I like that the room was clean and smells clean and spacious. The indoor water park was a great bonus!!! I just wish that there's no additional fee for the tube slide and lazy river for guest that are staying in the hotel.

I hope they have continental breakfast for staying guests. I wish they would replace loud/noisy airconditioning units, it always wakes us up during our sleep. Not enough water inflatables in the swimming area. We basically need to wait for a while for somebody to give up their inflatable for others to use. Lots of deflated floaties are lying on the side and not fixed so others can use it.

I liked that I didn't have to battle to get out of the parking lot after the show I went to at the Alerus Center. And the price was great for not having to deal with traffic to get out. Their beds were just a little better than most hotel beds, which are usually too firm.

It seems all hotel pillows are the same. They look soft and fluffy, but as soon as any weight is added to them, they become hard and hurt my ears and neck. Also, it seems most hotel beds are the same as well, mostly too firm.

Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Connection to the Alerus Center for our event was great.

There were two events in the conference center and PBR Rodeo in the arena. Tavern United was very understaffed for a Saturday night with 3 large events on property. We waited for a table (expected), but when we got a table we waited 45 minutes for server to take our order and finally left without ordering.

I'm putting both likes and dislikes here because last time they didn't post what I didn't like. Likes - pool, Tavern United, Garbonzos and arcade. Dislikes - bed was messy (made in a hurry), only 3 lumpy pillows per queen bed, remote for TV not working, front desk didn't answer calls (x2), bathroom door lock broken, guy manning splasher's island was rude. Will not be staying there again.

The Waterpark was a big hit with grandkids. It was attached to the event we attended at the Alerus.

The Alerus blocked off our path back to the hotel after the event and we had to take our littles outside in the cold,very windy weather without coats. This was very frustrating because we received an email saying that the doors would be open for the event!!

The rooms were nice sized and the beds were very comfortable. They were great about supplying towels, extra blankets and whatever else we needed. The waterpark was awesome! Even though it was busy it was big enough where it didn't feel like it. The kids had a great time! We also liked the arcade to pass some time playing games. It was a great way to help with the winter blahs without having to travel very far.

When bringing a family to a hotel one of the first things we check on is a continental breakfast. I think that would be a great addition to the hotel. It gets expensive to pay for the hotel, the waterpark and then needing to eat out for all your meals. The only other thing would have been the waterpark from all the chemicals the kids started coughing after being there for awhile. Not sure how that can be helped.

The access to and from the concert that we attended. The room was what was expected with the bunk beds for the kids. Enough towels for the whole family.

Went for concert and stayed one more night to enjoy the waterpark, which was having maintenance done. The restaurant that offered breakfast did not have great reviews and was not open most of the time we were at the hotel. Had to look for food outside the hotel.

closeness to the venue

the bed closest to the door had two metal pieces sticking out. me and my wife both hit it with our ankles. for a room to cost $300 should not have anything sticking out to hurt the customer. I did take a picture of the issue and showed the check out lady but all she said was sorry

Everything you need is there. Food, fun, and location. Checked in, had good food, walked to the Alerus center that is attached, enjoyed the concert, had more food and fun at the pub and didn’t have to bother with the traffic that went on for hours after. Definitely recommend especially if you are going to anything at the Alerus. Very clean, friendly staff, and three choices for food. The water park looked like fun for all ages.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. They were able to get our rooms together as it was us and our grown kids and their families. Being connected to the Splashers water park is a plus also.
