Harbour Grand Hong Kong Hotel

The club room was great, wonderful staff excellent view. Very good location

We paid for a harbour view and got a corner room that didn’t have much of a view and was very dark as we were squeezed between the corners of the building. Asked to change they said they didn’t have another other than paying more for a premier room that wasn’t worth it.

My room on the 35th floor had a fabulous view over the harbour. Room was a good size and had a very comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast in the top floor restaurant was a great start to the day, Excellent location, just a few streets away from the Fortress Hill metro station. Conciergerie staff very helpful with directions and suggestions.

I was very disappointed that not only the swimming pool was closed for maintenance but also the spa. I had been looking forward to getting a massage and other treatments, and thought this was not really acceptable for this grade of hotel. Or at least is should have been made very clear in the description of the hotel.

-the interior of my room was outdated and with some cracks here and there. With a newer interior this hotel would been 9+ -checkin and checkout times

Superb view to Victoria Harbour and vessels traffic alongside Hong Kong strait. immediate access to ether Victoria Park and Causeway Bay or to Red Incense Burner Summit and Sir Cecil's Ride.

Beautiful building, clean and quite rooms with well working ac.

The room was a bit old, yet clean and comfy. The line for check in was pretty long, not ideal for a 5 star hotel.

The room service was good

There is no open window and the room was quite humid. The breakfast order and the signing process was very difficult

The property is really well equipped with all facilities for a wonderful vacation - excellent pool and steam & sauna facility, great breakfast spread with multiple options, gorgeous harbour views from the rooms! The icing on the cake is the Sky Terrace which is open to guests only on the 41st floor during the evenings - got some spectacular views of the Hong Kong skyline - with a fabulous view of both HK Island and Kowloon side during sunset and at night! The hotel is also conveniently located from the Fortress Hill MTR Station, Exit A and well connected to the buses and tram as well. We were really pleased with our housekeeper's service on the 26th floor. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch her name, but she greeted us so warmly every time we met in the corridor :)

The only issue we had is getting our second room 2.5 hour late from the check-in time. I had booked 2 rooms for our family of 4. We had requested early check-in since our flight landed at 9:30 am in HK. We got the first room at 1 pm, expecting the second room by check-in time which is 3 pm. But we didn't get the second room till 5:30 pm. In HK, the room sizes are anyway small and after a red-eye flight, four people in one room was very uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel and common spaces. We had paid for harbour view room and got a lovely view towards the east of Kowloon. We even requested a high floor which they accommodated for no extra cost. Location was great and near to MTR to get everywhere else. Breakfast was excellent with multiple different options and also had stations where several items were cooked fresh, not just out on the buffet, e.g. eggs, omelettes and pancakes/waffles. Gym was nice and clean and had options of equipment for a holiday session.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because I wanted a massage and the spa was full on every day of my stay so I couldn't get one! Restaurants were quite expensive so we didn't go to them as there is so many other options to eat in HK, but other than that we liked everything we used.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. The hotel is in a fantastic location well served by the excellent public transport network. Our club room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had a stunning view of Victoria Harbour. The nightly turnover service was a nice touch which we appreciated and the room cleaning staff were very courteous. Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff were hospitable and attentive. We also enjoyed using the club lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktails with it's fabulous view. All the staff we encountered couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harbour Grand and stay there again.
