Nice apartment. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Staff very helping and friendly. Nice full kitchen. Free hot breakfast.

Bathrooms a little too small. Kitchen equipped with a minimum of stuff in terms of pots and pans. But we asked the staff who kindly provided us more pans. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for maintenance, but it must be very pleasant when open, with flowers and trees all around, and BBQ available for the hotel guests. I did not like the 10 $ fees per night for a parking which is not even garded. The breakfast should be open until 9:30 AM.

Located in a safe and good location. Free local bus service around Emeryville and to Bart Line. Amtrack station, food courts and Bay St plaza, across from the hotel. Front Desk friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Trader Joes supermarket and the Black Bear and Burger King.

The pool should be deeper then 3.5 m in the middle. The water pressure in the shower was low for my liking. and the bath tub was small and not deep enough.

Seemed to be in a good area, which is always our top priority when visiting the Bay area. With all the car break-ins that have been happening, we wanted to stay somewhere safe. The parking charged per night was the cheapest we found. You need a keycard to get into the lot and a card to get out. So that helped a little in terms of the security. The rooms were super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Bay area, but in a safer area.

The location was convenient and the parking was included and on site. The room we were eventually moved to was excellent. The view was wonderful.

The AC did not work. It took over 2 hours to have it evaluated. The front desk person made it clear they were booked and it was unlikely they could move us. I had to stay in the lobby to make sure they kept their word to make sure it was checked by the electrician and a new room was found. Our family was visiting for a funeral, it was a very hot weekend. It finally was resolved by the electrician. Would have been helpful if the front desk staff would have communicated with us and been committed to make sure our stay was pleasant. The staff was very off putting and made it clear it was our problem and not theirs. Would not stay again, sorry

Great staff, all very personable. Fantastic location! Mall with movie theaters across the street. Trader Joe's right next store in another shopping center. Easy walk to the train station was a plus. I would stay here again.

Well, I had a bay view room, but mine was only on the 4th floor, I would have preferred one further up, but such a very small complaint.

Pool water looked dirty with film and fuzz floating on top. Jacuzzi was signed as out of order although on our second day we saw it being used.

The rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, coffee in the room. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Overall although I listed some cons, I would stay here again with eyes wide open.

Beware - mandatory extra cost per night for services that most other places provide for free - such as wifi, self parking etc. Breakfast if you include into your room rate is only for the "sonesta breakfast" - not for other things on the menu that might even be cheaper. Strange setup.

short walk (should you see fit) from the Amtrak station, reasonably safe at that, time of day notwithstanding. The room was quiet and clean. I didn't have to wait a long time for the elevator, I was on the 10th floor.

The Extra blanket needed to be cleaned again. There were some random sticky spots and human hairs left on it. But that was the worst of it.

I was a little bit disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price but overall everything was good, comfy bed, clean room, clean lobby and main areas, close to restaurants and bars, nice staff everything with the best budget so 5 stars so far…

I had a room with view but the window was so dirty (from the outside) that I couldn’t enjoy it properly:(

The hotel is a tiny bit dated but since I had that incredible view from the 11th floor where I could sit at my desk and look out over the San Francisco Bay, all is more than forgiven!
