Excellent place with attentive staff.

PLEASE SOUND PROOF YOUR ROOMS. The walls are thin, you have concrete floors, and no soft furnishings. You can hear the neighbours and the neighbours are just doing normal things like talking or playing music, they're not doing anything wrong. To be fair, the staff are apologetic about it but it's not their fault either. It's the acoustics of the room and you need to put up noise absorbing panels.

Everything was perfect. Clean and with all the facilities that you need to travel and rest. The location it’s great if you want to hang out and you can go walking to every tourist city attraction, also you have shops next to the apartment and a small supermarket called Eroski (3 min)

In our stay we didn’t have to report any issues but in the case that you have to, you can contact the Bob W. Team by WhatsApp or the guest area, they are really accessible of any needs.

The room we booked was much smaller than I’d thought it would be, and when I raised this after the first night, we were switched to an available bigger room right away for no charge (I’d raised it with the expectation that I’d need to pay). It’s this kind of customer service that leads to repeat customers. Our room was on the inside courtyard and was really quiet, no views obviously but worth it for a peaceful night’s sleep. Seamless communication, easy to get in and out, spotlessly clean and with everything you may need. The area is very vibey and lots of amazing restaurants right on your doorstep.

The room we initially booked was very small - it didn’t seem this way from the photos. It was fine for one night but anything longer would be too claustrophobic.

Very central location. Super thoughtful and attentive staff who responded within minutes to my queries. Comfortable room with lots of thoughtful touches like good coffee and an Instax camera to take pictures. Warm, powerful shower. A communal kitchen and laundry room. We didn't use the kitchen but we did use the washing machines and drying racks and they were super clean and efficient.

The smell of cigarette smoke came through the air conditioning when it was on. The staff were helpful and provided a dehumidifier straight away, but ultimately the smell was still there. I think it was coming from elsewhere in the building (not the Bob W rooms). Because of the central location, there was a lot of noise at night so we had to use earplugs after the second night of not sleeping well. Ear plugs are provided free at the hotel.

The only bad thing was that the double bed was made of 2 twins together with a thin full sized topper on top. Because the beds were light and the floor was a smooth hard surface, any movement while sitting or sleeping on the bed would cause everything to shift. Sleeping or sitting in the middle of the bed was impossible. The 2 twins would slowly separate as I slid down ending up on the floor on the topper sandwiched between the 2 beds. I would have to constantly fix and rearrange the bed(s) during my week long stay.

Great location in the center of activity. Wonderful view out our window of the lively scene in the plaza, but quiet when we went to sleep. Big window that opened up to let in the breeze. AC welcome and quiet for the hottest part of the day. Coffee maker nice to have in the room, along with a fridge. also shared kitchen and laundry room were extra pleasures. Good lighting for reading on both sides of the bed. The guard at the gate was especially helpful, also Natalie, thanks!

Minor annoyances: Bed kept sliding around on the slippery floor and away from the headboard so the pillows slipped down the crack. Shower fixtures could have been arranged differently, so as not to keep knocking the faucet out of position because the shower stream came straight down on to them. The bathroom fan sounded like it will fail soon, not really a problem yet.

Bob W. thinks of everything. You'll find cool unexpected perks inside the room, things that will make you say "HOW DID THEY THINK OF THIS?" and really love the thought they put into the room. The position was amazing, rooms sufficiently spacious and all necessary amenities available.

We were expecting there would be room service every day, instead cleaning only came on the last day (at 11 AM when we had requested late checkout at noon...). Bob W. cares a lot about sustainability and making stays carbon neutral, so that might be why room service is not offered. However, a heads up might've been nice.

Great location, safe and secure and doorman was there Mon - Fri. Room was compact (studio flat so no surprises there), but we had everything we needed including kettle, microwave, fridge, shampoo, towels, the list goes on. Shared kitchen for putting dirty dishes in the dishwasher and collecting clean dishes was really good and kept any food smells out of the rooms. We even had cake in the shared kitchen for guests on the Sunday morning. Any queries and we could easily reach Bob W by WhatsApp. We had a late flight home so appreciated being able to store our luggage until 5pm, it was nice not having to drag a suitcase around a hot, busy city. There were also laundry facilities, which we didn’t use, but good to know they were there if we did need them.

A bit more floor space for a comfy chair would have been nice but it was a studio flat so appreciate there is only so much furniture can go in a small space. I’m struggling to think of any negatives.

Extremely clean and bright rooms. The beds were comfortable and there are lots of nice touches that have been added to make your stay more comfortable and fun. I especially liked the Instax camera you can borrow, the yoga mats, and the candies. There is a well equipped kitchenette in the room AND a larger separate, communal kitchen too with spices, more fridge space, and more cooking tools. Having access to a laundry room with drying racks you can bring to your room was awesome.

The rooms facing the street can be loud due to numerous pedestrians below. the staff can provide earplugs, though. I ended up moving to a room near the back and it was much calmer.

A beautiful stay ! Very well located, everything availaible by foot or subway. Perfect if you need to visit Madrid. Everything was clean, and the equipment was on point. Big TV with a lot of things to watch, kitchen with tee, cofee.. There is no reception but that was not a problem because the staff was super availaible and easy to reach and they fixed all of my problems super quickly. I can only highly recommand Bob ! Thank you so much
