Blubay Apartments by ST Hotels

Staff was very nice and deserve 10 of 10. This goes to stuff in blue bay app and also to the stuff in hotel where we had breakfast. Room was nice sized. Also for paking place there is no problem. There is a lot of public parking and it is free. Also location is great - just enough away from all noise at nigh but only few steps (like 3 min walk) from all bars and restaurants of all types. For going out at evening this is great location. Also in same street there are at least 4 supermarkets (first is one min away) which is very convenient also because for buying drinking water. For Sliema there is ap. 5-10 min walk.

I looked room with the kitchen because I wanted to prepare meals for my baby. Otherwise I would look for regular room. I was suprised how small amount of dishes there was - only one pan and one pot without lid and that was all. No board for cutting or knife - there was only knife for cuting bread that was not suitable for cutting vegetables or meat or pealing an apple. So I bought one knife for all that which cost was 2 eur. That is my suggestion for managment because is no cost but it means a lot. One more pot would be also great because I needed to boil water for baby and with one pot is difficult to cook food at same time.

- good location in Gzira, close to the waterfront boulevard and main ST hotel building (with great terrace and small but nice swimming pool) - spacious rooms (we had 2 bedrooms option) with 2 balconies - frequent cleaning and replacement of towels

- kitchen is big, but the equipment is rather modest. Electric stove poorly working, frying pan very worn, no sponge and washing up liquid - hand soap only in one bathroom (and we had two) - although there were additional blankets, it is quite cold in the rooms in winter so you need to warm up with the AC -

Great location and views from room were stunning. Large apartment with plenty of space for a family. TV had streaming services which was good during a long stay with kids. AC in every room worked well in the summer heat. Kitchen well equipped with large fridge, oven, microwave and basic cooking utensils. We were able to make a few family meals.

Rooms were cleaned every day but the cleaning was very slap dash. Cleaners came an werr therr for just moments then left. No benches wiped and during a 2 week stay they did not clean the bathrooms properly even once. A little disappointing because the apartment was nice and would be really great if they were cleaned well. Also no cleaning detergent, sponge, dish cloth or tea towel so couldn't clean the kitchen or bathroom properly myself.

After reading reviews I was worried but our 3 bedroom Seaview apartment was perfectly fine for our needs. Large 2 storey apartment with a large living area, kitchen and balcony and the most perfect Seaview. Kitchen equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, oven, kettle and lots of Crockery. Only thing was no dishcloths or liquid but reception provided it quickly. Location is great, on main bus route and close to a great range of restaurants and bars, shops etc. The main hotel where you use the rooftop pool, sauna, spa facilities is a 2 min walk away. Will stay again. Hotel staff very friendly, cleaners lovely, Sebastian the rooftop bar supervisor very friendly, helpful and professional.

Beds could be more comfortable but after busy days they are okay.

Price - quality ratio is amazing. Clean and comfy apartments for a relatively cheap price.

Some minor things to notice - was a bit cold in January (A/C does not have a heating function), missing some kitchen utensils like a chopping board, a simple kitchen knife (all of the knives provided were butter knives, they made it difficult to chop/slice various foods while preparing dishes), sponge to wash dishes.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The AC was amazing! Having access to the two closest ST hotel pools was the icing on the cake. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is located in sliema which is a great location to be between the hustle and bustle of Placeville/St Juliens and Valletta.

The property doesn’t supply the basics like cleaning products but there is a shop next door where you can buy these things, however it is quite expensive. Only one of the rooms had a mirror so it was quite difficult when getting ready. We also only had one towel per room despite them being double rooms.

A beautiful vacation, the view from the balcony is fantastic. The beautiful, clean and very spacious apartment (living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), equipped with everything you need. I received clean towels every day. It was a pleasure to sit in the evening on the balcony, to admire the view, the ships and the wonderful Valetta. The location was excellent, close to terraces, restaurants and shops. I warmly recommend the Italian Restaurant at the entrance to the hotel! Very close to Aqua Luna, the beach, and the pool on the roof of the hotel, not very big but enough to cool off. I recommend with love! We will return here for sure!

Location was excellent. Convenient for the ferry to Valletta and day trips to the Blue Lagoon. Good choice of bars and restaurants on doorstep. Fabulous view.

The apartments are in separate buildings dotted around the main hotels and offer great space but you are sharing the blocks with people who aren't t renting from the hotel. Overall our block was quiet but we did experience some noise from one or two inconsiderate residents for example, the man who would bang on doors whilst shouting into his phone on his way to work each morning.

Lovely landing place in Malta. Close to everything, with superb stuff to take care of guests - always there to help and advise. It is quite simple - so some more demanding guest might look for more outstanding hotels, but as Malta has such a superb variety of places to visit, Bluebay offers an practical and absolutely value-for-money option for those who do not want to invest too much in the hotel part of the journey

I like more or less everything - but for someone who wants to be close to the party- I'd suggest St.Julian, those who need superb comfort and center - I'd suggest Valetta. Giza is in the middle of the two :)

We were in Blubay apartment. In General, this apartment is perfect for the money. In Blubay(aka Fleet hotel), there is a pool but, we couldn't swim because it is an outdoor pool. We asked them if they can warm it for us. We were allowed it swim in a different hotel... a sort of offer...(I would say)...we liked the spa, indoor pool, and sauna services from a sister hotel called Bayview which was actually for free for us. Moreover, the staff were positive for every request we had.....Nice of them.

There were molds on ceilings of the bedroom and bathroom. Besides, we didn't like that they have few and dirty kitchen utensils.
