Great hotel location in the yacht harbor surrounded by restaurants. It has its own fantastic European bistro style restaurant Poggio with incredible Italian fare. The huge room overlooked the harbor from the balcony view. We watched boats on the water and bikes in the streets. Beautiful views! Massive, luxurious bathroom with huge tub and walk-in shower. 70” flat screen TV with movie channels. Free wi-fi. You can park on the street at night after 6PM for free. Cheap meters or $35/nite in lots across street. Coffee maker and K-cups in room.

No lobby. Can’t think of anything else….

Totally exceeded our expectations. It's an expensive hotel, but we are talking about the Bay Area, where everything is pretty expensive. The room was insane. We had an amazing view of Sausalito Downtown and the bay. It's worth the money spending a little bit more money (as we did), to stay on one of high level rooms. When we entered to the room, it was better than in the Internet pictures, which never happened to me before. High cellings, huge doors, all accomodations, king bed super comfy. Another detail is that we got to our room by a Tesla Model X. It was my first time on this tesla model, and eventhough it may not seem great, for me it was so cool.

The cleaning staff nock the door at 8.30h when the check-out was at 11.00h. They didn't know if there was somebody in the room. I assume they should have track of this information. I was half naked when they tried to enter after 10 seconds of knocking...

It is beautiful the whole property and amazing view of Sausalito. Room was lovely, cleaned daily. So worth the money. They let us store our luggage for a couple of days which was so nice of them. Staff friendly.

Fridge made a noise constantly. Pillows were too big and hard- but we didn’t say anything so they would have probably dealt with this! Staff could have informed us of the spa and what was on offer but just pointed to the QR code which was a bit disappointing

Outstanding view! Super location. Walked to everything including Ferry to San Francisco and an excellent restaurant right downstairs called Poggio. Fun local hang out at breakfast, lunch and later. Room was stunning. Great shower and full tub. Loved the balcony. Be aware if you are in the hillside units there is an elevator, but also some stairs to be navigated. Also the bathroom area was raised a couple steps so seniors need to be careful!

We were not fully aware of what the facility had to offer. Nice upstairs with outdoor fireplace that we found out about by asking. We had a fireplace, but it is wood burning, not gas. Not sure how that was supposed to work. Contact the desk for set up?

The Mansion House room was quiet, comfortable, well appointed and very clean. The view from the room was excellent. The ambiance was very calm and chilled and the reception staff and bell hops were very helpful.

The steps up to the top were tiring (at least it helped keep us in shape....we hope). On arrival and check in, we were allocated an accessibility room, which we didn't like at all. We hadn't requested it. However, we requested to be moved to another room

Love the balcony and ability to sit out on the patio to enjoy some morning coffee or evening wine. Location was close to the ferry and shopping.

To Staff was very short (curt), was not willing and did not go out of thier way to help. Spa did not accept any same day appointments and staff was not willing to help with reservations, simply pointed to a QR code and said "check there". The room was amazing, but with limited shopping and food (everything was closed by 5PM, had to drive into San Francisco for dinner), it was not worth the money paid for the evening.

Great room. comfy bed. Safe parking and relatively fairly priced considering it's in the middle of downtown and everywhere is walking distance to it. Great staff.

Nothing. However, I'd suggest to travel light (backpacks and wheelie luggage) because there can be a couple of stairs to climb if you're booked from the 5th floor onwards. The lift only goes as far as the 4th floor =).

Excellent location ( Sausalito itself). Position of hotel in centre of town. Room comfortable and quiet.

No real lounge area, or outside area to relax. Breakfast available in restaurant next door - I imagine no breakfast is a standard arrangement in the States? Attitudes not always helpful or indeed polite about dietary needs. We organised breakfast ourselves in the room most days instead.

The weather was awful when we were there, torrential rains and wind, a bomb cyclone. Our room was leaking and they came right away and moved us to a different room. Then we went to go to dinner and our rental car was parked in their parking lot under trees and the windshield was shattered. Had to call and have the car towed, roads were flooded and an Uber took 2.5 hrs to get to us, the staff were so supportive and tried to help in anyway they could. The next day they gave us a late check out so we could have some extra time in Sausalito. We were so appreciative of their support in this stressful situation.

Thank you to Kayla for making my 50th a special stay during what will be known as the cyclone bomb of a storm! The sound of rain, wind, and the view of the bay was amazing even in the torrential rain. She sent up a complimentary bottle of wine, sparkling water and chocolates after we couldn’t get our key to work. She also got me toothpaste that I forgot, brought an extra blanket, and offered a later check out. Thank you! The room was comfortable and spacious! It had a seal on the door to indicate it’s sanitized status. Beautiful views! love the shower head in the bathroom.

$35 hotel parking down an extremely steep hill.
