Location location location! I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to the pier, which means it's also within walking distance to Ghiradelli Square, the cable cars, and the city tour buses. So clean! So comfortable! We stayed in the suite with two king size beds (I think they're listed as queens but were definitely kings) and a pull out bed. The big bay windows looking out over the street were wonderful. I've never had so much natural light in a hotel room before. I love that the shampoo/conditioner/body wash is in big bottles attached to the shower wall, for a party of six that means we don't have to fight over the little bottles. The breakfast was delicious! Hot and cold choices. Valet parking, so more expensive than self parking but I feel like in a big city that's the best way to keep your car safe.

I wish we were there longer. I left my heart in San Francisco.

Darrin, Brandi, & Ro at the Front Desk were amazing! They all offered extraordinary customer service and went out of their way to assist with any requests or questions. The valet service agents were very accommodating and courteous (especially Oscar!). As a former employee of two of the largest and most luxury hotels in Oregon, I appreciated the attention by all given to this guest and efforts to help make this the greatest start to our vacation, and an AWESOME visit to San Francisco!

Belongings from previous guest were left in the drawer, and the window sills appeared dusty.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, mostly quiet hallways, being able to have a window that opened a little to let in fresh air.

I would much prefer self-parking over valet parking. The overnight rates at the lot behind the hotel were cheaper. The "view" I paid extra for was a sliver of the bay that was unrecognizable as the bay unless you looked closely. The room doors shut loudly and woke me up at night when a neighbor would be out late.

I loved that the hotel was located in a safe area. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was amazing and the space for breakfast was large. It was centrally located to Fisherman's Wharf and to ride the cable cars. We walked to Pier 33 and walked to Lombard Street. We had no issues.

The park is expensive! it is $75 for a night. But it is piece of mind while you are touring the city. It is noisy since you are in the city. We actually checked to see if the windows were open.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel and we never regretted it once. The staff is extremely helpful and nice, the rooms are well kept and the bed is very comfy. Excellent location, close to the piers and many attractions. There is a Trader Joe's around the corner and the office for the Hop-on/Off bus. The Alcatraz pier is also in walking distance. Water, tea, coffee is available in the lobby throughout the day. The only thing they could improve is the breakfast options, but this applies to the whole Holiday Inn chain. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The check in process was good. We arrived early and appreciated dropping our bags at the concierge until check in time. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The property is conveniently located and a nice short walk to Fisherman's wharf, Ghiradelli Square and Lombard Street. The breakfast buffet was quite good with lots of variety. Good value given its location to many of the city's tourist attractions.

The valet service was great, but it is very expensive (as it is in most major cities) and I expected that. I also have issues with hotels adding a "resort fee" when the property is not what I would classify a "resort".

Location was fantastic breakfast was well stocked and facilities were clean. Staff was very friendly and nice.

The parking fee was high and was not mentioned with the price per night of the hotel

Great hotel in a good location, just a few minutes' walk from Fisherman's Wharf. Staff are UNBELIEVABLY friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The management really should be proud of the team working here as they are an absolute credit to the company. The included breakfast was good, plenty of options and variety, but seating was limited so it was sometimes difficult to find a table. The hotel is happy if you want to bring in your own food and eat in the lounge area, we did this a couple of nights and saved a fortune compared to eating in restaurants.

The only negative thing I could say is that the breakfast hours finish too early. 6.30am - 9.30am means you have to be an early riser to make sure you benefit from breakfast. Running it to 10.30am would be much better and may alleviate some of the crowding issues.

Friendly staff, clean, updated rooms and perfect location for visiting Fisherman’s wharf. In addition, it had one of the better complimentary breakfasts.

Disappointed in a $35 up charge for ‘early’ check in. The room was already cleaned and we arrived a couple of hours early. No extra cost or effort was made in order for us to get into the room a bit early as we did not pre-request an early check in. Strictly a money grab.

Location is good as it is walking distance from the Wharf. Hotel provides a lot of options for breakfast. Rooms we stayed in are clean and comfy. I liked that coffee and water are readily available in the lobby. Manager who checked us in is very helpful. He even recommended as few restaurants near the area. He was accommodating which helped us a lot as we came from a long flight.

Price is a bit high but you get what you paid for.
