Hotel Valentina

The staff here are exceptional. They could not do enough to accommodate us, especially Dario, booking taxis, restaurants etc and dealing with any issues promptly and with a smile. A great employee culture here. The hotel general manager walked round all the tables at breakfast one day, checking all the guests were happy! The suite is excellent, a great size, a large bathroom with double sink, plenty of space and two balconies. The pool on the 8th floor is an oasis, very relaxing. The breakfasts are very good, both hot and cold, with a choice of cold meats, and cheeses, fresh fruit etc.

We had booked a double room, which overlooked a bar that only shut at 4am. The air con didn't work and we got little sleep on the 1st night before being moved to a superb suite for a discounted additional charge. The difference between the double rooms and the suites is massive... we'd only ever book a suite next time. The location is on the edge of noisy Paceville in a scruffy area, and a fair walk to decent restaurants, but close to the bus stop

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to Spinola Bay and other nearby towns. Bus stop 2 minute walk from hotel. Large selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance from hotel. The room was spotless, bed was really comfortable and housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast had a large selection that catered for all tastes and requirements. The pool and pool bar were excellent. The food at pool bar also very tasty and the staff were so friendly. The staff really made my stay even better! Friendly, accomadating and always there to answer any questions. The hotel bar is also very nice. Again, staff were super friendly, particularly José, who is a legend! Will definitely stay here again when I return to Malta! Thanks to all the staff for making my stay a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable one!

This Place is just so neat, sparkling and Gorgeous, I lack words to describe it, like it was a 10 star 🌟 for me, couldn't fault them in anyway, the staffers were so polite, well dressed, looked so adorable and always ready to serve and help in anyway they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I lost one of my key cards when I went out for one of my tour trips and the receptionist replaced it quickly and easily at no cost at all. I was charged a fee in a hotel I lodged in Dubai when a similar thing happened. The rooftop Pool area is extraordinary, phenomenal is the word, they made sure we enjoyed our stay at St Julian. Thanks alot guys, u guys have a really great team there, thanks so much, please keep up the good work. The 10% discount at their restaurant close by was also helpful as well... thank you Hotel Valentino for making our stay memorable, I deeply appreciate. If I visit again, this will sure be the top of my list. Anything less than a 10 star 🌟 rating for me will be grossly unfair.

Nothing, It was Gorgeous, I Loved everything.

- The hotel is still pretty new and modern with tidy rooms and daily room cleaning service. - The location is great with many restaurants and bars within few minutes walking distance. - The hotel offers room service from the nearby Restautant with pretty cheap prices.

- No power sockets in the bathroom :( - After a long stay the same breakfast buffet is pretty boring. It was annoying that during breakfast buffet self serving was not allowed.

Super nice and helpful staff, rooftop bar and pool really nice, breakfast was good, good location (quite nice connection to basically everywhere you wanna go in Malta)

Bit overpriced for what you get, Outdated and used furniture, Rooms quite small (we were a couple in a room that is supposed to be for 3, and it was already way too small), And some rooms pointing towards the patio (as ours) are dark and noisy (kitchen starts at 6 and is super loud, central aircondition super noisy, and no sunlight gettin there the entire day), so if u get one of those ask for any other available room to do yourself a favour

Hotel Valentina is a 3 star hotel that looks like and has the customer service of a 4-5 star hotel. We were impressed with how clean it was and how helpful the staff were. The AC was perfect for the hot weather, we received a free welcome drink and the pool is lovely. Location wise, it was close to many restaurants and bars and isn’t too far from the water. Keep in mind that this hotel is by the party area, so if noise is a problem, bring earplugs. However, we had no issues with noise at night. We only stayed for 2 nights but we’re very impressed with Hotel Valentina! It’s also close to the airport, about a 20-25 minute drive with traffic.

A great find in the heart of Saint Julian’s. It’s surrounded by nightclubs, but tucked off on a side street, so no issues with noise whatsoever. The staff were brilliant. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked (with iron, hairdryer, great toiletries). The staff were all very friendly, from the time we arrived right up until checkout. The breakfast was good, and the lobby bar was a great addition. We spent plenty of time sitting and chatting in the comfortable lobby sofas with a beer after a full day out. Would definitely stay again.

Toilet in a separate space from sink and shower, but not a major issue.

Overall a class establishment. In terms of the service and room, doubt there are many better hotels in Malta.

Breakfast, severely let down by choice and no self service. During our trip in Malta we stayed at 3 hotels, yours is the only one that does allow self service. It doesn't work, slow and restrictive. Not your fault but the location is pretty grim, as is St. Julian's.

Very friendly staff. Made me feel very welcome including a welcome drink on my arrival! The hotel is well located, within a good walking distance to Paceville, Spinola Bay and to connect to the rest of Malta - Sliema and Valetta - by bus. Would recommend for any visitor to Malta. The room I stayed in was very nice, clean and great facilities and sundries.

I stayed in a room closer to the front entrance and therefore heard a lot of the party goers in Paceville which meant that on some nights it was very noisy and I woke up a few times during the night.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. On arrival we were given a complimentary drink from the bar and snacks. Our room was beautiful, extremely clean and very very comfortable too. It is in a quite location but very central to all resteraunts and bars. Public transport is also close by and very reliable. Also Airport transfers were arranged for us, our Taxi driver, sorry I can't remember his name .....he was so nice & friendly and gave us as much information on our journey from Airport to Hotel as he could and we found it very helpful during our stay . So Thank you to him as well. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hotel Valentina to anyone coming to stay in St Julian's, book it you wil not be disappointed.
