1926 Le Soleil Hotel & Spa

The staff are extremely friendly and take very good care of their guests. You are definitely in good hands at this hotel. The breakfast was also very tasty and above all warm. The location of the hotel is quite good, you can reach the bus stops on foot in a few minutes.

The main picture appears that the hotel has a pool, especially as the photo is the main picture but it doesn't. The pool is at a beach club down the road and was closed when we attended due to it being out of season.

The rooms were clean and there was AC. The breakfast was really good, the tastiest scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice 💛 The pool area was in a good place and usually quite chill 👍

Was surprised that when doing the check in, the receptionist didn't give any introduction about the hotel and what is possible to do there. Just confirmed that we have reservation and here is the room code and that's it. Had to specifically ask when is the breakfast and where it is. Had to go and find the pool area myself and later found out that there is a spa area and complimantory boat trips. Would have the receptionist told us about it, would have gone to spa and boat trips as well but we learned about them too late.

I do not have words to describe this fabulous hotel. I do not see why people are putting low grades,they do not deserve this. This hotel is a perfect example how every hotel should look like. From Staff which are kind, professional. Rooms are so clean, comfy, lighty, great cosmetics in the bathrooms. Great SPA, a special Praise for Tatiana. Great food in the restaurant. This hotel is the best Value for the money. Beach club fabulous so so great. Message to manager please keep this team members of the hotel. They are the pure gold of the hotel.

Had an excellent short stay at 1926 Hotel & Spa - the hotel is well located, clean throughout and well maintained, nice rooms, comfortable beds with good amenities, wide choice at breakfast and an excellent spa, overall is very good value for money. Staff are friendly and efficient and overseen by a brilliant manager Alen who runs a tight ship and whos a really nice guy who cant do enough for you - nothing was too much trouble for him, he even arranged a private spa session for us with free drinks included to ensure we could get the most from our short break. Would definitely return here and many other hotels could learn from Alen and his teams customer centred approach. Top Marks :)

The beach club was excellent, as were both the restaurants (at the beach club and in the hotel itself). The welcome drink was also a nice touch.

The housekeeping service seemed to come round very early, and then didn't clean one of our rooms until we requested it to be done late in the day.

Hotel was near the beach, convenient for cafes, restaurants, and local buses. Tourist information was also available within the surrounding area. My room was clean and decorated tastefully. I used the gym everyday, and since discovered that they will be providing a larger gym in the near future. The pool (also a hydropool) was large enough for laps. I liked the low lighting. I used the steam room and if needed there is also a sauna. Breakfast was good and there is a restaurant on site should in case you decide to dine in.

There is a numbered key lock to open my designated room and it took numerous times to key in the number before the door opened.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful facilities, the hotel is in the centre of Sliema, and it is just a few minutes walk from the beach and the shopping centre. Amazing staff and were always happy to help!

The shower facility is not the best, water overflows into the main area and you have no choice than to put towels on the floor to prevent slipping and falling.

Breakfast was good, the room like on the fotos, with a small balcony. Was nice and a nice rooftop with a nice view. One could use the spa for free which was really nice. There was an indoor pool ( with jacuzzi functions, if you press the buttons on the side of the pool), sauna, Turkish bath(was not working unfortunately)

In the pool my bf got hurt/cut by something on the bottom of the pool which created an injury which was bleeding and could not walk properly for a week. The staff provided first aid but no compensation or anything.as it was end of Nov the pool in the other hotel was not open unfortunately.

The staff were great and very welcoming. The amenities offered by the hotel were nice such as yoga, a bus trip and sunset cruise with complementary Prosecco. Once we were moved to the room we had booked, the room was great and the cleaning staff were brilliant, providing new towels and making sure everything was spotless.

We had to move room after our first night, as it wasn't the room that we had booked, as it didn't have a balcony. The staff were great and changed that for us the next day. The outdoor pool was inaccessible for 7 out of our 9 nights here which was one of the main reasons booking the hotel. Although the pool is weather permitted, no alternative was provided such as a subsidiary to another pool by the bay. The indoor pool could only be booked per hour and was quite busy during this time too. The breakfast could have a bit more of a selection, with only scrambled egg being offered and having to pay extra for other forms.
