We always stay at the Nash when attending a live show at the UC Theatre Berkeley. I would highly recommend for proximity to the venue and the staff is very helpful. Good little Chinese restaurant in the hotel as well.

The location was perfect and I liked the safety of the building. Our room was clean and comfy and I appreciated the fridge and microwave. Friendly staff and good value.

Parking was tricky and only 2 hour until 6

It was right in what i would call the arts district if Berkley, close to music venues, the university, amazing book shops, amazing food. The hotel was really nice, and the bed fixed my sore back from the 17 hours of flying from Australia. Will definitely be back.

the hotel seems a bit old and run down but still liveable. I think they charge a higher rate because of its central location.

I thought The Nash would be more bare bones, hostel-like; it was a lovely, old building, renovated just enough, in a GREAT location, and a great value for the rate.

I appreciated the room accommodations. The room was big enough for me and my belongings to move around in. The sheets were clean, and there was no fragrance used on the bed linen. I was thankful for the ability to bring a meal back to my room to consume. I appreciated the sink in the room to just brush my teeth, or splash water on my face. I had never been to the Bay area. I took in as many local attractions as I could in my limited time there. I appreciated the staff keeping my belongings safe, on the day of checkout, when my train did not leave for another few hours, so I could step out, get something to eat, and stop by one final shop.

I was near a shower room, not a restroom. I noticed the difference when I didn't see a toilet bowl. I had to walk down the hall and around the corner to use the facilities. Nash seems like a well loved establishment that's been around for awhile. As much as it is well-loved, I imagined that management would have gotten around to replacing the carpet, at least in some of the rooms. (Mine had several small holes in a visible area of the carpet..)

Location is the best for the price! Nice staff, clean rooms and facility, quiet!, super easy to get to by Amtrak and BART, close to super restaurants.

It was freezing cold in the Bay Area the weekend I was visiting and the room was like an icebox! I didn't realize the old fashioned radiator system worked and I didn't think to ask how to turn it on. The morning I left it suddenly hissed and 2 of the 7 vanes got hot! They will give you a fan if the weather is hot and you ask for one at the from desk.

The location is perfect. Facilities are comfortable and clean.

No staff to assist in the luggage, being a senior I needed help in bringing in/ out my stuff

Loved the location. Easy walk to Berkeley campus. Great value.

It takes a little getting used to shared baths.

The price was reasonable and location exceptional.
