Super 8 by Wyndham Quebec City

the pool was great for our daughter breakfast was good rooms were clean good location with ample parking lots of luggage carts available bilingual staff

the slide was fast which could be dangerous based on the users not be careful to who was below in the pool. no housekeeping for the subsequent days, we needed to go to the front desk a number of times door lock didn’t always work well with cards exercise room was small and limited in equipment, which wasn’t well maintained

Matress , washroom wasn't clean , lack of towels

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A short 20 minute drive to old Quebec and 20 minutes in the opposite direction to an excursion in Mont Bélair. Also a short drive to many amenities. Fun pool with water slide and mushroom shaped water feature. Lots of free parking.

We showed up toward the end of breakfast the first day and thought we missed out on breakfast as there were only beverages out and no food. We asked the front desk the second day where the food was and they turned around and gave us our bag of food. Odd but obviously cost efficient with much less waste. Breakfast was disappointing with limited selection of prepackaged food including prepackaged dry half muffins. A minor complaint that would not stop us from going back.

we did not get any hand towels, face cloths or bath mat in the bathroom. Also breakfast was in a bag because of staffing issues, which we understand. We checked off the box on the breakfast order form that indicated we would like the same items the next morning as well, but no breakfast was provided for us or our friends. The phone line had been cut in our room and asked the front desk for a replacement.

The breakfast was fine. Beds were clean and comfy, room temperature was good.

The pool needs some work and the staff was not very helpful. My daughter dropped her juice and the girl at the front desk saw and did nothing. She was going to just leave the juice all over the floor. I asked her for a mop and she said are you going to mop it? I actually intended to mop it but never did I except that question. Overall staff was not friendly or helpful.

Breakfast was great, lots of variety. The woman running the breakfast bar was very friendly and helpful, and my kids appreciated that she spoke both French and English.

The pool room was being repainted and smelled strongly of paint fumes. The little splash pad in the shallow end of the pool did not work. This was a huge disappointment as this water feature was one of the reasons we selected this Super 8.

We were 5 people, and the room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was wonderful, especially the great lady who took care of the breakfast crowd, so friendly and kind. We were there for 2 nights, but if I'm ever in the area again, this is where I'll be staying

There is nothing bad or critical that I can say. Everyone in the family had a great time, and the kids loved the pool

The place was clean, staff was friendly and it was short driving to the places we planned on visiting.

The cholrine in the pool was very strong and made eyes burn even if you were just watching. Young female staff alone to do all the chores and anything that needed to be done. I realize with Covid places are short staffed and she did great and did everything on her own. Earlier in the days then not busy there were 2 staff at reception.

Room is spacious , clean and nice Convenient bathroom with bath and toilet separated from sink by door, so two people could use bath/toilet and sink in privacy There is a pool with hottub and with waterslide (only one). Waterslide is rather good , so kids were happy. Breakfast is OK, there is a choice of items , you need to indicate on the wishlist and the employee will pick up necessary items for you When we arrived the room was not yet ready, but stuff managed to clean the room quite quickly, while we used dining area to eat some snacks good location normal parking, rather big and convenient staff is welcoming and helping

The pool is quite small, for kids only (depth is about 1m), so it is impossible to use it for adults. Since there are no changing rooms - all people just walk after the pool to their rooms, with the water running to the floor in the lobby, in the elevator etc inconvenient internet that disconnected permanently , so it was easier just to use mobile internet on the phone

kids loved the water slide and the fact that the pool was not too deep so they could touch. 1.2 m depth where the slide is. really clean. staff were friendly and answered all questions. free breakfast. definitely caters to families. we got a room with 3 queen beds which is hard to find for a family of five so really appreciated this.
