Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong

Staff are super nice and friendly and reception was very helpful when we requested for anything. The room provided a hairdryer, a kettle and some mugs which were a plus but no coffee or tea packs.

Location was a bit far from banks but nothing too serious, it was just a 5-10 minute walk but after an exhausting day it would be a bit annoying but it's alright. Breakfast service is a 8/10 a bit sad they didn't have any cold drink options, the closest thing was tap water. There also wasn't any conditioner in the shower so I had to go but from the closest convenience store.

You get what you pay for and Rosedale delivers what you pay for... a clean comfortable bed to sleep in, a basic but perfectly acceptable bathroom, and an adequate breakfast, all in a very good location. The room had USB ports which were a useful extra that was not expected at this level of hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the concierge desk on the ground floor who organized taxis gave directions, and translated destination addresses from English to Chinese in case it was required.

There was no bar and no restaurant other than breakfast. This may be a reflection of the fact that there are numerous restaurant and drinking opportunities within a short walk. A night light in the bathroom would be a welcome addition for those who might need it.

The location was perfect. Public transport right at the Junction of the hotel. Also Victoria Park across the road was a plus. A short 5 minute walk we can be at the busy hub of causeway Bay with numerous cuisines to choose and shopping precincts that would satisfy any traveller looking for styles and a little bargain. The staff were polite and ready to serve. All in all a very pleasant stay. I gave a 9 instead of a 10 is I was hoping for more shelves in our wardrobe to put our clothes in neatly during our stay.

There were 3 lifts and sometimes they were already full when they reached our floor. If one of them can be allocated to service higher floors going up the waiting time could be less. This is just nit picking to find some criticism per se.

I really liked my stay with yours. The best is the location. Very near the Victoria park ❤️ For me walk in the Victoria park was a therapy and so relax.. I stayed hours there. I loved the location of this hotel . Is very clean too. Is not a old hotels. Was very nice

The breakfast was so good .. so I win a bit weight 😂 ( joking). The luck I had the Victoria park near to walk and lost weight! I loved breakfast but if sometimes you diversified the breakfast options a little. It would be even better... That's a problem I found: you don't provide extra bottles of water, right? not even if the customer pay for that your hotel don’t provide it. It's difficult for customers to realize late at night that there is no more water in the room so they have to go out the hotel late night to try found a shop , 7/11 to buy bottles of water. the hotel could organize themself about this. This is my kind advice😉. The hotel could have a restaurant. Would be great too.

staffs are warm and nice, location is good, 3 mins walk to the Causeway bay, also near to A11 bus station to airport. have 7-11, McDonald and super market downstairs.

We did not include breakfast in our booking, but decided to purchase it separately. Good choice of meals and excellent tea. Good value overall.

Vehicular access was difficult. We arrived about 11pm and drove into the hotel garage, but no-one was on duty and there was no response from the buzzer. We had to search for the doorway to the hotel reception to rouse the concierge. Also, when leaving we asked the concierge for a taxi, but he was unable to get one. The problem is that the hotel is tucked away in a side street away from through traffic. In the end the concierge helped us drag our luggage to the main street for us to hail a taxi. Where he left us was marked by double yellow lines meaning taxis could not stop legally, so we decided to haul our luggage 50 metres along the street where we successfully hailed a taxi after a few minutes.

There was always staff to talk to and they were polite and helpful. The hotel was really very nice looking for an affordable hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Rosedale is in a very convenient location, right next to Victoria park, all the bus stops and tramway. We had a fantastic view from our window.

The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was noisy and the bedroom itself was not very big. Also the hotel did not have an affordable laundry service (you could bring in your laundry to reception desk, but it was ridiculously expensive so we didnt use it). Finally, there was no cafe/restaurant open for the evening. These are the only negative points I would have for the hotel.

It’s prime location! Very accessible to all types of transportation. You can go anywhere from shopping to restaurants all are in a walking distance.

I just hope they have a bidet in the bathroom and bottled water instead of the one in a water jag. Also the breakfast i wish next time they can change the menu every other day at least there’s a cycle of food. The elevator is really busy, waiting time during check out is crazy. So i advice everyone to check out early.

The location is very convenient. Staffs are friendly.

The aircon in the room is not strong enough. The lift lobby music is quite loud which you can hear from the room. There were also strong cigarette smell in the corridor which gets into our room during the last week of our stay. We’ve notified the front desk, but it kept happening for a few nights in a row.

The location is great, you can easily move around with the tram or MTR. Also Victoria Park is just outside the door. We had a room at 31F and the view was awesome! The bed was also super comfy. Good, basic breakfast.

It's getting a bit dated, although everything worked and the room was cleaned very well. The bathroom could be slightly bigger and I also don't really care for the combined tub/shower situation.
