Staff was so friendly, check in was super easy and they even allowed me to check in later in the night. The room was clean and updated. The bathroom was beautiful! There is free parking, and the beds and pillows were nice. The room had a nice large TV, the remote was a little confusing. There is a Nations Giant Burger by the motel that is open late. The vending machines were out of order, but they had drinks and snacks for sale in the lobby. There was a really cool light that had a nightlight feature on it, which I thought was great to help with small children or to help you see a little at night. The parking lot was well lit at night and the shades on the windows help to keep the light out. You can tell that the staff takes pride in this property.

Our room had 2 queen beds, but it was kind of a small room and limited storage. The beds felt like a full and not a queen. It wasn’t a problem for us, but something that should be noted. There wasn’t a screen on our bathroom window, granted we were on the second floor. The only recommendation I would make is to invest in pillow protectors for the rooms.

I stayed here one night while in town for a concert. There was free onsite parking, which is a plus. The room looked like it had been recently updated - there were plenty of outlets for devices and the furnishings were modern. The shower was a good size and the water heated up nicely. Beds were comfortable, though the pillows were quite soft. Overall, the room was well appointed with a microwave, a mini-fridge with a separate freezer, and a large television. Location was convenient to UC Berkeley, restaurants, etc. Overall, I would stay here again.

It looked like they were in the middle of working on the property so there were tarps and taped areas where they must have been painting. I had a double queen room, which was large enough for two people, but if I had a larger group or a family it would have been tight. The towels were a bit scratchy and thin. I noticed on the morning I was leaving that the window in the bathroom appeared to be broken.

We were attending a function at UC Berkeley and the location was perfect for that. The room was very comfortable and clean and quiet and parking, check-in and check-out were very quick and easy. However, the best part was the personal service of the staff. We needed an early check-in because of the timing of our event and it was handled beautifully. After we checked out the next day, my wife left her hair dryer at the Travelodge and they called to let us know she had left it behind. Such great personal service. I would heartily recommend this Travelodge to people visiting Berkeley.

The staff was very accomodating. I needed to come early for the Book Festival, to park and carry books and a chair to the event. They were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet! I did not use wifi or wtch the TV so can't say anything about that. I had a very nice stay. Shops, cafes and a Trader Joe's on the corner. Very convenient for someone who didn't want to drive. Friendly, clean, oh so nice. I would stay here again.

Nothing. It really was a nice room and location for what I was doing. I would stay there again.

The overall experience was good. It's a value hotel. There is free parking, and the room was clean. The mattress is quite basic and not terribly comfortable, but everything was just fine. Walking distance to Trader Joe's, and a handful of good take-out places, and Berkeley campus. The Wifi worked very nicely for a couple of Zoom meetings, and the bathroom and linens were all very clean. My room included a mini fridge, a safe, an iron, a TV, a microwave and a tiny coffee maker. There is no AM breakfast. Overall, a good hotel at a fair price, even if it's not fancy.

The mattress was a bit saggy and not terribly comfortable, but it worked fine.

Centrally located, clean and tidy room. Very easy walking distance to many things around Berkeley. Our room included a bathroom that would have been great for those with mobility issues or use a wheelchair: large, open, no steps up or down.

Folks outside our room were smoking all the time so even though the room was a non-smoking room, anytime we turned on the fan/AC, our room smelled very strongly of cigarettes/weed.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The shower was spacious. The room had lots of room and I didn't feel cramped. The AC worked great and kept the room comfortable. Parking was free. The hotel is in a great location.

There was an alarm in the room I couldn't turn off but it buzzed every hour. I didn't see a breakfast anywhere, but I also didn't really look for it.

The location was excellent - we needed to stay close to Berkeley UC. The room & bathroom were clean, coffee machine and microwave working properly - that's basically all we needed. Good value for money.

A cleaning lady knocked at our door at about 8am (Saturday) and asked if we would like to have room service right now or not at all. Hard choice :) At the moment we just started our morning coffee so we decided to skip the service.

The staff was friendly, and very helpful. The room was very clean, and had everything I needed for a one night stay over, including tea bags, a fridge, microwave, and of course a very comfortable king bed. And I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom - modern, with a great shower. It was an awesome room for the value.

The only thing I would note is that one wall (where travelers usually put their luggage) was scratched and in need of paint. Once I too put my suitcase there, I didn't see it, but it would not take much to touch it up, or even apply another material that won't be continually damaged by suitcases. Other than that, the room was spotless and very comfortable.

Room is big and clean with microwave and fridge. The hotel maintains at good condition like a new one, we are satisfied with the hotel. The Staff in the front desk is very friendly and helpful, update my room to a better one. Location is good, about 10 mins walking to UC Berkeley.

The cleaning lady is good on her job, we enjoy our clean room. But I don’t like her knock the door and want to enter our room before 9 am before we check out. It’s better to begin cleaning from the rooms which already checked out.
