Beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Everything one could need. Coffee making facilities, a kettle was provided on request together with nice wine glasses, ice for the ice bucket provided. Ample parking which was good value for money considering how difficult it is to park in the town. Very friendly hosting staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely views over the bay from well ventilated rooms. Stylish decour, sofas, tables etc with fresh flowers in vases, dinning table and back up supplies of tea, coffee water, cutlery etc in beautifully appointed reception room/ common lounge.

Excellent location. Short walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Fairly quiet. Individual, unique rooms. (We booked two) gas fireplace was a nice touch. Parking on site (for a fee).

It could’ve been a really superior experience with a few adjustments. The bathroom smelled like chlorine, although it faded away during the stay. It was disappointing that the advertised bathtub jets did not work because that was one of the reasons I chose that room. The bed was comfortable, but pillows were lumpy/poor quality. My husband and I both wound up using our coats as pillows instead. It would’ve been helpful to have some bottled water in the room to use for the Keurig coffee maker that needed water.

Lovely and charming, The Gables is a terrific place to stay in Sausalito. We were upgraded to rooms on the top floor that were really spacious with a view to the water. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, with bath/shower combo was great. The room is up a flight of stairs from the lobby and has no A/C. We used a fan and the open windows at night and slept extremely well. (Also, our dinner at Scoma’s was outstanding, as was breakfast at Sausalito Bakery & Cafe - both a short walk from the hotel.)

The inn itself is lovely, perfectly located close to shops and eateries. Our room could not have been more comfortable: high ceilings, good lighting, immaculate. The staff had great suggestions for nearby restaurants. The icing on the cake was how graciously they accommodated my fiber arts instructor and two of us students for a workshop in their lobby. Onsite parking for a small fee is a lucky extra.

Great location, just above the main street. Walking distance from great restaurants and the bay. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was specious and clean. The bathroom was clean and equipped with everything we needed.

The floor in the room was covered with an old carpet and it didnt feel great to stand on it with bare feet. You need to pay extra for parking. The mattress on the bed was a spring mattress and gave me back pain. I am no longer used to spring mattress

Darling inn located perfectly for walking everywhere. Plenty of space in room & bathroom - and the balcony was a bonus with views of the bay. The staff was engaging and took time to find out what we were interested in doing, and made specific recommendations for dinner, breakfast, etc. - we took all suggestions and had great meals!

The parking is very tight and challenging.

Attractive, spacious room. Very comfortable bed and linens. Nice dresser space and bedside nightstands. Clean bathroom, could have used a shelf or two beneath sink counter so toiletry cases wouldn't get wet. Appreciated hair dryer, iron and nice products provided in bathroom. Hilly walk into town -- but that's Sausalito!

Everything! I had a king room with a balcony which was so beautiful (I didn’t realise it was a shared balcony though but luckily there was no one staying in the adjoining room so I had it al to myself). The sunrise and sunset from the room was so beautiful, definitely a highlight to see and hear the ocean from bed. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. I stayed for 2 nights and would definitely come back here again.

We were upgraded to one of the best rooms in the property. As expected, the room/the whole place was quaint, quiet and homey, but also within walking distance from restaurants and the ferry ride.

I was charged USD20, which they said would be returned to my credit card, but was not returned so far. No breakfast with the room, although they provided coffee and water.

I am actually a local tour operator. I have been to your property and always recommend and book your property when my guests request where to stay Sausalito.
