We were greeted with the smell of fresh cookies baking and then had a positive check in with the friendly and helpful staff. Facility is clean and the room was clean and comfortable. Location is excellent as it is close to shopping and restaurants. It appears to have had some updating since we were last here when it was the Roadking Inn. Pool area is inviting and clean with lots of seating and tables.

The shower pressure could have been better. Maybe if the shower heads were descaled this might help. Two of the four hot tubs were closed at the time, but the 2 that were operational were clean and hot.

The breakfast was very good with a great variety. The gentleman who was working breakfast was very kind and respectful. He was always checking to make sure the dishes were full and cleaning up after patrons. Our toilet was plugged and there was someone there to check on it immediately.

Our room was not very clean. There was toothpaste on the bathroom door frame and blue soap residue on the soap holder of the shower. The floor outside our poolside room had not been swept or scrubbed. When the gentleman came in to snake the toilet he did not clean up the mess he left. Only 1 hot tub was working which was very disappointing since we requested a poolside room for that purpose.

Myself daughter and 15 year old granddaughter wanted a evening swim ,hot tub but the kids there overran it ,we basically were stuck in a corner yet they still came splashing .shooting water toys there ,awful running slidingand our room was pool side and and they stayed in till 1 am ,could be just the group of kids that were there at that time ..first time staying there

The hotel is a little dated but was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was very good.

A couple of the hot tubs were under repair while we were there. People in room beside us left their dog alone and it barked non stop at times. This is not the hotel's fault. Perhaps people with dogs should be in rooms away from others without. I'm a dog owner myself but listening to non- stop barking is hard to ignore.

The staff were helpful an professional. Not sure we would stay in a pool side room as there are no rules to shut down so people can sleep. But would try the hotel another time. Was our first time back since March 2020 we sure missed coming to grand forks.

Pool was unavailable. We asked for pool side room but there were guys partying in front of our room passed 2 am our first night. My sister called the next evening to ask how long the party in front of our room would last. It was hockey parents . We did get to use the furthest hot tub and they wrapped up at 10 pm. Your parking lot was not sanded and very icy. I fell and hurt myself on our second day Pretty sore still

Check in went smooth. We had the king bed with the little sofa and that was great. Hubby enjoyed and made use of the hot tub. Breakfast was hearty. Also liked that there was a heat lamp in the bathroom for after shower. In summer walking distance to many places.

The shower tap was difficult to get to stop leaking. The pillows weren't great. I'd recommend you bring your own pillow if you're fussy about pillows.

Good location and price

Room was smaller than expected. Paid extra for an indoor balcony which was pointless. First room at check in was not cleaned. Moved to a second room and the air conditioning was not working. Moved to a third room which was ok.

I liked it all very much. perfect. the tv was a little smaller but everything else was perfect. I'll be staying here from now on. This has a beautiful pool area and 2 hot tubs outside the pool area.

Tv was a flat screen but it could be a little larger. Everything else was perfect.

I loved that they had two hot tubs, and were putting in a third. The kids really loved the automatic pancake maker for breakfast. Overall the rooms were great, the service was great and you couldn't beat the price! It was less than a minute to the mall and multiple restaurants! I will definitely stay again.
