The room and hotel were immaculate and comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

I think our issue might be with Booking.com that promised a city view. We had a typical Booking.com view of the interior courtyard where the buildings all face one another and the garbage cans are stored. There was definitely no “City view” which was very disappointing. I feel like Booking.com does a bit of bait and switch with some of their promises and I am ready to book on my own after being burnt several times by this company.

From the outset, I was amazed by the state-of-the-art, modern furniture and equipment throughout the hotel. Loved the mini soaps in the bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and neat to the last detail. Most staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for combining walking around a nice residential area but also doing some shopping. Also within walking distance to Central Park.

The only thing I did not really appreciate- the lack of in-house room service for purposes of ordering food. While there was an external courier service available, it had limited options and I found it quite overpriced, especially for a one-person order. Also, since the hotel does not offer room service, I found that the room should be equipped with appliances such as a microwave (to heat take out food), and maybe cutlery as well.

Amazing Staff and clean rooms, the location is fantastic and the overall hotel is amazing. Upon arrival, the staff was so accommodating and friendly. we were offered to upgrade and we did, so glad we did as the rooms in NYC are normally really small, this room was really spacious and well equipt. We needed a sewing kit and one was delivered to the room within 5 minutes, it's touches like this that make hotels in cities really stand out to me!

If I had one criticism, it would be that the building work next door was loud, however, it's NYC and it's a loud place most of the time, and building work will be done all the time in such a significant city. however, the builders started at 7 am and it was pretty loud

The property is basically brand new. The rooms were very nicely appointed and equipped with convenient technology (lighting and shade controls at bedside). The room, especially for NYC standards at this price, were really spacious. The lobby is very stylish and elegant. The staff was courteous, professional, and I felt they really enjoyed their work. Its UWS location was really convenient to restaurants, the park, and museums.

Everything was nice, clean and modern. We’ve stayed in some nice NYC hotels, and this was one of our top two experiences. Rooms were a nice size for NYC, and it had every amenity we could want. I don’t remember there being a bar or restaurant, but we typically go out for food and drinks in the city. It even had a little fridge tucked away in the drawer, which was very handy.

Wonderful hotel, new, spotlessly clean, extremely well-located for subway stations and Central Park. Beautiful neighbourhood with nearby Amsterdam Avenue and hundreds of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. We were lucky to be given a beautiful room on the 13th floor with its own terrace with sweeping views into the city. Room was cleaned extremely well every day and was very well appointed. Excellent experience overall.

Soundproofing was great in terms of keeping street noise out- but less good at blocking noise from outside the room. We were woken up a few times on one night when neighbouring rooms were coming in and out. It didn't detract from our experience. The security deposit of 50USD per night could have been signposted better- as we were staying for a week, this was sizable (but we got it back with no issue). Expensive overall but we felt it was worth the money.

The room was superb, very clean and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too! The white noise machine (part of the clock) was a great bonus! Having stayed in Midtown during previous trips, staying in the Upper West Side was a welcome change. The location is excellent. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from Central Park and Subway stations. Loads of great bars and restaurants close by.

I prefer blackout blinds/curtains. The shades were ok but if you like to sleep in pitch black, consider bringing an eye mask.

Very modern and really nice room, especially for New York. Felt spacious and not cramped and was ideal for a family of 4. It had a small gym that was useful and great location for Central Park and Amsterdam avenue for reasonably priced and non-touristy places to eat. I am really pleased we did not stay “downtown” as it was good to get some down time away from the hubbub. Getting to the tourist spots was very convenient on the subway, and we did also walk to Times Square and Rockefeller on one of the days too which took about 40 minutes (as Brits we are used to walking!)

There was a nice bar, but not too much else. It didn’t matter as the hotel was so close to many other conveniences, bars and restaurants.

The hotel is located in the Upper West Side which has a less touristy feel. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Central Park and the Hudson River. The subway is only 5 minutes away which makes access to the sights very easy. We had a lovely, modern, spacious room on the top floor with a partial view of the Hudson River. All staff were friendly and welcoming. We had drinks in the bar on a couple of nights where there was often live entertainment. Warning! - It does get busy on Friday/Saturday nights so may be worth booking a seat on these nights, however the hotel did make sure we got a seat. Overall, we felt we made a really great choice of hotel for our trip.

Nothing - unless you want breakfast in the hotel, which wasn't necessary as there are lots of cafes nearby.

We were very happy with the location! a beautifully peaceful neighbourhood but only a short subway from the hustle and bustle. The hotel met all our needs, it was very clean and modern - we absolutely loved the bed and tele which also had only the best films playing every day! the staff were very polite and any requests for new towels / more pillows were handled so quickly!

we initially were abit disappointed that the hotel doesn’t have a pool or a breakfast area however we wouldn’t have had time to use the pool anyway and the breakfast options on the doorstep are a plenty!
