Da Vinci Hotel

DaVinci Hotel is a wonderful New York bargain. it is a three star and the building is older. But everything is clean and freshly painted and the lobby has been completely updated. The staff is excellent: friendly, available and helpful. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs. Broadway and Times Square are within a ten to fifteen minute walk. Central Park is a reasonable walk in the opposite direction. I have stayed there several times.

I find it hard to give a numerical rating. Its not an upscale "Wow" facility. But for the price its wonderful.

I loved staying at the Da Vinci. Every staff member that I met was very friendly and incredibly helpful. I arrived in the morning to work sales calls all around Manhattan, and they let me drop off my overnight bag and kept it safe for me all day until I checked in later, and also for most of the next day after I checked out. The whole room, the bed, and the bathroom were all very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm really grasping to find a dislike here, but the only thing I can think of even remotely negative is that a ramp at the entrance would've been nice. There are only a few steps at the front door but it would've nice to not have to lift my heavy bag. Not a dealbreaker at all. Again, everything else was absolutely wonderful, but just something to note if anyone has mobility issues. And I didn't ask, but they might even have a ramp or elevator at a separate entrance that I'm not aware of. That is literally the only thing I can think of that could be better. And I'm sure if anyone needs assistance with their luggage on the stairs, the friendly staff will be glad to help.

Hotel in the heart of Manhattan. Near the Park, a huge food store, 5th Avenue boutiques, cafes. the hotel reminds of Italy or France with its comfort. The staff is great. There is a place for luggage. The rooms are clean and stylish. There are very small low-class rooms, but the middle class is drawn to 4 stars or 5 in another country. I was happy to live there, comfortable, bright, real New York should have such a face for tourists. WiFi signal is really weak. But this is the only negative. Ask in advance how to adjust the shower, because if you don't know, you will be a little puzzled. I sincerely thank the staff for all the days of stay!

This hotel met my needs in NYC based on location. It was central to where I needed to be and could access those locations on foot. Many amenities were nearby, including the theatre district. Everything was comfortable in the room. While small, it met all of my needs.

Room service seemed to occur quite late in the day. I would go out during the day and when I returned, my room still had not been attended to. In fact, on my last day there, I received a knock at 5:30pm for room service! Just when I was heading back out again! Having the room cleaned earlier in the day would have met my needs more.

great location, friendly staff. the bathroom is very beautuful and full of mirrows, white towels and bed linen.

- mattress is new, but the bed is really worn out. so sleeping on it felt too much like sinking, it could be a bigger problem for travellers with higher body weight. - floor has not been washed once during my one week stay. i think cleaning should include it. - the restaurant is located downstairs so there is permanent noise coming from the window (both oprn and closed). generally, a room does not have too much light, but is equipped in everything a traveller need.

It was so great! The employees are the cutest. The hotel’s is so close to Time Square and to the theatre. It might not be the most modern one out there but it’s definitely worth it and it kinda feels like home.

My first room (economy) was small but more than okay and but in the second one (on the 5th floor), you could hear the AC A LOT. It was more disturbing than noise from the street I heard in the other room. I still give the hotel the best note because it didn’t really bother me. The windows tend to be a little bit complicated to open too.

The room is spacious and clean with comfortable bed, beautiful functional bathroom i had no problem using bath tub with warm water, toilet, and hair dryer. The staffs were very nice and helpful. Airport taxi that they recommend had a very nice car, polite and helpful driver with flat price. Recommended place to stay.

No drinking water in the room but if you need bottled/hot water just ask and they will provide 👍

Easy to find and only a short walk from multiple subway stops. Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Elevator was good. Room had a lot of space given the price and location. Bed was soft but comfortable. Good size residential sized bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. Wifi was good in some parts of the room, but not others. Cleanliness was good. Room was quiet for NYC and we both got a good sleep. Overall a very good stay.
