The bedsheets were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. Each room has It's own bathroom with shower which is a luxury when travelling in a group of four. The location is excellent. Everything was very clean and there is good cooking equipment, a few teas.

It's not really the fault of the hotel but every night between 0300 - 0330, in the alleyway below our room, there were two men bringing out a very, very loud trolly from a restaurant or bar. They added to the noise by shouting at each other. Although the bathroom was beautiful, the shower tray did flood after about a minute which was quite uncomfortable.

- the location is amazing (i’m a vintage hunter and the location was pure heaven for me with lots of nice boutiques) - the guy at the reception was really nice amd helpful (he gave us a lot of information about where we can go and eat in madrid) - the apartment is nice and clean - really central and a perfect place for youngsters - supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within walking distance - plenty of toiletries - easy check in and check out - cute little balcony that was quite useful for us

- no options for recycling - THE NOISE coming from the street was outrageous for us (especially for the room facing the street) - we stayed there 3 nights and every night at 2-3 AM the trash was picked up and the noise shook us (I know it’s not the owners fault but if you you’re tired good luck sleeping there; i had ear plugs but weren’t helpful lol) - no AC (i imagine being quite hot in the summer)

I loved my stay here and my expectations were exceeded by a few things - the staff were SO attentive before my stay and during. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt like they had everything under control and answers to any of my questions. The towels were lovely - so big and fluffy, and the hairdryer was excellent - usually they only let out a whiff of air and it takes ages to dry your hair but this one was so powerful. Location was excellent - in a buzzy area of Madrid, really well-connected for both work and travelling for fun. Would definitely stay again.

The AC in my room kept breaking so every day I had to flip the switch in the electricity socket which was a little bit annoying. The staircase is also a little dark and I tripped down the stairs on the first floor landing a couple of times on my way out in the morning..

Perfect location, you can walk basically everywhere in Madrid. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurantes / cafés / pubs nearby. The apartment was comfortable and roomy. AC warmed the apartment quite quickly. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds (one a bit small with a bed against the wall) and a sofa bed in the living area. For 3 people it felt roomy, could sleep 6 but a bit crowded. Well furnished kitchen (coffee maker, stove, washing machine for clothes, microwave, fridge). Clean and well stocked with towels and linen. Easy and fast check in and check out.

Not very soundproof, you can hear everything from the street and inside the building.

Chose it for the location, blown away by comfort & amenities. Roomy ( by European standards), it has good beds, roomy living area with dining table, sofa & chairs; you can actually enjoy eating meals that you cooked or bought. Since it’s on a side street, it’s very quiet. It’s minutes away from the Noviciado metro station & about 10 minutes away from Gran Via, Plaza De España, Tribunal areas. Another plus this property has over other Rentals is that there is a front desk from 9AM that can check you in, help with arrangements like taxi, and answer questions about local stuff. We arrived 6 hours before check in time but were able to leave our bags with them. We were allowed to check in 2 hours early at no extra charge because a room became available.

Location great, check-in easy, staff friendly and helpful. Room/apartment actually exceeded my expectations with atmospheric 5m high vaulted ceiling and skylights, Juliette balcony to internal courtyard. No external view, or windows as such. Kitchenette ideal for me, bathroom and shower fine, washer/dryer worked well (4+ hour cycle) access to building and apartment easy.

A street view would have been nice, but really, not much to complain about!

The property was great and very easy to find by taxi. Reception staff were great and very helpful. The location on first view looked a bit rough but that is Madrid and throughout our stay there were plenty of people around and many bars and restaurants still open late so it felt very safe. The property has a lift and the facilities including air conditioning were very good with two en-suite bedrooms. It was very quiet at night. Where is really wins is on location and price, both brilliant for a weekend or longer break in Madrid. All the main things to see and do are within easy reach on foot when it’s not too hot but Madrid taxis are cheap compared to many other cities.

The apartment is spacious and very clean. All the amenities are provided: kitchenware, kettle, microwave, dishsoap, sponge, detergent, etc. The water is super strong and gets hot really fast. We had an apartment with terrace so it was very nice having lots of sunlight and fresh air. The apartment is close to 2 metro stations so very convenient to walk around. It is also close to Gran Via with many shops within about 5 minutes walk.

The property has 2 buildings; we lived in the one called Minas and there is no elevator in this building. The stairs is also small so it is difficult to bring up the luggages, especially if you have big ones.

Gran Central Suites Apartment was excellent overall. Kitchen had everything a household needs. Bathroom was neat and clean. Beds were comfy. Carrfour grocery was around the corner so Location was perfect. We were with 2 kids so location close to public transport was important and Noviciado Metro station was 2 min walk from the apartment. Lot of attractions were reachable by foot (Gran Via, Puerta Del Sol) from the apartment. Quite a few Halal takeaways and diners were available nearby.

Our room was facing Calle de las minas (street) and it was very very noisy. One of the day was bin collection and it was at 12 night and was very noisy. Most of the days it was noisy until 2 in the morning and quiet for few hour and back noisy from 4:30-5 in the morning.

Location is perfect, stuff is very nice and friendly. Location is good enough. Nearby there is a parking which costs 28€ per night. Apartment has everything you might need. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom is very good to! Beautiful view on old street from the balcony.

The only moment I was not very happy about is the window inside one of the rooms, which is going inside the public corridors, so when anyone goes upstairs, the light in corridor automatically turns on and you can see it from your bed. And it’s a little bit noisy in that room. but that’s only because the building is quite old, so this is not actually a problem, just like it is.
