Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Santa Clara - Silicon Valley, an IHG Hotel

Room was super clean and spacious. Had so many amenities. Breakfast had a good variety. Staff (Jesus) was very helpful and quick to take care of any concerns. The a.m. weekend front desk clerk was very friendly also. Our room was very quiet. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a pool view that my kids loved. The room is dark when you need it, but great lighting when it's needed as well. We would definitely stay here again.

*The a/c took a LONG time to cool down the room which was pretty warm/muggy when we arrived. We informed staff and Jesus came up right away to take a look. I guess all the a/c's are like that so we just took a dip in the pool while we were waiting for the room to cool down. It wasn't a huge inconvenience, but a friendly suggestion to the hotel would maybe be to start cooling down the room on hot days prior to the customers visit, especially when a customer messages their arrival time. *The breakfast eggs were watery and the cinnamon rolls were dry with no icing. Other than that, we loved the breakfast.

The location was excellent! Close to all the shopping I needed to do and had easy access to HWY280. I got the rest and relaxation I desperately needed. Quiet setting. Spacious room. Fridge/microwave/TV in great working condition. Spacious bathroom. A comfy mattress. A great couple of nights of sleep!

The cleaning staff entered the room before I had fully checked out and cleaned the room while I was away at breakfast. It is important to let the staff know that they should wait until the guest has checked out to enter for cleaning. I had already moved my stuff out and had the do not disturb sign on the door. I do understand that they probably saw an empty room (as I had already moved my belongings to the car) and entered to clean, however, I still had the entry card and wasn't quite ready to check out. My visit was cut short by a 1.5 hrs due to this issue and will make sure I tell the desk staff during future visits if I decide to leave the room before checkout time OR leave my belongings in the room so the cleaning staff knows the guest hasn't left/checked out.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable and there was enough room for our luggage to be stored in a corner and out of our way. Also the hotel has a lot of good food nearby and we never had to go too far to get what we needed.

The pillows weren't the best but I was still able to get decent sleep.

The rooms and hotel was super clean. Very nice and up-to-date. The staff was awesome.

so all the windows in the hallway and the doors to the lobby remained open at all times when even the temperature drops below 40°. So the lobby where you had breakfast and the hallways were super cold almost uncomfortable.

The location for the area where we were visiting was just right. Being next to the expressway made it easy to access the highways. The rooms were very clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast was a grab and go. It had a fresh banana, yogurt, pastry and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. Just the right amount to get your day started Most important, we felt SAFE.

The front desk did not have enough quarters for us to do laundry; they had to wait for the manager to arrive to replenish the cash box The shower head was very high. If you are a short person, you will have issues adjusting it.

Front desk staff was lovely even at the late hour I arrived. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Pump bottle for conditioner didn't work. It was full, but didn't dispense. I never got the chance to report it or request a replacement, so that's on me.

the bed was very comfy, the location was good. The breakfast was pretty tasty.

ok so the shower head pressure was a little low and the tv remote only worked if you were right in front of it. I know it's not a big deal but was trying watch tv in bed and couldn't change the channels.

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Hotel is also close to local restaurants and shopping.

Hotel is going through a renovation process or someone forgot to upgrade the dingy steps and dirty hallway carpets.

Breakfast was good. They have many options to choose from! When I came to lobby there were many people, but I did not see gloves to grab food everyone using same tongs.

I did not like that when I made my reservation they did not told me anything about a $150 Insurance or something like that. Which they have not refund me yet.

-We were in room 225 next to the laundry room. It was being used constantly, we couldn’t sleep a full night due to all the noise. So it was very loud. - Walls are very thin, we were able to hear everything going on in the next room and outside the halls.
