Nice hotel to stay at for a wedding... Good size room, beautiful property. Should have asked for a Martina view rather than courtyard though.

The charge for coffee in the lobby is outrageous. Without regular housekeeping we used up the coffee pods in the room so we went to get a cup in the lobby only to realize they were $4 each. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't offer free coffee.

Location can't be beat! It's our favorite place to stay when visiting the Bay Area. Footsteps from the beautiful Berkeley Marina, far enough away from some of the elements near the campus. Paid for Marina view and got Marina view. Beds were so incredibly comfortable. Restaurant is beautiful, excellent customer service! We arrived near closing time and were stillwarmly welcomed and seated. Kids love the pool and jacuzzi.

Not hotel's fault but some of the guests were disrespectful. Took over jacuzzi, used up all of the towels in the pool area, allowied their kids to throw jacuzzi water into pool, vaped INSIDE jacuzzi with children around, smoked reefer in larger group steps from pool area. Made the experience unpleasant for the rest of us and we of course just had to put up with it.

Room was fine for one nite. No view but we didn’t reserve a view room. Love the Berkeley Marina. Not only beautiful but central to many things to do.

The service at The Boathouse was slow, but food was good. Acknowledgment of customers was not good. Took forever to get drinks, seemed like waitress went MIA at times. Once done we bought drinks to take out to the patio to enjoy the sunset and the bartender was not friendly and made it clear they would get to me when they could. Not sure if they are short staffed, but customer service is key to success in a customer environment.

Excellent location right on the marina and the associated view was great. The room I had was a king deluxe room, it was really big. The onsite bar was cool mix of locals and tourists with really nice views and a range of seating options.

The bed was kinda soft and sagged in the middle. The coffee maker was new and clean but the coffee itself was kinda meh. Apparently you has to ask to have the room clean, so I came back from a really long day looking fwd to a clean room and a fresh cup of coffee and (sigh) neither was in store for me.

Double Tree by Hilton is the very best!!! Hilton HONORS......the meaning of this word: HONORS.....is most apparent at the Double Tree by Hilton HONORS......from the time I arrived at around midnight and was greeted by JULIE and other staff that is the way they acted: with HONOR and I was treated with HONOR......Julie and the other staff at midnight greeted me warmly and attended to my every need......my luggage and I had a lot!!! and making me feel the most welcome and calm.....I had had a very stressful day...and all the stress disappeared once I entered the Double Tree!!!!! Julie was fantastic!!! I am very grateful to Julie and Double Tree.....my room was beautiful and facing the marina where I once had a 26 ft. MacGregor Sailing boat.......I could look out onto the bay and reminisce about the wonderful times I had on the Esmeralda my little MacGregor........Breakfast in the morning was fantastic....I sat by the window and gazed at the boats and joked with the waiter.....about French breakfasts.....I told him that many French people only had black coffee not cafe au lait in a bowl for breakfast.....we laughed.......when I decided to leave the valet was most gracious and helpful......I believe that his name was Christian.....he worked on the morning of June 2nd.....he helped me to arrange things in my car as my car was full and my visibility was somewhat impaired as I had so many possessions in my car......he turned my stress into laughter!!! Special Kudos to him....Christian? and Julie who was on the night shift on June 1-2nd!!!!! Julie and Christian are the best of the best on the staff at Hilton Honors!!!! Definitely Honors!!! has great meaning at this Hilton Honors Hotel....Double Tree by Hilton Honors Berkeley Marina!!!!! Thank you to all of the staff!!!!!

Double Tree by Hilton Honors Berkeley Marina is my home away from home and the Berkeley Marina has been just that for the past thirty years..........leaving was sad.....but I will return!!!!!

I have stayed here before for the location on the Marina, relaxed feeling, and great walks. It's been bought and public areas renovated since my last visit which was great. In particular, the staff was very friendly and responsive, and accommodated our request for the room location which made access easy. The view and easy access walk along the Berkeley Marina looking out on San Francisco at sunset was lovely. The restaurant, for dinner was good for our 1st night after traveling, especially sitting on the deck at sunset, but go into Berkeley for breakfast (the breakfast was bland and simple fare, except for our lattes.) The wait staff again very friendly and responsive.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was first-rate. The setting is delightful, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Check in was very slow. The in-room coffee was weak and tasteless. If you need coffee when you wake up, bring a good instant. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for people with mobility issues. It consists of several buildings, and you have to walk long distances to the lobby and the restaurant, sometimes opening an exterior door with your key in one hand, while wrestling your luggage--or a child--with the other.

The hotel staff did not have a record that I booked the room with breakfast included. I was charged the full price for breakfast. When I discussed it with the front desk person that same morning they told me I had not chosen breakfast. I had to contact booking.com and have them contact hotel management which still didn't resolve the issue. I had to go to the front desk again and they finally told me that the breakfast meat at $15 credit per person at the restaurant. Had I known that would be the case I would not have chosen the breakfast option. I was also told that hotel staff could not see all the options of my booking via booking.com and they had to login to the booking.com site to view all the details of me booking.

This is a fantastic alternative to staying in downtown Berkely. The marina is so beautiful and the view of the bay and San Francisco are great. The staff was so accomodating. We arrived early in the morning and for just $25 extra we got to check in 6 hours ahead of the standard 4PM check-in. Also, the restaurant and bar are great!

The service used for the TV channels was terrible. The menus didn't correctly display the actual show that was being broadcast. Sometimes the menus just said "no data" . Both of these were unacceptable so it's time to changes services used.

The staff!, Tanzania went the extra mile for our 46th anniversary by upgrading our room and comping our parking fees since we were not able to get a Marina view as requested due to a wedding party. ! We enjoyed the complimentary warm cookies and bottled water The grounds were very nice. the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and exercise equipment was a nice surprise! the location on the bay was wonderful for easy hikes and beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. the grounds were very well kept

the layout was confusing. building connections were not easy at first. room numbers also. I’m glad our parking was comped. it would have been VERY expensive. Brunch/breakfast did not have enough choices with the pre-paid breakfast option. Service was exceptional however.
