I really appreciated getting water and late check out no problems! the gym and room was really great.

My only complaint is this one particular shuttle driver was rude. I tried to say thank you 2x around 1130pm I think it was Friday night or Saturday night He was mad that he picked me up a little after the red shuttle area. I flagged him after my shift to be exact 11:45pm. But on the other hand Gary was super amazing! So helpful and great personality. He worked in the day. I was taking the shuttle back and forth into Tom Bradley for work each day. I also wish the bar was open after 11pm. I finished work at 11:30pm each day so I never had a chance to get a glass of wine at the bar.

Free 24-hour shuttle service to and from LAX that does not have to be prearranged. Just stand in the designated area and wait a couple of minutes. Checking in and out was easy, and I was offered late check-out as I arrived at night. Staff was knowledge and friendly. I was even able to store my larger luggage upon check-in rather than having to unnecessarily haul it to and from the room for just the one night. Rooms were large and clean. There were enough decent-quality toiletries provided that I barely needed to unpack to shower. Bed was so very, very comfortable. Despite being able to see the LAX sign from the room, I never heard a single airplane.

Breakfast seemed expensive, as is the case with most hotels, so i elected to eat elsewhere.

It was close to the airport with 24h shuttles. We arrived after an early morning long haul flight and had a wonderful meal next to reception. Check in was smooth and all staff were very pleasant. We had a top floor (floor 10) king bed at the end of the hall. It was extremely quiet and we didn’t hear anyone. The room was very clean with lots of room. Very comfortable bed with nice water pressure in the shower. Walking distance (.9 miles) to shops/restaurants/groceries(Ralf’s). Breakfast was amazing. Very well presented buffet with friendly servers. The coffee was excellent and the smoked salmon was a pleasant surprise. Although a bit pricey, the convenience of its location and top notch hospitality made for a wonderful stay.

This was my second stay at Hyatt Regency LAX. I really like that it is in walking distance from the terminals. But there is also a shuttle to reach the hotel. The check in was easy (important after a 12 and a half hour flight). I received again my requested upper floor room. There is a bar and a small market. There is also the possibility for a breakfast buffet in the morning. A Subway and coffee shop are in walking distance. The room was fine, you can choose your temperature with the AC and it was quiet. It is a great place to stay for a flight the next day. There is also an outdoor swimming pool.

Initial problems at check in as the hotel had cancelled our booking! However, our room was still available and we were checked in quickly. The room was excellent - we were overlooking a busy road junction and, just beyond, the airport, but there was no external noise noticeable in the room at all! Facilities were very good. We ate in the bar area on the evening we arrived, and had breakfast the next morning - both meals were very good. But the highest of our praises go to the staff. Every single one of them that we met were a credit to the hotel - from the guy on reception sorting out our cancelled booking, to the restaurant staff, houseeepers, check out staff and valet parking crew...a fantastic team of people providing great service. We won't hesitate to book this hotel again next time we need to stay near LAX!
