Hotel Argento

The room was way more spacious that I had imagined and every time we went out and came back, the room was back to being spotless! The receptionists were super friendly and (Irshan) was super helpful on our first day and printed out activities/prices of things we want to do and gave us good restaurant/club recommendations. The lounge in front of the reception is also super aesthetic. Location is in the centre of St Julians, really easy to get to places!

I would have preferred more variety in the breakfast menu. Shower temperature became colder during evenings and was more chilly in room. overall: still great value for money and really nicely designed rooms.

location, modern, very spacious room and bathroom, helpful staff, rooms are cleaned everyday, u can contact reception anytime. rooftop pool and sundeck- unfortunately, it was raining most of the time during my stay so unable to use it although i went and checked it out.

hot breakfast needs much improvements fridge inside the room only keep cold drinks cold but doesn’t do anything to room-temp drinks

The hotel really exceeded my expectations. The location was amazing, with two bus stops right around the corner and in the middle of St Julian’s busy streets full of restaurants, shops, and pubs. It was a close walk to the bay. Even though it’s in the middle of this busy area, you don’t hear anything once you’re in your room. Upon arrival, Samantha was an amazing host. She explained everything to us: where to go and which buses to take, lots of information and just super super friendly in general. She always helped with a smile on her face and took her time whenever we had questions. This really was a plus! The room (family suite) was spacious and had everything we needed. The only remark I have is that the beds aren’t what I’m used to and like, but that is personal. Also, the water pressure in the shower was not very strong but nothing insurmountable. The room itself had a small balcony and the A/C worked fine. It was also very clean. The pool and rooftop had views of the bay and St Julian’s. The pool was nice; it wasn’t too busy and it was clean. Good place to relax after seeing Malta. Then, last but not least, the breakfast was amazing. One of the better ones I’ve had in my life. It had everything you could wish for: full English breakfast, fresh fruit, pastizzi’s (yum), cereal, cake, donuts, other pastries… You could even ask to prepare waffles, pancakes, omelettes, fried eggs, soft boiled eggs.. It really was a good start of the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

As I’ve mentioned, the beds were a bit old/hard and the water pressure in the shower was low. But nothing insurmountable. Also, the area (St Julian’s) is mainly for young people who like to party, I think, so maybe somewhere else would be better if you like it calm. But we didn’t really care as we couldn’t hear a thing in our room.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The room was clean and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent breakfast, pristine rooms, and welcoming staff.

The toilet was leaking water when we arrived, and we notified the hotel about it. However, there was no one available to fix it, and when they came to the room, we were not there. I think for a 4-star hotel, these things should be part of their daily maintenance. Clearly, it was something that had already been happening.

The location was the best, the bus stop was very close, also storrs, bars, restaurants, clubs and beaches. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel room was enaugh big and light.

The balcony was very small and there wasn't a space to dry a towel and swim suit after beach or swimming pool. The сloset was very small and had only 4 hangers. The bathroom was enaugh big, but had only 2 small shelves, so there was not enaugh space for my things. The shower cabin didn't have any shelf. So you had to put a shower gel or shampoo on the floor or hold it in your hand when you took a shower. And one day they said me on the reception, that is possible they will charge for dirty towel, that they found in my room between the cleaning ( there was a bit makeup on my towel). So I was very angry, because I travel a lot and I've never seen that before.

Good hotel near to Spinola Bay of St.Julian. The room was very clean at our arrival and the towels were changed daily. The roof pool is very nice. Illimited coffee caps provided by reception. Good drinks made by roof pool bar 😋 Italian socket near the bed much appreciated.

Although the towels were changed daily and the cleaning service was done daily, the floor of our room was not cleaned properly because we found our hair. Anyway, the room was very clean when we arrived. Room furniture: In the bathroom there were no power sockets or lights around the mirror. We didn't like the towel shelf positioned above the toilet (a bit unconfortable) and there was only a small shelf (really small) for the toothbrush and toilet kit.

The breakfast were great. Clean rooms. Good locality with perfect accessibility to anywhere on the island. Even though the hotel is pretty close to the party area in St. Julians, it was pretty quiet, apart from construction works during the day on workdays. The hotel has cool rooftop pool with pretty big resting area with nice views.

The room was little bit small, but OK for 11 nights stay. The AC in our room was slow to cool down the place and was not able to cool it below 23 degrees celsius, which took at least 2 hours. The beds were kind of small. The last issue is noisy construction works next to the hotel, but that is hardly their fault. There are a lot of constructions all around malta currently.

Loved the location. It was central access to sites and eating. It was also a street away from the party goers and not in the midst so very comfortable for me and my daughter. I didn't have to worry about drunk people. St. Julians seem to be a place where many people go to celebrate their bachelor/bachelorette parties, but once you go outside of July/August you will enjoy yourself. This Hotel gave you rooftop views from the pool area of the Bay as well as decent breakfast. All in all a great experience

My only minor qualm was there were no washcloths in the bathrooms. May be a European thing as its been a while since i traveled to Europe. Also, I didnm't like when they cleaned the rooms they turned the aircon off, but you can just let the front desk know Like I said, minor things that didn't take away from the experience.

The room was big, clean and comfortable. Good AC which was important in July :) Very helpful and friendly staff, also breakfast was nice.

There is no drinking water in the room, but as I understand that is a common thing in Malta. There is 24/7 store down the street, but do remember to buy water :) Also, it was noisy outside, but that is what you can expect from St. Julians.
