What a perfect place!! From the lovely staff, amazing breakfast, attentive service, gorgeous and peaceful rooftop pool and sun beds, and spa in the rock hewn basement. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - and I have travelled all over the world.

Nothing ( trying hard I’d only say that a kettle to make tea alongside the coffee machine in the room would be nice but hey I’m picking!)

Staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. The overall decor of the hotel was tasteful and complemented the age of the building. The rooms were of a good size and creatively decorated. Room facilities were very good. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and were there until late to offer a turn down service. Room service was outstanding. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of fruit, pastries and hot meals.

More of a neutral - our room had a large roll top bath with a shower on the side. Probably my fault for not checking - a separate shower would be preferable. Wifi was a little slow, however, I'm used to very fast home broadband. The room was separated from the bathroom by a large glass screen and a curtain which meant privacy was compromised.

From the moment we arrived we knew we would love this property, with our welcome drink and fabulously relaxed check-in process, whilst sitting in a beautiful old courtyard with a fountain... This property is stunning and we will be returning to stay for a long weekend on business in January 2024. The property mixes the modern with the old features and does it beautifully and very tastefully. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated and lovely bedding. The bed was so comfortable..excellent quality. We loved the rain shower in the bathroom. There is a delightful rooftop pool which we used and the breakfast was just superb. We cant wait to return..and you must visit - as you are right in the heart of pretty Valletta, with cafes and bars on your doorstep but in a pretty and quiet street so you do not hear any noise at all. Just spectacular and so clean with the most welcoming staff.

No complaints about anything.

Small very old building hotel with only 13 rooms & therefore petite & completely renovated. People very friendly and breakfasts gave excellent choices. Location was great for accessing all Valletta visitor attractions especially the Brakka gardens for splendid views of the Grand Harbour. Hotel is very close to main pedestrianised area with lots of eateries (prices approximately English level) & a little further on access to cross harbour small boatman crafts (that only accommodate maximum 6 people)

TV required 3 control units as they were changing technology so it became fiddly and they should consider adding an English speaking movie channel as most programs were non-English and many of the guests we poke with were English/Scottish.

Location no more than a 5 minute walk to the centre, bus station was the furthest thing away at 10-15 minute slow walk. Staff were fantastic, they could not do enough for you. Rooms were large and on two levels so it made it feel like children had one room and us another. The pool, it is only small but big enough for children and us to play in. Breakfast lots of different options.

The bed - hotel gave us two twin beds for children as requested which was perfect for them, but this meant we were on a sofa bed which was not comfortable at all. Pillows were either really soft or like rocks. Children’s beds were comfortable. The shower flooded the floor every time we used it, we had plenty of towels so it wasn’t a problem.

From the moment we arrived, our every need was taken care of with calm professional efficency. The whole ambience and atmosphere was low key elegance. The room was beautiful and quirky with cute little touches. The rooftop terrace was bathed in sunshine from morning until evening and the perfect place to enjoy a coffee in a morning or wine in an evening. The Spa could be booked for your own personal use by the hour, and the hot stone massage was sublime. The breakfast was excellent, and the service prompt but not pushy.

There was literally nothing not to like.

Absolutely perfect location, close enough from everything in Valletta but just outside of the busy and loud streets. Superb underground pool, 28°C water is a bliss to recuperate from a long day of walking up and down in Malta. And since you can book it for yourself for 1h you can enjoy a truly peaceful moment. Superb rooftop as well. The hotel has charm and character, the bed was just perfect: not too hard, not too soft. Excellent breakfast, the à la carte is just perfect as well, enough choice to have variety but not too much to get lost. I'd recommend it to any couple coming to Malta for a few days. Kudos to Ton at the reception desk as well, he shared great advice with us on what was worth seeing, doing, and even shared a list of great places to eat.

I'm having to nitpick here since almost everything was perfect, but i'd say the room lacks a rack for the towels to dry properly.

Super front of house staff who were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Turn down service in the evening with great housekeepers who checked we had everything we needed. Central location but quiet and surrounded by all types of restaurants from pizzeria to Michelin starred. 5 mins from ferry to Gozo and 3 Cities and 10mins from the local bus terminal to explore beautiful Malta. The Palazzo is a beautifully renovated home and still has the special feel of this despite being a hotel. Very unique. Highly recommended. Evenings on the roof terrace are sublime if there is music wafting across the rooftops.

Unfortunately the steam room was out of order all week (these things happen and being an island takes a while to fix) but the jacuzzi didn't work properly and it wasn't cleaned daily.

The hotel is stunning and breathtaking. When you walk into the entrance it’s like a grotto or looks like a health spa. Very tranquil and great decor. Fantastic facilities and staff who go the extra mile for you. By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. This place is totally my vibe and I highly recommend anyone to stay there when visiting Valletta.

The fact that I only stayed there for less than a night due to booking the hotel as I had to take a flight so didn’t get to experience all of the facilities. I’m definitely staying there for my next trip to Malta

Outstanding service, nothing was too much trouble. Great location with all the major attractions within a few minutes walk (no need for cabs or buses, walking is quicker). Private use of the spa which is free to use. Fantastic breakfast with a large range of hot (cooked to order) & cold options. A welcome cocktail was provided on arrival & as they knew the trip was for my partners birthday, they decorated our room for her whilst we were out. The rooftop pool was a bonus.

We had a small issue with the bed linen which was soon rectified.
