Regal Kowloon Hotel

I like the location of the hotel.Near to subway station, shopping area and food establishment. I booked 2 rooms since we are a family of 6, I request it to be in the same floor with a nice view and they we're able to gave us a connecting room for our convenient and easy access to one another. The rooms are pretty big and clean. For the staff, they are very polite and helpful.

Conveniently located as most of the attractions viz. Victoria harbour, avenue of stars, art museum, science museum, museum of history, metro stations etc. are nearby at walking distance. Room amenities were of fine quality. I specially liked the window side sofa with a nice view outside. Beds were comfy with fine quality linens. TV channels were intelligently choosen - there was a hindi channel! There are a plenty of eateries nearby including Subway & McDonald's apart from local choices. Pin drop silence for a good night's sleep!

So many entrances, I was cofused at first; but that was for convenience as I could figure out later.

The location is great. Plenty of shops and restaurants all around it. We walked to watch the laser light show on the water - probably about a 25 minute walk strolling as we went. If not wanting to walk, you can get an inexpensive Uber ride easily as well. A shuttle is offered to the airport as well, cheaper than a taxi. It is an attractive hotel with restaurant and other eating options. We ate at the Italian restaurant there and it was good. The bar is nice also.

There was some mix-up checking in. We got to our room and had 2 single beds instead of a queen. They were able to switch us to the right room. I think there were a couple less experienced people at the desk but all was made well. The rooms and hotel look very nice so I was surprised that the caulking around the tub didn’t look very nice. It’s an easy fix that I hope they will address.

Room was great. They have soft pillow and bed was comfortable.

The lobby area should have a space where guests can sit (no lounge or sitting area) or hopefully have free refreshements like water or tea while waiting for check in. Since there are no seats in the lobby, the guests tend to sit on the staircase but were asked not to as it is not allowed to sit there. I also find it amusing that the comfort rooms are located in the 2nd floor and you will need to ask for a comfort room key to use it even you are a hotel guest. The hotel is kinda old and needs refurbishing.

Finding a perfect place to stay when you are out of your comfort zone is one of the challenges before you fly out of the country. This time, it's Hong Kong - postpandemic trip with the parentals. It isn't that easy to look for a good place in HK especially when you want to give out the best trips with your family. You don't just consider the photos from websites, sponsored or unsponsored vlogs, reviews and their prices but I am very picky as to which hotel to book: Accessibility, Comfort, Elegance - - in which Regal Kowloon Hotel has it all! Special thanks to the Regal Kowloon Team: Dennis Dulay, Teddy from the concierge and King for their warm welcome and assistance. Our first, in Regal Kowloon Hotel is mi casa es su casa. Executive guest room is spacious for a family or 3-4 pax, bigger than other hotels in HKG. The elegance, ambience and the scent made the room cozy & relaxing. High quality toppers & soft pillows, comfortable beds indeed which suits our preference. Bathroom and toilet are kept clean and tidy. Everything is perfectly working. Hence, our stay is more than what we expected. Most importantly, services from the team are topnotch! From check-in to room service to check-out. Overall, it is worth staying here when you are in Hong Kong whether for a quick stay for business or leisure.

I liked the room size and ammenities provided by the hotel. The television show options where great for the family. Was very impressed with the window seat area which made the room seem larger.

Didn't like the lack of enough large towels provided. We travelled as a family of 4 and we only received 2 large towels and some smaller towels which was really not big enough for a bath towel.

I booked this hotel with some worry because the rating was kind of low, like 6.4 or so, but I got a good offer for first night at some 880 HKD so I went ahead. For me the stay was more than good and very valuable at that price I got: some small improvements are possible, but to me it seems to be very underrated on past reviews. Second nght the price was much higher so I moved to a different hotel but is ok.

No electric plug in bathroom to shave.

Fantastic location, close to avenue of stars, science museum and MTR stations. Room was very comfortable and we had it cleaned daily. Amenities were always replaced. We loved that it had a bath also! Lovely views of the square. We really had a fantastic stay here.

It got VERY busy at times during check in but the queues quickly went down. The high volume meant there was often a wait for the lifts.

Staff was very kind. When we arrived early in the morning after a long flight of 20+ hours, the front desk staff listened to our need and surprisingly able to accommodate us. We all said woohoo and couldn’t express enough our appreciation.
