This was one of the best hotels ever! The location was perfect. We found an organic restaurant just steps from the hotel. The ferries were next to the hotel. The front desk personnel made us feel right at home and were SO friendly. This hotel definitely has a B and B feeling. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. There was a lot of storage . . .even shelves in the closet! We had a lovely partial view of the harbor. The room was always sunny and bright. The morning breakfasts brought to our room was a special treat. I almost forgot to mention . . .this is the cleanest hotel. Everything is spotless!!

Nothing could have been better. This hotel WAY exceeded our expectations.

What a beautiful area this hotel is situated in. The ferry terminal is literally a 3 minute walk around the corner so that you can get over to San Francisco & Pier 39. The staff were lovely. The breakfast is continental style, You feel in your requirements for breakfast next day, tick the time you want it, hang the menu on the door before 11pm each night and it is then delivered to your room the next morning. There is a little table in your room where you can eat it or out on the balcony looking over the water. It was fabulous. A hairdrier was in the bathroom so no need to take your own. shampoo/conditioner/shower gel also provided . On Floor 2 at the end of the hallway was decking with tables and chairs & 2 sunbeds that looked across the sea/Bay. Free wine in the lobby in the afternoon between 5 & 7pm & cookies on reception in the evening. It was the first time we had been to San Francisco/Tiburon & if we had realised we would have hired a car. We were only here 2 days so it wasnt to much of an issue as we used the ferry to get in to San Fran

Check-in was very easy and gentleman was very friendly and gave us suggestions for dinner around the corner that evening after a long flight from the East Coast…….there was a happy hour in lobby complimentary (wine/Cheese) LOVED! The outdoor deck was awesome after dinner…..went down and grabbed a nice glass of wine and enjoyed the beautiful view!!! To top it off they delivered a lovely continental breakfast right to our room at 7am before we left to start our adventure to Napa next morning……Highly recommended👍

Love the wine and cheese reception in the evenings. Staffs are very warm and welcoming. Bed and pillows are nice and comfortable. Room is clean. Bathroom amenities are great. Strong shower pressure.

Room smells great throughout the day. But then around 3 am (?), there was always a weird strong skunk/piss smell that woke me up and it would stay for a while. Maybe something with the sewage system? Also breakfast selection is a bit sparse.

Breakfast options with in-room delivery were fine. The deck overlooking the water has a fantastic view and comfortable seating is provided.

There was a room next door, with a window just a few feet from mine. You could hear the TV, which was turned up loud. The check-in desk needs re-varnishing, giving the impression that the property is not being meticulously maintained.

Lovely wine and cheese Happy Hour every day and "Breakfast in Bed," complimentary Continental breakfast is delivered to your door (selections can be made on a form and placed on the door). Though not all rooms have a panoramic view, there is a gorgeous communal desk right on the bay with a magnificent view of San Francisco and the Bay. Ferry rides to the City and Angel Island are right next door.

Even before we set foot on the property the "front desk" called to see how we'd like our pillows (feather or firm) and from day one to the end it was a wonderful "first time" experience get-a-way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

There was an issue with installing new TV/s in the various rooms . . . it worked out ok and we brought our own devices so it didn't stop us from watching our favorite shows.

Water's Edge was everything i had anticipated and more. Comfortable, quiet room, many choices for breakfast, friendly, helpful staff.

Our view was not the best, however, i had not requested a special view. Parking was down the street, but the staff was very good at helping us get our bags.

Wow, what a hotel. The location is amazing, the deck overlooking the bay with views of SF was a perfect place to enjoy coffee or wine - both which the hotel provide! We were blown away by the comfort and care provided. The staff was lovely, our room was SO comfortable. The hotel happy hour and breakfast - both which are included, were TOP NOTCH! We didnt want to leave!

The location was fantastic. The historic main street so much character. Really close to the ferry to venture into San Francisco and so many other destinations. We loved the deck area in the evening and meet some lovely people.

Not much to say here. We had a little confusion with our breakfast on the last day but not a big deal. The bed was hard but okay.
