Petit Palace Triball

Location so as awesome for exploring the city (easy to jump on the metro at Gran Via station). Having 4 beds and the fact that 1 larger bed was on its own in a separate room was great for our family of 4. In 1 room there was a twin and a bunk bed with a bit of safety on the top bunk (not enough that I’d put a kid under 8 up there). The room was clean. The soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were in larger bottles that stay at the hotel but they were nice. The breakfast was a buffet with an excellent assortment of fruit, vegetable, Tortilla de potata, yogurt, chia pudding, pastries, fresh juice, coffee, and tea. The cleaning staff and front desk were so helpful. We had an issue with our credit card and needed to call and they let us call from the phone at the front desk.

My partner felt like the room and bathroom needed updating but I thought they were fine. Wish it had been a bit cheaper.

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The terrace was fantastic, really big, with an awesome view and a cool breeze that made it perfect to enjoy both day and night. I was worried that to access the rooms with a terrace you had to go through another building, but it was just a different access to the right of the reception. All the staff was really friendly and helpful!

The only minor thing I can think of is it would have been nice to have a coffee option to make at the room along with the tea selection, but aside from that nothing!

It's a great, modest hotel for someone who's spending only a few days in Madrid and wants to be able to walk to popular spots like Gran Via and Sol. We stayed in a 3 person room and the room and bathroom were spacious. I think the price is worth for what you get and the premium location only a few steps off the Gran Via.

We only had a small issue with our shower, it was leaking quite a lot but after the first night it got fixed. I think it's a very fair stay and the price matches what you will receive re: experience.

Really good location, just a couple of blocks from Gran Via Metro stop, but on a side street, which meant less people traffic. The staff was friendly and very helpful, from getting ice for our room, to opening the door when they saw me walking in with full hands. Good service goes a long way and the team at this location was on top. The breakfast was phenomenal, including making our own coffee selection and shots of healthy juices; the food was quite tasty! The room was bigger than I thought and so was the terrace, which I thought it was going to be just a small balcony, beautiful views from the top. We visited in November so we didn't get to use a lot, but good to know for warmer weather!

The room had a kettle but only tea, I called downstairs and the were very good about offering to bring some from the breakfast pantry. The bathroom had a bit of a funky plumbing smell, we only stay two nights so we dealt with it, if we had stayed longer we would have probably ask for a change in room, based on their wonderful customer service, they probably would have done it if asked. Still, all in all a very good stay.

Stayer 4 adults in a room for 6 on the first floor. Room and bathroom were very spacious. Good waterpressure in the shower. All staff except for one were super nice and ready to help at anytime. Next door to the huge Primark, only 8-10 minute walk from Sol with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Amazing clean hotel in excellent location,near to many attractions and metro station. Spectacular view if you choose the rooms looking in Gran Via, nice and fresh Breakfast, kind and helpful staff! There is nothing else to ask for a wonderful stay in Madrid. I highly recommend this hotel and of course I am going to stay here in my next visit!

Best location ever!! In the mid of grand via street, near the metro (3 min walk), near shopping area and tourists sites. All in a walk distance or metro away. The crew were great, gave us all needed info and support. Breakfast was moderate but right to the point! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kid's room have a bed on top of other, which have same mattress as their regular bed, and that is great! We were 2 adults, 4 adolescents and a kid. Will return for sure!

The hotel was wonderful, clean and modern. The rooms were spacious, with the most comfortable beds and a great rainfall shower in the bathroom. I also appreciated the hairdryer having a concentrator nozzle, little touches make a difference! The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, always willing to help. The location was amazing, the views from our 4th floor room right down the Grand Via were spectacular. We spent a lot of time in Malasana which was five minutes walk away, definitely the best place for bars and restaurants. This was, without hesitation, an excellent choice of hotel.

Nothing.

The room was very large. We appreciated the small side room with the chairs, small table and television. It permitted one to be in the room with a book and light, while the other slept. Also the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was extremely adequate to start the day. The woman (Lucia? I believe) who checked us in was extremely friendly and very helpful. While the weather did not allow for much use of the terrace, on our last day the sun came out and we had a lunch on the terrace. The location is perfect to see the sights of the city.

Unfortunately the doors in the annex (on the 9th floor) are very heavy and the other guests felt it was ok to return to their room at midnight or 1:00 and slam the doors. This does not reflect on the hotel, but maybe they have doors that close more quietly.

The location is perfect, right in the city centre, with many interesting places reachable by foot. The room and bathroom were clean. The food at the buffet breakfast was nice and of good quality.

The room door isn't well sound-proofed, so we hear every word and step of people in the hallway. It was quite tricky to reach the upper bunkbed (the ladder was right in front of the small safety-gate of the bed).
