The location is so great and we could walk to Fisherman‘s Wharf, Lombard Street, Cable car. It is safe place with many restaurants nearby. The hotel has a game room with billiard and others that we enjoyed, we could have coffee and tea anytime until 4pm and had cookies and milk at 8pm. We enjoyed our stay there!

Kids were in the pool 1-2 hours and then had the eyes so red and had problems during the rest of the day to see or get into the sun. This didnt happen in any of our other hotel pools. Next day they were fine and we didnt have more time anyway to go to the pool.

The property was in a safe neighborhood with easy access by foot or bike to most major attractions of San Francisco. The parking garage felt safe and there was plenty of spaces available. Adding parking in the booking package made the overnight/daily fee around $30. The hotel accomodated us parking in the garage on the day we checked out up to 6pm, as listed when parking is paid. Be prepared for the bikes to not be available for free rental. Booking one of the bike rentals locally online will save about 20% of your total bike rental even the day of rental. There were ample ice machines available for the cooler we kept in our room, along with purified water dispensers. I asked for a room away from the elevators and ended up having a view of Coit Tower.

The refrigerator in our room needed to be lifted up in the front because the fridge was tilted causing the door to hang up on the carpet, I did not notify the front desk. However, the fridge in the room was a bonus because no where was a refrigerator listed as being available in the room. Garbage trucks pick up every day. We had to be up early so it didn't bother us too much and we were prepared for this from reading reviews and brought a loud fan for added white noise.

The location of this hotel is great, walking distance to Pier 39 and the many attractions. It is not a luxury hotel but is nice, clean and well kept. Checking in took some time with only one person working but was pleasant and friendly.

Ohhh, the parking. We knew the steep price before but decided to stay here anyway. Granted, the parking garage is nice and this is very desirable location but with added taxes seems to be way too expensive. During our stay, the hotel seemed pretty full but the garage was more than half empty.

The location was perfect. Close to a lot of attractions and tourist spots. Almost everything was in close proximity and in walking distance.

I had marked off earlier that I was arriving at 11 am and had asked for early check in. I arrived closer to 12 and was told check in wasn’t available. I came back an hour later and check in still wasn’t available and then when I asked for an approximate time to come back the lady said “2,3,4 could be anytime. Probably 4 since that’s check in”. She could have taken my email or phone number to call if there was an update. Just felt very standoffish. But all later interactions with any staff were great.

Location is definitely the best feature about the hotel. 10 mins walk from the pier where oyu have shops, restaurants etc. And from where you take yiur boat to Alcatraz. Close to Lombard street and if you walk up Colombus you will find great restaurants as well. Staff really nice and helpful. Room comfy enough for 4 people. You have some nice games (giant jenga) and pool tables in the lobby.

Parking is super expensive but we knew about it in advance. It is still shocking when you are actually there that you need to pay usd 72 a night. Staff was nice enough to cut us a deal an let us pay usd 52 a night. Which however makes me doubt what is the real parking cost per night...ice machine did not work in our floor so had to go to another floor to get ice.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. I liked the toiletries, especially the body lotion. Not every hotel provides that. The swimming pool was a comfortable temperature and the sunbeds comfortable. The fitness suite had good equipment.

I didn’t like how the breakfast was organised. You offered porridge, but no bowls. A lot of the choices were unhealthy, such as confectionery and crisps. Service was very slow at the till. We were around at about 3:30pm in the hotel, so thought we would take advantage of the free coffee and tea. Unfortunately, there was no more hot water in the dispenser. There was no one around to ask at the bar, so reported it to the receptionist. She said she would let someone know, but after waiting 5 minutes, nobody came to refill it, so I gave up.

We had such a great stay at Hotel Caza Fisherman’s Wharf! The location was perfect—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the trolley. The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was not only very clean but also surprisingly spacious for San Francisco. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we loved the bar and coffee area inside, which offered plenty of grab-and-go snacks. What really made our stay stand out was the staff—every single person we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. We felt really welcomed and well taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Nothing, it was great!

Excellent location, central to all tourist attractions, easy accessibility to public transport. They have provided facilities for a Water filter & ice machine, a common microwave & toaster, which allows you to bring in breakfast and re-heat, this really helped, especially with all the complimentary tea and coffee during breakfast. Room cleaning is done every day and the staff are extremely accommodating and courteous, when asked to come an hour or 2 later, they were happy to accommodate. All the games laid out in the common area are fun, whatever be your age.

Limited options for Breakfast.

We had a good stay overall. The hotel has great facilities—there are some really fun games in the lobby that add a nice, relaxed vibe. The fitness room was also a great bonus and well-equipped for a hotel gym. The room itself wasn’t anything special, but it was clean, comfortable, and completely fine for what I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the location couldn’t be better—super convenient and easy to get around from.

The parking was very expensive, which we knew before arriving but it did take away a bit from the overall value. Still, a solid choice for a city stay with some fun perks.

The location is excellent for all major must sees in San Francisco. There is a really cool vibe around the hotel and the staff are all really nice and very helpful. Sadly it was too cold to use the pool but it looked really good. Transport was so close by but many places were walkable.

Noise is a big issue at the hotel, we could hear our neighbours conversation very clearly and them coughing. The windows rattling in the wind and were not double glazed so street noise and even people talking/shouting was heard in the room and we were on the 5th floor. It’s a city so to be expected I guess. The ac was also very loud we couldn’t keep ours on overnight. All stuff ear plugs can fix though!
