Granada Inn

Location was good. The rooms were clean, comfortable and safe. The staff was friendly.

The breakfast was too minimalistic and I really wouldn't call it a proper breakfast. There were no eggs, or juices, or adequate fruits. On checking in they asked for a security deposit despite making the full payment at check in. Though it was refunded after check out, it wasn't a friendly gesture.

The staff are wonderful, friendly, kindhearted and approachable. My room is comfortable and I appreciate the tea/coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and other amenities. The location is great, close to stores and public transportation.

enjoyed the clean and spacious room with comfortable king bed, linens and nice towels. The breakfast was fine but could be supplemented with other toast adds, such as nut butters of various sorts.

The air conditioner was loud and has a flaky switch. The door handle on the shower is loose and may fall off soon.

the property is very dated but I still slept good, had piece and quiet and all my needs as a guest were met, free parking and amazing customer service!!

it is aged and my shower door was hard to open and close but the water pressure and heat were amazing so I am not gonna complain!!

I have stayed at this place twice and I loved it. The staff are so friendly and helpful! The rooms are okay. But comparing to the price you pay, you get a perfect room. You even get a small kitchen with pans and a stove. You feel save in the area and just a 50 min drive to Santa Cruz!😍 You even get a free breakfast and coffee. Been on a road trip for 5 weeks and this hotel is one in my top 5!!!

The staff were super nice and it was tidy and well-located. We used it as a close Hotel for the Taylor Swift concert and it worked out great!

It was all good

Due to the wildfires and the uncertainty of whether we would have a home to return to, we had to extend our stay a few weeks. They retained our original rate, and when we were able to return home after only a week, the unused portion was refunded. The room was comfortable and clean and in good condition. And even when the air outside was hazy with smoke, the air conditioner seemed to keep the smell out. In terms of location, it is positioned on El Camino Real close to a number of restaurants, and the San Tomas Expressway, which makes it easy to get to work. Despite its placement in a reasonably busy area, it is quiet and accessible. We found the lobby staff helpful when needed, and pleasant to work with. Given the choice, I elected to take a room on the second floor. Though we usually asked to maids to only clean our room on alternate days, they always did a good job. An important thing for me: there were enough electrical outlets available to accommodate the medical equipment I need use at night without problem, as well as to recharge our phones.

Though COVID-19 precluded free breakfast, the Keurig machine in the lobby and the proximity to fast-food breakfast places helped. For some reason, my partner was slightly apprehensive of other guests, and of the piles of junk lining a side street from another hotel undergoing renovation. I think this was promulgated by the constant smell of smoke from the fires that had driven us (temporarily) from our home. When you're scared, everything around you is terrifying.

Being a Handicapped person, I couldn't partake in breakfast because it was served on the 2nd floor. I liked the counter person, very welcoming and pleasant.

Location, low-key atmosphere

The wireless/internet access code isn’t posted anywhere. I had to ask at the front desk. Room cleaning every 2 or 3 days would be nice.

The breakfast was basic but fresh.

The floor is covered with rug except the bathrooms which are tiled. I would have preferred tiles all through.
