The location as there is nothing around and there's an area that felt unsafe with all the homeless and their RVs.

I wasn't sure how updated the facilities would be, photos can always be deceiving, but i was very happy to see the room matched the photos and the king bed was SO NICE. I didn't realize I would be extending my car rental, so the additional fee for parking wasn't a huge win but there are plenty of spaces in the garage and the convenience was worth it. (but there is a daily fee of 20~22/night so be aware!) I think most of the LAX area hotels charge for parking though so I'm not too upset about it. The airport shuttle runs every half hour! Definitely a wonderful perk of being that close to the airport. I'm used to driving in LA traffic so I didn't mind it for longer trips northwest of the city, but honestly, it's in a great place to drive to other parts of the city like Koreatown, Venice, Santa Monica, DTLA.
The parking fee is a lot but I get it. The location of the lobby doors and the parking garage are kind of the same, and it's not much room so you have to enter the garage to be able to check in and it's just a little hard to navigate if it's busy with traffic.

The check in and room was fine.
Airport shuttle was very late. We (and others) were unable to reach anyone in reception to check on this. Biggest complaint: LaQuinta held my room deposit for 21 days after departure before releasing funds back to Amex. It took 3 calls to Booking.com and 3 calls to LaQuinta to resolve. This was way too long! so beware.

The staff wasn’t very attentive and seemed a little lost when it came to resolving issues, but they were not rude. The hotel was comfortable, very clean, had a simple yogurt, muffin, bar, coffee and juice breakfast included. Room was clean and nice and location was great. They charge extra for parking, which I didn’t mind, but their parking lot is open for public to park for a price as well, leaving the hotel guests without space to park their vehicles after around 11pm. So if you’re coming back to the hotel late, keep in mind you might not find a parking spot even though you pre-paid for that night’s parking.

It was a very sweet room. Clean, Had everything I needed, cozy. Nice breakfast. Very economical. I appreciated the free airport shuttle from and to LAX.
I do not like that the room was sprayed with a scent...tooooo strong. My room was opposite the elevator and noisy all night with DINGS and doors opening and closing . My dinner from the hotel dining room did not seem FRESH. I had a hamburger with what seemed like bad meat. I had diarrhea all night. I ate some of it and threw the rest away. The elevator stopped on every floor even if I was the only one in it.

LAX Large, the shuttle transportation was easy to find and very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Could hear the people in the next room, but they quieted down.
I went down to the office at 4:00 am to have help printing our boarding pass, but the clerk was having trouble with the printer. A lady cut in front of me, and the clerk started helping the lady. I want a min or two then speak up (excuse me please finish what you are doing for me first.) The clerk got rude, you just stand there or I will not help you at all! that's-blackmail. (At 4:00 am there was no other person before)

The hotel is within minutes of LAX and that was perfect for me given all the delays and cancellations with my flight. While most hotels near the airports are either slightly run down or overly expensive, this hotel was just perfect as it was in great condition, provided complimentary breakfast that was tasty, and it was not expensive at all.
The laundry room wasn’t as clean as it could be. Someone has left their clothes laying out on the table and I didn’t find that appealing. While the hotel can’t control guests every action, a cleaning staff could’ve gotten those clothes out of the view of other guests.
