The room was a nice size with a King size bed. Not crowded at all . Had two easy chairs and a desk and chair. Had a nice wall mounted flat screen tv to watch with satellite. Microwave and small refrigerator too. Hotel WiFi worked well. Water was Hot and plentiful in the shower. Room had obviously been recently refurbished with nice modern fixtures and lighting and hardwood floors. Had USB plug ins next to the bed for phone charging which was a nice touch. Bart station is a short walk away which is nice.

At times it was a little noisy at night due to inconsiderate other guest. Not sure this is the fault of the hotel. Also there are only a couple of decent restaurants near by. There is a Carl's Jr right next door which is handy. Could of used a few more clothes hangers in the room. Only had one. The one problem I had was I had originally booked through Booking.com and needed to extend my stay by one night. I was told by staff not to do that through Booking.com but to just let them know. I ended up paying $20 more for that night then I had the first four nights booked originally. Next time I will extend using Booking.com and save $20.

The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable. A table and chairs were provided. Breakfast was not served due to COVID 19. It is an older motel, but well kept up. There is an awesome bakery about 2 blocks away - Lee's Bakery. Breakfast sandwiches, huge cinnamon rolls, croissants, and apple fritters plus lots of doughnuts.

The only negative I saw was some mildew over the shower head in the bathroom.

Location coming in was alittle nervous but not bad once you get a feel to it. Oakland needs help rebuilding the city. But I love this place I’d stay there again and again if I can. Motel under 24/7 cameras. Had a refrigerator & microwave & big tv. Decent comfortable bed. Good working A/C. Shower looked new. Only 1 way in and out. Staff good. Clean. Comfortable. Stuff near by like food water etc. went for a walk at night while on the phone as a per caution but no one bothered me.

Nah it’s fine by me. Just be smart if walking around at night. It’s a city a city on hard times. But I LOVE Oakland.

The room was clean comfortable, as we needed extra towel they bring them to us, it has a clean bathroom, and good space in general, sin we were 4 people it was comfortable to all of us

The conections around de bathroom area didnt work, so we have to move things to the other side of the room so we can use electronics, as charger, hairdryer, etc. I told the reception this issue, they just said that they were gonna check it out and if it doesnt work we were gonna be changing to another room, but it didn't happened, besides that it was a good service.

The location was excellent since it’s a short walk to MacArthur BART which is a central hub for trains and very well connected. I also thought the price of the room was fair considering the location and it was very clean; the fridge and microwave amenities were also much appreciated. The staff were very helpful and didn’t make a fuss about providing extra towels or cups.

The wifi connection was unreliable and spotty in my room. I had to stand outside in the courtyard to even get an initial connection and then could only get a good signal standing by the door of the hotel room. They need to work on making sure guests can get a consistent signal no matter where they are. If I had been on a work trio and needed wifi all day, it would’ve been a nightmare!

The staff and the owners were very nice. Also the hotel has a huge parking lot, and it is very easy to park your car. It is also gated which makes you feel safe. I have previously stayed at other hotels in Oakland, that have quite honestly not made me feel safe. However, I felt extremely safe at this location. If given the opportunity, I would book this hotel again in the future.

Everything was good, I didn't have any problems. My only advice for future travelers would be to bring their own hair dryer if they are planning on taking a shower and then doing their hair. I took a shower in the morning before checking out, and tried blow drying my hair with the hair dryer provided. However, it didn't have much power and wasn't very hot, so I was not able to blow dry and style my hair. But honestly, even that is nothing to complain about because it's understandable since it's a hotel dryer.

Location is good for accessing downtown Oakland as well as Temescal. Was fairly quiet at night. Courtyard fountain is nice. Staff was friendly; came to make up the room and provided fresh towels everyday.

The was half of a coffee maker in the room and no coffee was available at reception. On my last night they was a leak from an adjacent room onto the floor of my room and some of my luggage got wet.

I loved this place sooo beautiful and imaculant,the price was extra Kool,Soo worth it. The staff was a lil short but it was late, but all n all I'd tell the world that place imperial was the safest cleanest most quiet. LOVED ,LOVED, LOVED.!!!!!

That we had to leave so fast the bed is really high so if your short like us 5'1 5'2. Get a lil stepup ... Tv was great hot and cold ac.. tub,shower blow dryer iron...come on 9500 sheesh I can't wait to go back.

The greatest thing about this hotel is the location. It’s super close to the city center of San Francisco! There is a great bagel shop 2 minutes walking distance to the hotel. Only thing about hotel is that the sheets were old, they have cigarette burns and some of the furniture was dirty. The overall bed and room was clean enough for a 2 night stay. Would recommend!

i like everything about this motel. the location is perfect, & centrally located in nice area of oakland. convenient & easy to get to berkeley, etc. the rooms are large, clean, & very nicely furnished with armchairs & table. very comfortable. all necessary amenities...desk, dresser, nightstands, refrigerator, etc. comfortable bed. not to soft, great for your back. its very quiet here, & there is a lovely courtyard with seating & fountain. i also met some very nice guests, with whom i had nice conversations. the staff is very friendly & welcoming. great value for the price, which is very fair for this area. i shall definitely stay here again.
