Lovely property. Pool cocktails and afternoon tea were excellent. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom (stained marble notwithstanding) with well-designed shelf large enough to hold lots of items. Good bedside lighting.

1) Check-in was slow and inefficient and my room was very far away from the main building, which resulted in a $20 parking charge to my daughter, who lives in Pasadena and had driven me from the airport, because I couldn't complete check-in within the allotted and inadequate 15 minutes. I don't expect this kind of tacky nickel-and-diming from an upscale and very expensive hotel. 2) My room was described as having a garden view. This turned out to be a view of the street with a strip of lawn, so hardly as anticipated. 3) The staff were generally lovely, with the exception of the valet desk. 4) Room very ordinary; no amenities such as a coffee maker or working refrigerator.

Service was great. Place was very clean and location was excellent.

It was an inconvenience getting transferred to a different room in the middle of night due to a water leak, but the staff and management made it right by taking care of us and compensating on price of room. I didn't like the poor arrangement and availability for customers who wanted to eat out in the open at the tap restaurant patio area. Due to Covid people want to be out in the open. The patio area was not being used efficiently, plus large bulky furniture not practical for seating small groups. Several people waiting to sit out in the open. It was frustrating had to wait 1hr to sit outside to have dinner. Also people dining outside could be given a 1.5 dinning time limit due to demand to sit outside.

The pool w wonderful as were the rooms. And the staff was great.

We tried 3 of the five food venues. Mediocre for the $. The pool Hideaway Bar closed by 4 on weeknights which was very disappointing. We only ate the guacamole and chips and it was good not great. The Terrace, which overlooked the pool was only open for dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. We are there one Sunday and the food was not especially good. We would say the same for the room service options. Mediocre. It was very disappointing especially for the prices.

Bloody Mary good.....did not especially like hamburger ordered at bar.....just ok, nothing special. Would have liked alternative to french fries which were too salty. They were replaced with a huge portion that needed salt. would have preferred coleslaw or salad. But bartenders were so attentive. In general, most attentive great staff. All very professional and very pleasant. Bed very comfortable, sheets felt cool and soft. Was there for a family event outside of the hotel. Would like to plan to come again. Please let me know about any promotions.

Thought marble floors in bath could have been cleaned better unless they are permanently stained? Desks next to bed kind of worn and too close to bed. Time to replace toilet to taller more updated model. Shower head not so good, but great quick hot water. Wall mounted magnifying mirror good and just at right height for me. TV could be newer and larger.

Entering the Langham Huntington is like entering a European palace and the service matches the setting. The staff is particularly friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and lunch at The Terrace Restaurant and drinks in The Tap Room and the food was delicious, as well as the ambience. The hotel also provides a limousine service, free of charge, which will drop you off and pick you up at locations within a 3-mile radius. The grounds are beautiful and the location is central to other spots of interest like the Huntington Library & Gardens and Old Pasadena.

Meals were pricey, but this is standard in luxury hotels and restaurants.

WE had the very best time at the Langham, Pasadena! The customer service went above and beyond. They were very easy and friendly to work with. The restaurants and private dining and room service were amazing. The pool was fabulous, as well as the pool service. The housekeeping was very fast and efficient with every request! The flowers in the lobby were so beautiful and welcoming. My children loved the popsicle cart. The extras that we requested were delightful. As were the pink macarons, a FAVORITE!! Thank You So Much!!!

The staff and services was top notch and professional. The hotel was awesome and well kept. Was there for five days and didn't want to leave. They made sure the guest felt special. The Terrace restaurant was wonderful, and so was the staff. I will go back.

The steakhouse restaurant was overrated for the price. Not a large variety of food. I ordered the salmon, and it was panseared, not tasteful for the price, My husbands ribeye was dry. The ceasar salad was delicious.

Nice size room but. Very nice views and nicely furnished. Comfortable bed. Beautiful grounds Wonderful and top class staff and customer service. Nice gym, equipped well. i did appreciate male and female spa areas as well. Very nice food at the one restaurant tries. Very opulent looking bar.

would have liked a more easily accessible area for the smoking area - had to walk across the field and wasn't sheltered properly during the rain. Would have liked to explore the hotel more but there was a big event happened so not all the restaurants were open or areas open for the public. There was an issue with the heating in the spa so my massage room was quite cold, but the staff were very nice in offering me a discount afterwards due to that. For couples it would be nice if theres an area where both can experience the spa together - unisex area, rather than just the massage waiting room. Room could have been more extravagant for the price.

The attention to detail, like charging our electric car when we dropped it with valet, was really thoughtful 👌 Our weekend there saw at least a couple of weddings and anniversary celebrations which probably caused the long waiting times for our car, delays with service at lunch and a missed turndown service of our room. But overall, these were handled well, hospitality and warmth was key in every aspect and we value that. Overall, a fantastic experience, we loved the historic theme, The Terrace, the Chuan Spa and our stay at The Langham Pasadena.

An absolutely lovely property! The grounds are beautiful and the staff so friendly and accommodating. Our room was well equipped and very comfortable. We dined for dinner (truly exceptional) as well as visiting both The Tap Room for drinks and The Terrace for brunch. We weren’t disappointed! We are looking forward to staying again next time we are in the area.

Really, our stay was near perfect so there isn’t much to say here!
