Excellent location on Fishermans wharf surrounded by shops and eateries. 15 minute walk from Pier 39. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with the best crab chowder. Various attractions are within walking distance, including Ghirardelli, the San Fransisco cable car company and the boat trips to Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge. Staff was very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with large tv, snacks, mini bar and very comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit San Fransisco.

The rooms are wonderfully decorated, they provide wine glasses without requesting them, and the beds are super comfortable.
We got the cheaper king, no view room this time and it really was no view, except into the neighbors room. They should invest in some potted large plants, and at least hide the neighbors windows and add a little interest.

We liked the fact that it was away from all the chaos of SF. Not so much traffic. It was a perfect place for what we went for. I liked the fact that we were walking distance to restaurants, the peer or dock with old ships, stores, Ben & Jerry's, Ghiradeli, just so many things within walking distance. It was amazing, even though we were only there for 1 night with my family. The staff behind the counter as well as the valets were great, and most importantly, they are dog friendly.
There wasn't too much to not like. I'd have to stay another time to really find out, because we only stayed 1 night with check out at 12 noon. Maybe if I could of have a later check out courtesy of hotel, that would have been great.

Really great location right in the midst of Fisherman’s Wharf. Very helpful staff that actually moved us to a better room one floor up which was highly appreciated. The second room we were offered was a bit lighter and was well laid out and bed was very comfortable.
Restaurant was very busy and the staff weren’t even able to accommodate us at the bar! Only valet parking was available which was a bit confusing on arrival as I drove around the building twice looking for the parking hall. Perhaps some signage would help guests or then I just missed it.

Wonderful Hotel in a prime location in the heart of Fishermans Wharf. Lovely resturant for breakfast and evening meal. 100 yards from cable car (tram) stop. Short walk to peir 39, sealions, shops and resturants, pier 35 (Alcatraz) and open top bus stop a. Highly recommend a cycle ride to Sausalito via the Golden Gate Bridge (ferry back). nd Lombard Street (wiggly). Try the clam chowder!
