Location was great for exploring Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square and some fabulous bars and restaurants (especially Buena Vista!) We could also walk in just 10 minutes to the pier for boats to Alcatraz. The bar area is nice with some games and a selection of refrigerated/dry breakfast options. The hotel is also full of useful tips for things to do in SF and cute pictures of otters and sea lions!

The cleaning staff were a bit overkill. They would repeatedly walk into our room at 8.20am which seemed excessively early when you're on holiday. One even came in when I'd put the do not disturb sign on the door and had already asked her earlier that day not to come back til after we'd checked out at 12. It was just a little annoying but otherwise our stay was great. Parking is also very expensive at $60 a day.

Decent clean room. The location is great and the staff is helpful and friendly

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant. They have a small bar with some pre-made food. But it is not always open. Not all rooms have a mini fridge. We didn't get one, and it would help, especially when travelling with kids.

I don't usually ask much from a hotel, just a comfy bed and good hot water pressure, but it's surprising the number of hotels that fail at either one of those things. Caza did not only meet my basic demands but was also family friendly, excellently located near the Wharf and plenty of restaurants, and had the most friendly and attentive staff.

On the minus side, restaurant breakfast was not available (only pastries, fruit, coffee and juice) which may work for some but not for us traveling with a toddler. There are other breakfast options around the hotel, but many don't open until 8 or 9 am.

Great hotel right on Fisherman’s Wharf! Staff are all very friendly and attentive. We were able to swap to a room with a slightly less noisy airco unit with zero hassle. Had a partial bay view where we could see Alcatraz! Roomy lobby with lots of entertainment including pool table. We were welcome to hang around there the whole day of checkout. The breakfast is pretty good with fresh pastries, fruit and juice. Rooms are modern and complete, with high quality box spring beds. Very clean! Michaeli's is a great deli 2 blocks West with the best subs I ever ate. Definite plus.

$72 (Inc tax) a day parking fee felt a bit steep (though you are allowed to stay parked until 4pm after checkout). Quite noisy airco but at least it turned off.

The location is fantastic (short 2 block walk to the Embarcadero, block and a half from Ghirardelli). It's nice that it's not right on the Embarcadero with the potential for lots of tourist noise - being where it is, it was quiet, while still being super-convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful, room and the entire facility was sparkling clean. We loved the games (jenga, tic-tac-toe, cornhole, foosball, and so much more) scattered around the lovely "family room" type area off the lobby - we felt like it would be a fun place to bring our grandkids. The pool area was being enjoyed by a number of families with kids while we were there and they seemed to be having a blast. On check-in we received 2 refillable flexible water pouches, and there is free filtered water available in dispensers on all floors - what a great perk!

It would be great to be able to purchase soda or snacks from the "grab and go" at any hour, not just during breakfast time and during evening cocktail times. The underground parking spaces are REALLY tight and not all of them are clearly marked as no-parking areas, which made it a bit confusing. Especially as many folks are in rental cars that they aren't as familiar with, it might be good to expand those spaces a tad bit and to mark off the non-parking areas more clearly.

The bed, big and so comfortable. Loved it. It was a quite fun hotel with interesting tips for you to explore the city. The water of the pool was indeed warmed up which made it perfect for San Francisco not so hot weather. The free bikes were a great plus. Water fountains on each floor was also appreciated. Location was good near many restaurants and touristic attractions. It's a bit further away from the centre though. All in all we had a blast and would love to come back.

The noise of the bathroom ventilation that could not be turned off nor lowered apart from closing the bathroom door. For me actually likely worked as white noise as I slept wonderfully every night but it did bother my husband. Also just as a note to the housekeeping team, it would have been nicer to have the windows cleaned at least inside as there were still fingerprints left from previous little guests. It's just a small detail that impacts the first impression. But the rest seemed pretty clean.

Convenient walk to Pier 39, the beds were comfortable. They have 2 areas like a "family room" (pool tables & hockey table) which was really nice. Convenient stairs AND elevator. Also self-park , Convenient for those who dislike valet turnaround time. Loved how updated everything was, had a JBL speaker/alarm clock system.also had a functioning bar!

Paid for city view but got a room with ALLEY view.

The location in family-friendly Fisherman's Wharf (lots of shopping and restaurants), nearby the end of the line stops for two of the Cable Car routes, 10-15 min walk from the Alcatraz Trip Pier, and nearby Lombard Street made this the perfect location for a sightseeing / city visit trip. The hotel's facilities were excellent, especially the smaller 'free' touches such as coffee in the lobby each morning, ice machine, swimming pool, pool tables, family games, and 4hr bike rental (which we made use of to take a trip over the GG bridge - just make sure you get down to reception early as you can't book the bikes). Despite always being busy, the staff were also so happy and bubbly. Top notch stay.

A fridge in the room would have been nice, but you can always rent one if essential (we just used ice cubes in our sink to keep canned drinks cool).
