This hotel is really very nice and clearly positions its self as a boutique establishment. I’d carefully researched where to stay prior to deciding on this hotel and considered advice in various reviews so booked a court yard room, as on balance it was likely to be less noisy than other rooms, according to previous guests. While this is probably true I wish we had booked a sea view room in the main building above the restaurant or suite. The room is quite tight if you are an international traveler with all the cases that involves! The rooms them self are well equipped and really very comfortable. I liked the bed, it being slightly harder my husband prefers a softer bed and he wasn’t keen on the bed after 4 nights. Highlighting that you can’t please everyone. The bathroom is huge and it’s nice to have a decent tub. The toiletries are nice too, but im not a fan of dispensers being honest and prefer individual toiletries. One of the areas that needs attention is the bathroom, in our experience the shower cubicle had chipped and broken tiles and the sink had a large crack in it. For a hotel which clearly prides its self on offering a quality product this really detracts from the offering and reflects badly, especially at the price point guests are paying. The staff are first rate and the hotel is very clean. I would stay again but would choose another room type. There is a nice restaurant next door which we used for breakfast and one evening dinner. I’d advise booking as it is quite popular. Of note there was a long power outage when we stayed and the hotel managed it as well as one could expect. Valet parking is helpful at a cost of $35.00 pn.

The bathroom requires attention, cracked tiles and sink in the room which reflects poorly on a hotel that is offering a ‘quality product’.Toiletry dispensers as opposed to personal ones, which I appreciate is something particular to me. Lack of in room beverages and bar which would be nice given there is no bar on site.

The location is terrific; a short walk to the ferry into San Francisco, a great restaurant (not affiliated) on the ground floor level, and an easy stroll down the esplanade. The bed was very comfortable, and the balcony was really relaxing, facing away from the setting sun so you don't roast in the evening. Maid service was first rate.

For over $500 a night, it seems to me that it's reasonable to ask that the toilet should be separated from the bedroom by more than a cheesy two-panel louvred sliding door that latches with hardware bought off Home Depot's racks of screws and bolts and installed, from all appearances, by a ten year old boy scout. The rest of the bath is very nice, but as an old fashioned couple, my wife and I prefer not to share our toilet sounds. In addition, there was some kind of animal nest in the walls behind the room and whatever was in there woke us at 2AM most nights with a lot of scuffling sounds. When we told the staff about it, they seemed more amused than inquisitive about how to solve the issue.

Good value, great location, amazing staff, the best fine dining restaurant on the first floor next door (they serve breakfast as well) the staff in the hotel trained like a good 5 star hotels, valet available as well. Good view, everything is walking distance. Sausalito is a great hidden gem. And its about 10-15 mins drive to SF with no traffic.

The hotel room is designed the way you have to walk the stairs to the bathroom👀 this was very unexpected, but funny)

Location was great,overlooking the Bay with Bay Bridge visible,a 40 minute walk takes you to a trail to see the Golden Gate Bridge and a great view of Downtown SF and Alcatraz👍😊 Breakfast/Brunch at The Lighthouse is a must it is small so expect a wait time,we were lucky and timed it right,worth the wait.

All good,no niggles.

This hotel is exquisite. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the rooms are incredibly charming and really comfortable. The aesthetic of the hotel is also beautiful and the views are stunning. It's super close to some of the best restaurants. I only wish I was there for a longer trip so I can fully enjoy the facilities and the area.

We booked Cassa Madrona as a quick overnight stay on our drive up the coast. It definitely met our needs. Clean easy to access quiet.

We were a little disappointed in Sausalito as a whole. Not great options for dining and not really great shops. However, that’s not what we expected out of our stay as I said before it was just a quick overnight stop and for those purposes it met all expectations.

Spacious room, beautiful view, very quiet even being on the main street. Comfortable bed, great bath products. Lovely restaurant attached to the hotel. Incredibly peaceful location but close to downtown SF and great for day trip to Napa.

Great location with excellent restaurant next door. Good size rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly staff

No breakfast or bar just simply a hotel with rooms and a spa. Elevator annoying as only one so staff using it too and so constantly had to wait a long time for it.

Location, helpful staff, we especially liked Glen, relaxing outdoor sitting areas, responsive housekeeping Loved the toiletries, especially the lotion. Comfy bed, large room and bathroom, so nice to have private toilet!

One of our 2 room key cards didn't work, the steam room did not put out much steam, a big disappointment for me.

The hotel was beautiful for their wedding night. Really enjoyed the spa tub after a long stressful day. The balcony had a beautiful view!!!

Unfortunately, there was an ant problem and their wedding dessert was ruined. This made my daughter feel really sad.
