Motel 6-Santa Clara, CA

The front desk hostess who helped us was very kind and didn’t break her smile when assisting us. She was very friendly and the gentleman host was just as kind while checking us in. It was a smooth transaction. The AC was fierce and we enjoyed it.

There was a man smoking weed near our room so it kinda seeped through but not too intense. The bathtub had some brown stains and there was wall chippings on the floor. But overall, the room was nice. The manager man could be a little bit more friendly when giving instructions. He seemed bothered but it could be because it was late at night. He probably had a long day as did we.

Great Value. Needed a place to stay since we now have dogs and motel 6 is the perfect place to travel with pets. No hidden fees, no non-refundable deposit, although I'm sure you will be responsible for any and all damage, however, if you have well behaved dogs there is nothing to worry about anyway. We were meeting for a family get together and all the hotels in the area had at least a $150 non-refundable deposit and the weight limits ranging from 25-60 lbs. I have two french mastiff mixes and the 4 month old puppy is over 60lbs, so there was no hotel with family to stay out. Motel 6 was perfect for our needs for this trip.

I know things have been different since pandemic. A lot of people living here with a few junk vehicles. Cars along back side street have broken out windows. Didn't feel unsafe, so that was good, just not appealing.

Not nearby a Highway. That's why it's not as likely of a car theft to steal a car car such as my car and hit the Highway to make a quick get away. Motels, Inns and Hotels near Highways are a risk of customers cars being stolen from their parking lots.

The person at the front desk was very polite and checked us in quickly. The room was nice and comfortable. I really liked the mini booth in there. The price was fair and the location was near our event. Many convenient stores and spots to eat nearby.

We had trouble using an HDMI cord because the input options wasn’t working properly. And early in the morning, some people were blasting their music very loud. Also it looked like there were some abandoned vehicles at the property.

That the staff is nice and helpful

That the prices are always up and down day after day weeks after weeks for the same room I been staying in... Why can't it be the same price?

Super Clean room, a full size bathroom (unlike most Motel 6), even had a table and booth for two. We felt safe with security securing the property. Check-in was super easy, took less than 5 minutes. We will be staying here again soon. Highly recommended.

location was close to my family and activities I had planned.

Felt a little uncomfortable at times as there was a man walking the grounds tryng to sell off brand cigarettes and he kept showing up at all hours.

It was in a nice place, with a nice restaurant like 50ft away. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Rooms were a little small and thin walls, could hear neighbors.
